Respect to everyone in the house. I've been a silent follower of this great thread,it has enlightened me in many ways. I have a girlfriend,we've been together for a while. We were to meet last week at my place but I went for a conference hence,we could not meet. She called severely which I ignored. I did not contact her for 8 days. I've been calling and texting her to no avail. She's ignoring too. Brilliant minds, what do I have to do.

You're joking, aren't you?

Even as a guy, I will block you if you were to be my girlfriend.

What are you thinking that you can ignore someone for no just cause for a whole 8 days and return back to call them again.

It's better you be yourself if you don't understand redpill, it will only ruin you if applied wrongly

At this rate eh if I see a good business I can do with 6m I go sell my two cars and get off this hustle........it's the entitlement mentality of those riders for me right now ...like are you not aware of what is going on

I also need a business idea. I don't even need to sell my car, I already have the capital but have been scared of investing in the wrong business.

Basically, money from ehailing is a chop money. Nothing to save really.

My money is currently saved in mutual funds yielding 22% p.a.

No need to draw conclusions this way.

You don't know why he personally delivered it. What if he had a personal business in Edo, and decided to use a stone for two birds?

Accidents happen. Even from your house to Lekki, it can happen. Should we now say everyone should get a driver or a boy to drive him?

The only thing i draw from any accident is to drive carefully, and speed kills.

Accident happens, even if you decide to trek sef.

Well, this is me thinking out of concern. I've thought about Gazzuz death severally and couldn't fathom why he has to go so early.

Been thinking, what if he had done something differently, but then, the deed has been done. May God rest his soul.

For those that haven't met him in person, they may not understand. I just keep picturing his face, his workshop, his ambitions, etc. But it's well.

We can't rule out living cautiously though. That's why there's variation in life expectancy. The life expectancy in Nigeria differs from that of United States, because there are factors that will shorten your life more than the so called fate we want to hold onto as the determinant of our longevity on earth.

Life happens when we least expect it. But we are glad for his impact and pray we hold it/use to impact our surroundings.

A lesson needs to be learned about the death of Gazzuz. I read he went to deliver a car in Edo State and got involved in an accident on his way back with a public bus.

The question is, why would Gazzuz at his age and level still involve in direct delivery of cars in a far away, Edo?

He was supposed to have boys that do the delivery while he pays the person some fraction of what he charged.

Please, while we hustle for our daily bread, there are things we should overgrow and outsource.

I have experienced something similar, I got a ride on indrive around ogudu, infact, the rider was responding to my call until I got to the pickup, immediately I got there, I clicked arrived and the rider cancel the trip after waiting like 2mins.

Then I saw a car, muscle coming to same spot where I was waiting for the rider and I knew the rider must have canceled coz he ordered on another app and that one is probably cheaper, I've been calling the rider n he's been declining my call, immediately he came out to enter the other car, I just blocked that one and came out from my car, I approached him and told him why did he cancel my ride after making me to drive to him n even waited for some minutes, he wanted to deny and on that spot, I called him and his number rang, I just told him he will pay me 1500 or else, I'm not moving my car. The other stupid driver that was supposed to be in support was just saying oga carry your car kommot for road, I didn't even answer that one coz I know in his mind, he's lucky to be going on the trip. I made sure I collect the 1500 before leaving..

Some riders are just so stupid, I don't think they have conscience to know fuel is expensive now and they will waste someone's time and fuel by ordering 2 rides together

We need to activate this hoodloom behaviour ooo. It's crazy how people will be playing Ludo with another man's business angry

I had a funny experience last Sunday.

I got a trip on Indrive at Opebi going to Maryland Mall. The rider put 2800 but I bid 3400 and she accepted.

When I got to the pickup location, I saw another Corolla with the hazard lights on so I parked facing it.

When the lady passenger came out and entered my car, the driver of the Corolla came to my window and I thought he needed help with his battery or something. He asked if I was heading to Maryland and I said yes, he just opened my door and said we're not going to embark on that trip until the rider pays him the commission Indrive charged him.

