Nobody has given you a clearer information on what you need to know regarding this.

Declining a request is an odd against you so you know.

Getting a request while on a trip is normal unless you have closed for the day and don't want to take on any more trips.

You got that request because you were already close to the end of your present trip. You can't have 25 minutes left to get to the rider's destination and still get a trip request.

So next time, just accept the request. If the riders (new) calls you, tell him/her/them that you are on a trip and will soon end it.

Most times, taking the rider already in your car to their destination gets you closer to where the new rider is.

So, it's to your advantage as you don't have to wait at all to get another request. Even if the new request says they can't wait, let them cancel and not you that way, it will not affect your activity score.

You're a girl so don't care much about heavy investments like owning a car or building a house thus the reason you can split your earnings to have over 70k in giveaway (parents, siblings, tithe).

Getting approved upwork account is not a guarantee for anything. Freelance space is already saturated and takes a lot to break through now than it was some years back.

I started freelancing in 2016 and I work mainly on Fiverr. Only managed to get one job on upwork and even after getting a five stars rating from the client, nothing else yet since that time.

I started with writing but ran away when the competition became crazy. So, you're basically in the most competitive niche, you've got to brace up.

I will still advise you to continue to try buyer's request page while you get yourself some reviews.

To succeed in the buyer request, I will recommend you refresh the page every 10 minutes. You need to be among the first 10 to send offer consecutively to stand a better chance.

Try and mix your offers. Sometimes, you can have a pre-written long message that you can paste and submit. In another, just read the request and respond personally to it with not more than two sentences.

Remember, the more time you spend writing your offer, the more other people are sending in theirs.

Reduce your bidding rate. I use paid promotion as well and the ROI has been great. I have also had some not so good experience with it especially when clients who used paid promotion to contact me decide to go to another seller because I was 5 minutes late to respond.

How does paid promotion work please? Can it take take me out of the last page?

Firstly, paid promotion isn't available to all Fiverr accounts. It's still in the beta phase and only available to some selected sellers.

Secondly, I have been using it for over a month now. There's no much profit from it. I received orders worth $300 with a $30 ad spend. Now, when you remove Fiverr's 20% commission plus the $30 ad spend, I'm probably left with about $210 which may seem not to be bad but I think it benefits Fiverr more than it benefits the sellers.

Another problem I have with it is receiving messages from people that will come and be pricing your gig peanuts when your gig prices were clearly written on your page. When you tell them your price, they will stop responding or respond negatively.

The most annoying part of it is receiving messages from Indians and Pakistanis asking you to give them a job if you have any. Remember, you are paying for every click this time.

I haven't had much success with it but my ad is still running anyway.

When a message comes through the ad, it has the "promoted" word on it.

So,I asked what she wanted to do,she mentioned it and I gave her 100k to support her and that was on 5th,March 2021 while j came down thinking of how to complete my house,I got a call from her asking for another 50k to augment her business.

I maintained my calmn and turned the phone to the speaker and my wife heard everything she said and became angered just for that fact that i denied myself of things worth 100k yet she still came for more. Fact is ,this same woman has children of my age and the last born is about 28years of age.

My reply to her was that,I will call her the next day and I will never call her again,because so far I have given the sum of 100k 4years ago,50k 2years ago,and this year 100k all because she is my mums sister. Let her own children also give to my mum.

That is the problem most givers are facing in this country.

I have much more similar experience to share but for the hypocritical nature of people on here.
