After the party is the hotel lobby thats what i used to hear while growing up as a Hip-Hop fan but for this YBNL rapper, this saying doesnt hold steam, not even after his performance at D'banj's DKM album launch. The one time young erikina was on monday,a live radio guest on Star fm programme "Celebraty Interview" hosted by popular DJs,Dj Shy shy shilon and Dj Boombastic. Here's an exercept of what went down Djs: whats up wtth the "Durosoke" track that has taken the airwaves and becomes street national anthem? Badoo: durosoke is an art of creativity thing,an out-of-box kind of track which was suppose to drop in july before itt leaked, but thank God for the responses my fans are giving me Djs: looking back now, what keeps u going? Badoo: its the grace of God,i always try to envision the future but the fear of poverty considering my background, jus cant make me stop....ah,i dont want to be poor. Djs: where are u from and any collabo soon? Badoo: am from Ijebu Itele,Ogun state,no more collabo 4nw,i want to do my own thing as well as the artistes under my label...just staying focus. Djs: can u tell ur fans ur real name Badoo: my name is olamide Adedeji...thats all(laughs) Djs: when precisely did u started ur musical career Badoo: i started in 2000 with a group of 3boys,2yrs after we broke-up,then i used to sing, some thought i cudnt sing cos of my voice isnt gud 4singing,so i make sure i do all my chorus myself. Djs: your mentor and kind of music u like? Badoo: i get plenty people i listen to *sighs*different people cos i do different thing.basically,i listen to Hip-Hop music,no artiste in particulari can decide to listen to jaay z for a whole weeek, den nas for months, little wayne, eminem andd here ruggedman,sultan,nomoloss...lots of other artistes Djs: your best food? Badoo: aaahhhh,it used to be bread and beans oooo,u understand but now i just eat anything that comes my way maybe because after performing, one just av to eat n relax. Djs: after several names like holla baby, young erikina, ilefo illuminati, how did u come about Badoo,baddest-guy-ever-liveth? Badoo: i dnt know o,i guess it was in the studio while recording,i just started calling badoo!!!.... Dj (cuts in): kind of woman u like, ladies that attract u? Badoo: a woman/lady who doesnt flaunt sexiness,moderate,calm...mmmhhh.... Djs(cut in): we mean shape,size...Olamide as a badoo na Badoo sings) she carry front, she carry back....Djs: tell us about stupdi love Badoo: Sam clef did that beat for a real track, but we were having and got drunk while in d studio recording,we couldnt hold it so i just did freestyle. Djs: and thee OTIS track Badoo: that one,smiles...i felt like doing the rap i've been known with cos i think i've that line for a long time. Djs: your favourite track? Badoo: i really cant pick one but i must,it has to be "street luv" in the YBNL album. Djs: whats up with the D'banj sign,is it real or speculations?Badest-guy be sincere o Badoo: thats whats it is...speculations (sings) The baddest guy nicknamed his teeming fans as "baddest guy eva calleth",baddest guy eva shyeth, baddest lady eva wanteth and guess what? he blew a female fan a kiss and sent pix on d radio....how is that possible,u ask? thats why he's a badooo. He appreciated every of his fans for their continuous support, then asked Osun state residents to prepare for on tuesday(yesterday). Olamide came in company of Buckwyde, victor and the youngest africa artiste,Ozzybosco who also came with his mother |

Can this story be true?if yes,I think he should be thought the lesson he will neva 4get... According to information gathered from good authorities, Popular Yoruba actor and Glo brand ambassador, Odunlade Adekola, as he acted in ‘Sunday Dagboru’, recently threw caution into the air when he and his thugs allegedly beat up and eventually detained some students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY),Abeokuta, Ogun State. We scooped that the incident, which happened on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at about 8pm, around Adigbe area of the city, psychologically destroyed the affected students who were before then preparing for their exams on Monday. Investigation by Naijapals.com indicates that not only four students were mercilessly beaten by the popular actor, a civil defence officer was also pounced on by Odun and his thugs who he ordered to ruthlessly deal with. He also ordered the beating of the students for daring to talk when he was talking. Trouble reportedly started on Sunday when the students protested that Odun and his crew; Fausat Balogun, Ebun Oloyede known as Olaiya Igwe and some others, to put-off a ‘noisy’ generator because it was disturbing their reading for an exam the next day. Odun then reportedly told the students, whose building was next to where Odun and his crew were using for a movie shoot, to dare talk again and get a bitter reward for that. He also allegedly threatened to deal with anyone who violates his order. Not intimidated by Odun’s order, the students insisted the generator must be put-off because it was constituting a nuisance to them. But rather than be a gentleman, Odun allegedly ordered his thugs to beat life out of the ‘defiant’ students. Even a civil defence officer, who reportedly tried to restore peace, was not left out of Odun’s ‘largesse’ as he was beaten black and blue by Odun. At about 10pm on Sunday, some police from Adigbe Police Station allegedly arrested the students after Odun had begged them to teach the students a lesson for dis-obeying the ‘orders of a popular movie star’. They were later released after landlords association of the area intervened. As we now hear, Odun and the students have been summoned for a meeting by the landlords body on Saturday. Effort by Naijapals.com to get Odun to react to the allegations were frustrated by him as he didn’t pick our calls or reply to our text message sent to him on the matter. Some of the students in the area confirmed the story to Naijapals.com. They said it was not the first time Odun was involving in such a shameful act. “He keeps saying none of us can attain the heights he has reached,” one of the aggrieved students told Naijapals.com. Our investigation is still ongoing as we promise to bring report of the meeting with the landlords. Save mapoly students....this is unbecoming of our so-callled star (everyday u hear movies/music stars abuse students...davido slaps dis, tonto dike harrassed d@. Odun is a well popular and accepted actor in d nolloywood film industry esp amongst d students in Abeokuta where he resides. |