He said he accepted the trip at 2800, drove from a far place to that place only for the rider to cancel. The rider frightenly called her father to come out.

When the father came out, behold one grey-headed old man that one punch from that aggressive driver will send rolling head over. The man was telling the driver to stop shouting but he wasn't taking any of that. He said they offended him and brought out the demon in him so he has every reason to shout.

When all efforts to pacify the driver through words proved abortive, the girl agreed to transfer 1k to the driver. According to the girl, the driver sounded aggressive with the tone he used in telling her to come out so she felt unsafe going in his car.

While this was going on, my time was being wasted. When we left and was approaching the Maryland traffic lights, the girl transferred my exact 3400 to me and then told me that the direction has changed. I asked where the new location is and she said Sunmola Street. It happens that the person she was going to see shared his or her location and she was seeing Sunmola Street, and then thought that Sunmola Street is a different location, not knowing that Maryland Mall is in Sunmola Street.

It was then it occurred to me that she didn't send me my money because she wanted to pay on time but because she thought the location has changed and didn't want a reason to add a dime to the fare.

I just helped the other driver to give her a well deserved one star. You don't go about wasting people's time and fuel, even though I can never pull the kind of stunt that driver pulled that day no matter the situation. It was uncalled for and he could have his account blocked if that incident happened on Bolt or Uber with the rider having the transfer receipt as evidence of payment.

Business / Can't Believe I Got This For A Whole 324k by PuZZyNegro: 8:15am On Aug 12
My people, a family member of mine is about to travel abroad for a business and asked that I help her get some dollars.

I needed just $200 dollars.

Guess what? I gave aboki 324k and aboki handed two 100 dollar notes to me.

I just put the notes inside my wallet like nothing happened.

We’re finished

Just park your car keep for house.

Bolt fare is very shitty compared to the reality on ground.

Worst part is that the price is fixed now. This will cause serious problem when work resumes and traffic comes back

If they actually implement this, people wey don chop blocking go miss bolt.

Bolt will never stop. Once a trip is being rejected by a lot of drivers, they will continue to throw the request to any available driver no matter how far away you are.

The screenshot below was yesterday. There were worst / longer pickups that I didn't capture.

Except Bolt wants to tell me that it is okay to drive 6km to pick a ride. That time on Gmap may be 25 minutes or more.

It was that day that the network was bad. Bolt app wasn't working at all but Uber and Indriver were.

Allen Junction is a don't enter zone. If u know u will not cross over don't enter the intersection and stop in no mans land. Many times we drive without knowledge of traffic law.
Although the lastma guys generally try to take advantage of road users, but majority of drivers too are ignorant of traffic laws. When d light is blinking yellow or even if its tail end of the green and u have calculated that traffic is not moving fast and u will stop before u completely cross over to the other side, u are meant to wait and not contribute to obstruction of other road users.

I didn't obstruct traffic. I have passed. The traffic that held me was the traffic down at the convergence for those coming from Allen Avenue turning right towards Obafemi Awolowo due to the activities of commercial drivers. The traffic was the only reason they could hold me, the traffic is not the reason they held me.

@the bold; you fit tell us what led to that?

Much respect, boss.

That Allen traffic lights. The light was blinking when I tried driving through. I was in between when it turned red. I mean, I have already passed but there was traffic just immediately after the traffic lights so I got stuck there when those animals came knocking on my window to wind down.

I told them that I've already passed now but they insisted that I should wind down. I just waited for the traffic in front to clear before I dawned the consequence and drove on top of the spike and went my way.

I would have only spent 4k to fix both tyres but for the fact that I had only one spare tyre.

well. I noticed their surge prices was now fixed, I complained on 3 different trips in one day after seeing how poor it was(even the riders were surprised when they saw how little they had to pay). After few minutes of complaining to uber they replied all my complaints with "you got the right amount for the trip". when I decided enough was enough was when I went to island after they closed the bridge and spent 2hours plus and was asked to collect 7100. As I said, I switched to indrive and so far so good...it might not be the same for everyone, but for me I'm enjoying it. Also, i don't frequent the mechanic workshop like before.

