dopeJemi: United dey fall my Hand big time, I said it b4... We shouLd have brought in KLopp instead of dis scottish poop... I just can't beLieve we r struggLing 2 winAll these knee-jerk reactions from United fans. It's only preseason and we're playing the Japs who are already midway through their own season. Surely, you don't expect that we'll waltz in and thrash them just because we are Manchester United? Also consider that the two Japanese teams we've played so far are currently 3rd and 5th in their leagues respectively. Add that to the climatic conditions in Japan and the fact that these are not competitive matches, and you'll hopefully gain some perspective. |
Thiago: "The truth is that in no moment did [Manchester] United come to us and talk to us. It came from the press, it was always a lie." |
In the wake of the recent uproar against the grand idiocy of the Nigerian Senate, it is only fitting that an 11-year-old girl who is currently facing similar challenges in far away Yemen, has decided to speak up on behalf of all child brides the world over. Her words: "It's true that I ran away from my family. I can't live with them anymore. Enough. I want to go live with my uncle. What about the innocence of childhood? What have the children done wrong? Why do you marry them off like that?" Watch the entire video below. [flash=600,450] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J7_TKgw1To[/flash] |
Valencia's bench looks set to have a permanent seat belt this season, should Zaha continue like this. |
elampiro: For the records: Anderson and Cleverly started together. So can we say the jinx is broken or someone is going to hang this on Moyes? The more matches you play the more possibility the streak gets weak.haha, I knew this was going to pop up! ![]() Cleverley played as a right winger today, not CM. I believe Coogar's argument has always been that a 2-man MIDFIELD PAIRING of Anderson-Cleverley has always won us matches. Not that if they are both simply on the pitch at the same time. Today's midfield pairing was Anderson-Carrick. Note: this clarification is simply to mitigate coogar's inevitable insult coming your way you when he sees your post. ![]() |
Is Adnan Janujaz the reason we've been silent in the transfer market? That boy is good though. |
Trickbox: The best of 2012/13 Didn't fully realize RVP performed these many skills and flicks during play. ![]() http://twii.edgeboss.net/download/twii/manutd/Trickbox_best_1213_h2.mp4 |
elampiro: Was Kagawa the best Japenese player? No.Dude, Kagawa won the Man of the match award last night. Unlike the others here, I don't contend that you saw the game. My only advice is that you get a proper, colour (and if you can afford one, HD) television for the next game. You're welcome. |
elampiro: 6 goals in 17 start? That is the poorest we have seen at United for any striker. Did he even score a UCL goal? Rooney had harick on his debut as a tenager. We know them when young not old age of 24. elampiro: Kagawa has no talent. His talent is only good for losers and possesional snail like play. |
Nigeria and Pakistan are two of the planet's most anti-gay countries, so why are residents of both nations searching for so much gay pörn? |
jayriginal: We could take turns prophesying and not about football matchesExactement, mon frère! ![]() |
Uyi Iredia: Reading this thread makes me wanna scream atheism is a religion again. I was, at least, fairly consistent (as Purist noted). I even said deism (which I now proclaim) is a religion. Lemme try suggest it in another manner. Atheism and Deism are tending to orthodoxy's.By the way (and for the umpteenth time), atheism is NOT a religion... neither is deism. |
Uyi Iredia: That's practically impossible. But surprises occur.I thought the same too. But, yeah, surprises occur. **bookmarked** |
jayriginal: hehehe. Purist whats up bro?I dey o... we should team up and open a church ASAP. Don't you see we're gifted? ![]() |
Purist: - Uyi Iredia: Intellectual Christian, although he nurses some questionable beliefs. A decent Christian apologist at best. Often ends up "discombobulating" issues with some strange logic. Reminds me somewhat of my old Christian self. I see him turning to either deism, agnosticism, atheism or full pantheism some day.@ red bold... This, right here, is proof that you don't need no holy spirit to 'see things'. ![]() Almost a year ago and I was spot on! TB Joshua's got nothing on me, for real. ![]() |
^^ Tentative? Even better. I do, in fact, think you'll be an agnostic/atheist in a matter of time. Just keep searching. |
^^ So you're a deist now? Well, I definitely saw that coming. |
