The worst NLC ever seen. FG added just 40,000 over everyone and that's the calculation of both FG and NLC and this ajaero kept quiet after cashing out on every worker. Tax took more than 10,000 of the 40k, NHF and pension took theirs remaining less than 10k for everybody and we move on. Tinubu is the worst president as ajaero is the worst NLC. |
Tinubu Runs Nigeria Via Whatsapp Group – Atiku Alleges, Lambasts Wike By Safiyat Muhammed Abuja, FCT - Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has launched a scathing attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, accusing him of betrayal and complicity in the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s alleged misrule. Atiku further claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is running Nigeria remotely via a WhatsApp group instead of delivering responsible leadership from Aso Rock. The controversy erupted after Wike, during an interview on TVC, questioned the sincerity behind the growing political coalition seeking to unseat President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. The coalition, comprising Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, aims to present a united opposition front against the ruling APC. Wike described the coalition’s proponents as power-hungry individuals pursuing personal ambitions, rather than working to build a formidable opposition platform. “Everybody wants to become president of the country. Nobody wants to say, ‘Let me strengthen our party so we can position it for a proper democratic takeover,’” Wike stated. Reacting sharply, Atiku's media aide, Paul Ibe, lambasted Wike, describing him as a political traitor with no moral authority to discuss sincerity or party loyalty. “Wike is not in a position to talk about sincerity,” Ibe said. “This is a man who betrayed his party and is working with the APC to sabotage the PDP and the hopes of millions of Nigerians. He has no understanding of what sincerity means.” Ibe went further to criticize President Tinubu, claiming that the Nigerian leader is practically absent from governance. “If Wike wants to talk about sincerity, he should advise his principal, Tinubu—an absentee president who governs the country through the Presidential Villa’s WhatsApp group. Tinubu must return home and face the business of governance.” He also accused Wike of meddling in Rivers State affairs to assert total control over the state government by allegedly conspiring with federal forces in Abuja to weaken Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “Wike is not only undermining his party but also his own state. It’s shameful. Instead of supporting democratic structures, he’s using underhanded tactics to destabilize governance in Rivers,” Ibe stated. Also weighing in, the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) accused Wike of being an agent of the ruling party and attempting to discredit a movement that enjoys widespread support from Nigerians desperate for change. CUPP’s National Secretary, Peter Ahmeh, said: “Wike is doing APC’s bidding. His attempt to dismiss the coalition is proof that he’s working against the collective interest of Nigerians. But Nigerians are awake. The coalition isn’t about personal ambition—it’s about reclaiming the country from incompetence and failed leadership.” The coalition movement, already gaining traction across key demographics, is being positioned as a credible platform to challenge what critics call the APC's "clueless economic policies," "chronic insecurity," and "institutionalized corruption." As Nigeria inches closer to the 2027 elections, the battle lines are being drawn—and the political temperature is heating up. Source: The Bureau Newspaper |
Rivers: I Cannot Take Orders From A Sole Administrator - Ex-Magistrate George Ejike George, a former Chief Magistrate in Rivers State, has revealed why he resigned rather than take orders from the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.). During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Thursday, George justified his resignation, saying he was not trained to take instructions from a military adminstrator. “I am simply saying that I cannot take instructions from a military administrator. I cannot,” he stated. The former magistrates faulted President Bola Tinubu’s decision to suspend Governor Siminalayi Fubara, noting that there was no crisis in Rivers State to have warranted the move. “It is not fair to the people of Rivers State,” George added. “My reason for resignation is simply because I cannot adapt to the military style of adjudication that would be introduced by the reason of the sole administrator. “As a magistrate, our courts are courts of summary jurisdiction. Our proceedings are not guided by the constitution of this country. That being the case, it means that I would take directives from my employer, who is the Chief Judge of Rivers State. “We, in turn, take some level of directive from the governor; that would have been the elected governor who had acted as the chief security officer of the state. “I am simply saying that I cannot take instructions from a military administrator. I cannot. In