All Uber prices are fixed. That's how I picked a rider on Uber at Ikeja and less than 10 minutes into the trip, Lastma bursted my two tyre with their spike.

I got to a place and stopped and the rider asked me to end the trip that they are in a hurry. I ended the trip and Uber asked the rider to pay 6800 for a trip that lasted 14 minutes, 3.8km. The trip was from Ikeja to VI and I ended it right there at Ikeja and Uber is asking the rider to pay the same amount they would have used to get to VI.

The rider just transferred 2k to me, booked another ride this time on Bolt and left. I made the rider to understand that the fixed price could work against the driver in a situation where there is serious traffic.

I reported to Uber and got my money back.

Bolt is getting so useless this days with their long pickups, they are loosing drivers everyday.

I doubt if they will have upto 1000 drivers left on their platform in Lagos

Maybe we need to start taking screenshots of these useless long pickups and be posting them on social media.

My acceptance rate is currently at 48 percent. Few more rejections to bite the dust.

Bolt still remains the only App that forces drivers to accept trips

My friend said she should just take care of herself, have the baby then she can file. The court will demand he submits to a DNA test, if he refuses, she gets a default judgement.

Since he works with the Lagos State Government, his wages can be garnished and remitted to her.

OP, check your inbox.

I did just 5 trips yesterday and took home 24k. I accepted the last trip of 3100 because I was going home so needed to use it as my destination trip.

Some prices I was seeing yesterday, it will take a high surge on Bolt to get that price

Giving her something and collecting it back cause you separated. Don't give a girl something you would regret giving to her even though both of you are no longer together rather let her use it to remember your kindness and goodness.

Hope the gurus here will give you an idea how to go about it.

I left my other personal belongings with her. The phone contains my information. I didn't collect it as an act of wickedness.

But before then, I have given her notice that I would be collecting the phone because of my information in there.

I guess that was the time they used to install the app that did the dirty job.

I collected the phone yesterday morning. Dropped it in my room and left for work only to come back, connected the phone to my WiFi and the phone just started rebooting and wrote "wiping data"
When the phone restarted, all my information is gone. It was as if I just got a new phone. All the apps are gone. Only the files that didn't wipe out.

All lies to deceive you and swindle bolt of their commission. Port Harcourt drivers see price estimate.

I also believe they get bonuses but I'm not sure. Ksmart027 can confirm

The first driver I booked was asking me for the price estimate that I saw there. He said he wanted to know so he can decide if it's worth the long distance pickup because he was a little farther from my location. I later cancelled that ride and booked another.

You might be right though. Anyone that has driven in Port Harcourt can confirm this.

It's possible. An investigation was done before arriving at that conclusion. Offline trip is risky both for drivers and riders. Let's agree

I just have a feeling these stories are sometimes cooked and peddled by bolt to curb offline trips.

This is common in Port Harcourt. Unlike Lagos, they don't show them the price estimate.

When I went to Port Harcourt and booked Bolt, the driver asked that we do offline for 2500 while the online was 2800.

Nothing like Bonus there. Lagos drivers are enjoying. And the incident of killing riders and drivers is very prevalent there too. The driver that drove me said that about eight Bolt drivers have been killed of recent there. How can people be killing because of ordinary Corolla.

Meanwhile, do we need to create a Twitter thread to stop this thing Bolt is doing. A rider was complaining to me yesterday how a driver that's at Ogba picked her request while she's inside Unilag Estate, Magodo.

I explained to her that it's not the driver's fault but Bolt's. In an attempt to avoid blocking and balance the stats, we pick the request even when we know that it's impossible to carry out the order.

Below is the trip that came just before hers. I accepted it and the rider cancelled immediately.