If only Nigerians knew the amount of efforts that go into these carefully planned tricks to make them believe in "miracles", "jazz", etc. In virtually all instances of faith healing and juju demonstrations, there are usually many players involved. In churches, the players include the supposedly "sick" person and their "distraught" families, alongside the pastor and his aides, of course. For the juju men, especially those that exhibit publicly, the players often include "random" members of the crowd and "innocent" passersby. I sincerely hope we'll wake up some day. |
jayriginal: Purist(my bro), Mazaje and Folykaze, permit me to be blunt.Seconded. I fully agree with everything you've said here. The only reason I'd want this to hold is because I feel it is ridiculous for a so-called atheist to believe in such shenanigans. In the case of FOLYKAZE, it seems the only thing that can convince him at the moment is when his bullet proof jazz totally fails before his own eyes. |
FOLYKAZE: The point im trying to make here is that if my bullet proof skinned guy bleed then I failOkay, thanks for clarifying. |
FOLYKAZE: how can someone bleed without been hit or bullet penetrating into his skin? Definitely, no penetration, no bleedingSome of your fellow jazz practitioners would have us believe that it is possible for a bullet to penetrate the human body and there will be no blood. That's why I'm asking to be absolutely sure. One more thing, I'll suggest this whole exercise should be carried out on a neutral ground you both agree on. Also, if possible, have more than one camera man record the whole thing (possibly up to 3 or even more) so we can have different angles of the incident as it plays out. |
FOLYKAZE: We all know what gun is. And we know the effect if a bullet hit a target. Well what I agree on his, the skinned guy wont bleed. Either he is pushed back or feel pains in not in the talk. What I want to show his the bullet proof skin guy wont bleed. FOLYKAZE: defininately, it your bullet penetrate, it will surely bleed. penetration prompt bleeding. Try to understand me.Oga, please clarify. Will your "skinned guy" jazz man bleed or not? |
FOLYKAZE: Here, I will choose two option for him, he should come with any gun he got. And the gun will definitely Jam immediately he point it to the bullet proof guy. He can try point the gun on something else instantly and very sure that it will work back. mazaje: Sure the gun will not jam and if I hit the target, the bullet will penetrate. . .It will NEVER hit the target and fail to enter . . .I will shoot the target on his leg and the target will not be far away from me. . .2 meters away from me will be the agreed distance. . . FOLYKAZE: Obviously we agree on same thingOkay, I'm glad we've reached a consensus here. Just to be absolutely clear to everyone, here's what you both agreed on: Mazaje comes with his own gun, stands - at most - 2 meters away, and will shoot at the target. 1) If mazaje's gun jams (and thus, fails to shoot) when pointed at the target, the bullet-proof jazz would have been proven to be very REAL (i.e. it WORKS as claimed). 2) If mazaje's gun fails to jam (and it actually shoots) when pointed at the target, and PENETRATES/ENTERS/PIERCES, the bullet-proof jazz would have been proven to be very FAKE (i.e. it does NOT work as claimed). So if mazaje shoots and penetrates the target, it would NOT matter if the target felt no pain, or failed to bleed. The jazz would still have been proven to be FAKE. Please, kindly confirm the correctness of my post. |
FOLYKAZE: The whole body can be shoot at. It has on limitation at all.It has absolutely NO limitations at all, you mean? OKay, great. |
More so, @FOLYKAZE: Is there any part of the human body that this bullet-proof jazz fails to protect? Does your "jazz" cover the whole body? If mazaje shoots the target on the leg and the bullet penetrates/enters/pierces, I hope you won't tell us that it is because the target wasn't wearing the jazz on her/his leg? Abeg, describe this jazz in detail and how it works. Does it have any limitations? Are there any specific guns it can only work with? Can it withstand an AK 47? |
mazaje: Ok. . .Here is my position. . .I will come with my own fully functional AK 47. . .I will shoot and the gun will not Jam and if it hits the target the bullet must penetrate . . .This is my position and this is what i aim to achieve. . .FOLYKAZE over to you. . .Good. In other words, when the trigger of your own firearm is pulled and the bullet penetrates the target, regardless of what happens to target next (whether he/she is able to resist the pain, or somehow fail to bleed, etc), you would have proven that bullet-proof jazz is FAKE and does NOT work as claimed. Is this your position, mazaje? And do you agree with this, FOLYKAZE? EDIT: By 'penetration', I suppose you mean that the bullet will actually enter or pierce the target's body. (We need to define these things properly before someone comes to tell us penetration means something else. ) |