the entire 16 years that I served with the Rivers State Judiciary, I have taken instructions from civilian administrators. “I do not know how I am going to adapt and now begin to take instructions from a military administrator. I find it very strange. “The judiciary did not take us to any previous training on how to work with military administrators. Until that is done, I don’t know how even my colleagues would cope. “So, for me, unfortunately, I am not the type that would keep my mouth shut. So, I decided to throw in the towel and go home and look for something else to do,” he stated. George also criticised the Rivers State Judicial Commission for claiming that he was due for voluntary retirement and did not resign. “I never faced any panel for any misconduct,” he said, challenging the commission to publish the report of any misconduct against him. https://thesun.ng/rivers-why-i-cant-take-orders-from-administrator-ex-magistrate-on-resignation/?fbclid=IwY2xjawJu295leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHlb-PkI-1QP95-A-UTPpvQah9ZPqV85RHhi9C_089ornFxXC7Oswnx4qDHo__aem_XkrLd1BknjeZq1WgLs352Q |
I Have Capacity To Become Nigeria’s President — Seyi Makinde: A Response from a Concerned PDP Member By: Rita Ebiuwa When Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State boldly declared that he has the capacity to become Nigeria’s President, it raised eyebrows and ignited conversations across political spaces. Capacity? Perhaps. The Nigerian Constitution guarantees every qualified citizen the right to aspire to any political office, including the highest one in the land. So, on that basis, Governor Makinde is well within his rights to dream big. However, capacity alone does not qualify one for the ticket of a political party — loyalty, commitment, and consistency do. This is where the real issue lies, and this is why many of us in the People's Democratic Party (PDP) take serious exception to Governor Makinde’s recent posturing. The same Makinde who now seeks the PDP presidential ticket was part of the infamous G-5 — a group of five governors who, at a crucial time in our party’s journey, chose to place personal loyalty and ego above the collective interest of the party. Let’s not rewrite history. In the buildup to the 2023 general elections, when the PDP needed every loyal hand on deck, when the stakes were high and the party was gearing up to return to power at the federal level, Governor Makinde — alongside Nyesom Wike and other G-5 members — turned their backs on the party. Why? Because their preferred candidate, Wike, lost the presidential ticket to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Rather than unite behind the party's democratic choice, Makinde and his allies deliberately worked against PDP's victory. They courted anti-party alliances, sowed division, and handed their respective states to the opposition — all in a bid to frustrate the party’s presidential campaign. That betrayal is still fresh in the minds of many party faithful. Let’s not forget how we, as committed PDP members from all corners of the country, once rallied around Makinde. Many of us defended him from online attacks, engaged APC supporters in Oyo State, and promoted his policies even without ever meeting him — simply because he flew the PDP flag. That loyalty was one-sided. When the party needed him the most, he chose friendship with Wike and proximity to power over party principles. Now, as 2027 draws near, Makinde is conveniently remembering the party. He wants the same platform he tried to destabilize to give him the most coveted ticket in Nigeria. But we must ask ourselves: to what end? So he can repeat the 2023 script — feign loyalty, secure the ticket, and then step down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the eleventh hour? Is this another backdoor plot to retain power within a close circle of allies? We see through the game. The agenda is clear, and the party must not be deceived again. Governor Makinde, you have the right to aspire, but not under the PDP — not after 2023. The party cannot afford to reward disloyalty. It is time to draw a line between those who stood firm through thick and thin, and those who only see the party as a vehicle for personal ambition. The PDP ticket must go to a member who has consistently served, defended, and stood by the party in its toughest moments. As for you, Mr. Governor, finish your term, return home, and let the PDP rebuild itself without the shadow of betrayal hanging over its future. There is no presidential ticket in 2027 for G-5 sympathizers. Not again. Ojo pe asiwere gbagbe