@mazaje and FOLYKAZE The full terms and conditions of this bullet-proof jazz test should be stated on this thread (or create a new thread) so that both parties, and the rest of us, can see and AGREE on what constitutes the "jazz" success or failure. At the moment, it seems all we have on the part of FOLYKAZE is the assumption (or assurance) that a bullet will be shot and will fail. But how do you define this failure? - Will the gun jam? - Will the shooter miss his target? - Will the bullet fail to penetrate and bounce off the target's body? - Will the target fail to bleed even when he/she is hit? - Will he/she bleed but will still be fine at the end? - Will the target feel no pain after being shot? How EXACTLY are you gonna be able to say conclusively that the bullet-proof jazz works 100%? Note that 99.99999% is no definitive proof. You guys have to state these things publicly before either party beings to change mouth depending on the outcome of the test. In other words, the terms should somewhat be in the following unequivocal form: 1) If 'A' happens, the test has succeeded (i.e. bullet-proof "jazz" is REAL and works as claimed). 2) ELSE, the test has failed (i.e. bullet-proof "jazz" is FAKE and does not work as claimed). Over to you, guys. |
coogar: rooting for city to beat wigan.........moyes' first acid test would be against city in the community shield in august. we shall see how brilliant he is by then. That's hardly an "acid test" for him, in my opinion. Moyes has got a fantastic record against Mancini.
Beating the Blues Moyes boasts an excellent record against the 'modern' Manchester City, having won seven and drawn one of his 10 meetings with them since Sheikh Mansour's takeover early in 2008/09. This sequence includes two 'doubles' - victories at home and away in the same season - and four consecutive wins at Goodison Park. The last of these, 2-0 on 16 March 2013, helped United to go 15 points clear in the title race as the Reds defeated Reading 1-0 later that day. Only three Premier League teams have beaten City at the Etihad Stadium in the last three seasons - United last December, Arsenal (in October 2010) and Moyes' Everton (in December 2010). Everton's results vs Manchester City from 2009-2013 are as follows: Wins: 6 Draws: 1 Losses: 1 Goals scored: 12 Goals conceded: 5 http://www.manutd.com/en/Welcome-new-manager/WelcomeNewManagerNews/2013/May/david-moyes-cut-from-the-same-cloth.aspx?pageNo=4
|
coputa: @styca..,i am happy that you are now getting a clearer picture of what i was must it be documented before it can be factual for you to believe....what of the loads of lies that the whites documented for us to read, does it make sense to you....e.g the Darwin theory of evolution that makes us believe that man (exluding whites) evolves from Ape,.is this the kind of fairy tales that you want to believe.... |
Soloblincus: i remember oneday when i was about 10yrs old, i was hoping that nepa restores power to enable me watch a favourite program on tv. Two mins b4 d start, i remembered matt 7:7, and i prayed, as soon as i said amen, power was restored. That was one of the tins dat made me strong in faith in d begining, but honestly i never got such a fast 'answer' again.Nothing but coincidence there, man. I had exactly the same experience at about the same age too or less. My siblings and I were gathered at the dining table that night, diligently devouring our dinner. Being the youngest, I was mandated (albeit quite jokingly) to pray to god to restore power; the reward being an extra piece of meat if my prayer came to pass. Then I prayed. As soon as we all uttered the last 'Amen', electricity was restored instantaneously. Needless to say, I offered the same prayer multiple times after that night whenever the lights went off, and with the same or even stronger level of conviction (or faith, if you will), and guess what? Yeah, you guessed right: nothing ever happened again! |
Hey GhostOfSparta, I take back the harsh words. Although I am still not convinced at all, I wish you good luck in your endeavours. I wish I could take up your challenge, but I'm too far away from you to do so. All the best. By the way, I'm very much Nigerian, and I don't believe in deities. |