FCTA PRESS RELEASE Rivers: Unfortunate, Some Elders Now Speaking Like Children, Wike's Aide Chides Ada George Lere Olayinka, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike's Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, has said that it was unfortunate that some elders in Rivers State, who played ostrich when suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara was acting like an emperor are now speaking like "children who lost their most prized toys." Olayinka, in a statement on Thursday, described as funny and unfortunate that a former Governor of Rivers State, Ada George, who was among those clapping for Fubara, when he was sitting on the salary and other entitlements of fellow indigenes of Rivers State, who are members of the State House of Assembly is now speaking on who should be blamed for the state of emergency in the State. During a media briefing, Ada George, had accused the FCT Minister of orchestrating the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, including the imposition of a state of emergency and the appointment of sole administrators in all 23 local government areas. Responding, the FCT Minister's Spokesperson, who said people like Ada George lacked what it takes to be called an elder, said; "unlike these people masquerading as 'Rivers Elders and Leaders Forum', genuine elders sit in position of neutrality when there are conflicts among younger ones so that they will enjoy credibility and respect while sitting on the high table to ressolve the issues." He said; "When Fubara was orchestrating the burning and demolition of the Rivers State House of Assembly, supposed elders like Ada George were hailing him. They were telling him it was normal for three members to run a House of Assembly of 32 members, with 11 as quorum of one-third that can sit and 22 as two-third that can pass budgets. "When the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, intervened in the crisis and resolutions signed by all parties, it was this same Ada George that described the President’s intervention as 'executive rascality.' "He (Ada George) went further to say that the intervention by the President 'contravened the doctrine and practice of separation of powers and unilaterally suspended the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.' They were everywhere calling the President a meddlesome interloper and hailing Fubara. "Even when the Supreme Court ruled and made clear and unambiguous pronouncement, Ada George and his so-called elders still saw no reason they should tell Fubara to come down from his high horse of arrogance and lawlessness. Rather, they watched as he reeled out threats upon threats, including openly saying that he would give instructions as to what to do at the appropriate time. "True to his threats, Fubara gave instructions and Nigerians saw the outcome when oil pipelines started coming up in flames. "Now that Fubara’s lawlessness has resulted in the imposition of emergency rule, the same elders who failed to stand and act like real elders are sobbing like children whose most prized toys have been taken away. It is funny and unfortunate. "They have even turned themselves to monitoring spirits, monitoring when Wike comes to Rivers State and when he leaves as if it has now become illegal for a Minister to visit his home-state and associate freely with the people." While telling Ada George and his Rivers Elders and Leaders Forum to blame themselves for taking side when they should be neutral, Olayinka said; "the moment an elder takes side in a conflict between two children, such an elder has lost the rights to intervene and ressolve the conflict." *Says judgement compromised A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Friday, described the majority judgement of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal that purportedly sacked Governor Ademola Adeleke as highly compromised. Frank in a statement in reaction to the judgement said the verdict fell short of expectations and does not reflect the will of the majority of the people of Osun who freely elected Senator Adeleke as Governor. He called on the National Judicial Council to urgently cause a probe of the verdict with a view to restoring Adeleke’s mandate as well as penalizing any of the tribunal members found to have compromised on integrity. He also called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to urgently investigate the judges who wrote the majority judgement and prosecute those found to have based their decision on other considerations rather than the true facts canvassed during the hearing of the case. He also called on the United States of America to place a visa ban on the Osun tribunal judges found to have used their highly exalted position as arbiters to derail and frustrate the growth of democracy in the country. He commended the judge who wrote the minority judgement for sticking to the truth and siding with the wishes and aspirations of Osun people that elected Adeleke during the last governorship election. He however, urged the people of Osun to remain calm and law abiding with the certainty that the mandate they freely gave to Adeleke would be retrieved at the appellate court. He vowed that Nigerians will not fold their arms and watch any attempt to use the judiciary to again steal Adeleke’s mandate through the backdoor

Peter Obi in an attempt to throw jabs at his fellow contenders made a big blunder that's now become a subject of debate. He claimed the former governor of Rivers state Peter Odili was his colleague at Christ the king college in Onitsha which has turned out to be a lie as Gov. Peter Odili left CKC in 1967 when Peter Obi was only 6 years old at that time |