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday insisted it has not gagged public officials from speaking to the press but has only put in place a structured channel of information flow that will ensure that only adequate and credible information is disseminated. The State Government's position was amplified by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Ibirogba during a Press Conference he addressed at the Conference Room of the Ministry at the Alausa Secretariat alongside the Special Advisers on Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Raji and Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello. Speaking against the background of a state circular issued to the effect that all public officials must obtain the concurrence of the Ministry of Information and Strategy before issuing press releases or granting interviews, Mr. Ibirogba clarified that the state government has not stopped the members of the State Executive Council or senior government functionaries from speaking to the press. He cited the example of the media briefing on the breakdown of the year 2013 budget on Tuesday by the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Ben Akabueze, saying if the intention was to gag public officials from speaking with the press, Mr. Akabueze would not have been able to address the press. He explained that those making issues out of the move are only twisting the facts, stressing that in terms of schedule of responsibilities, the Ministry of Information and Strategy is the Ministry specifically saddled with the task of disseminating information on behalf of the government. He added that in line with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) the arrangement put in place will ensure that the people have access to only factual and credible information. Mr. Ibirogba added that for whatever information anyone sought about the activities of the State Government, such a person could contact the Ministry of Information and Strategy, which can then direct him or her on the right sources of such information if it could not be provided directly. The Commissioner said Lagos has always been at the forefront of open and transparent governance aided by regular dissemination of information to the public adding that it never believed in hoarding information. He contended that the present administration in Lagos has nothing to hide, and this explains why it is the only government within the federation that comes before its people every 100 days to render an account of stewardship. He added that the Fashola administration is also the only administration that publishes contact details of all government officials both political and public servants as well as security and emergency agencies whilst it also gives regular updates about performances of the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies onpublicized websites. He informed that the state also holds regular stakeholders Town Hall Meetings on security, transportation, taxation and health among other things with a view to making the government more interactive with the people. The Information Commissioner also stated that the State Governor regularly established direct contact with the populace by leading members of his Cabinet round project sites and to meet with the host Communities of such projects with a view to obtaining from the people a first-hand assessment of how funds appropriated is being spent and its impact on the citizenry. He commended members of the media for their cooperation with the State Government in terms of giving positive projections to the activities of the State, saying members of the Information management team cannot claim to have solely accounted for the success of the administration in terms of information dissemination. |

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, described Imo State Governor,Rochas Okorocha,as a “failure.” Obasanjo said this just as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, likened the current crisis rocking the ruling party as a “surgery” which must bring some pain to members. Obasanjo who was responding to guests who spoke during the grand finale of a civic reception organised in his honour by the South West Zone of the PDP said there was no way he could associate with Okorocha who had jokingly referred to the former President as his “colleague.” Okorocha, a governor on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance had defected from the PDP to the All Nigeria Peoples Party where he contested for the presidential ticket of the party in 2003 but failed to secure it. The Imo governor had earlier in his speech talked about his days as Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs to Obasanjo, saying he gave the ex-President advice that resulted in the good decisions that Obasanjo took while in office. The Imo governor said, “Obasanjo is indeed PDP. But in the actual sense, he’s a national leader. He does not belong to the PDP alone but a national leader of Nigeria. If I have another opportunity to advise him, I will tell him to be the national leader of the country and not the national leader of the party. “We are here to give honour to whom honour is due. Obasanjo will remain immovable and unshakable. He is a man that is very difficult to describe. He represents different things to different people. But for me, he represents a former colleague. We both ran for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And later when he appointed me as his adviser, I gave him all the good advice. “All the good things he did for those eight years, I advised him but all the bad ones he did, I travelled out of the country. I want to join Nigerians to celebrate this icon — this great and steadfast Nigerian, who is not afraid of fighting any battle. But when he starts fighting he doesn’t stop until he finishes fighting. He’s a general’s general and a soldier’s soldier.” But the Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio, in his message immediately came to Obasanjo’s defence and told Okorocha that, “I was not as lucky as Governor Okorocha to work with him Obasanjo. So I did not give him advice. I’m very sure that even the few things that he did were actually taken out of the bad advice of APGA where Rochas Okorocha must have represented. Baba, I say the good ones are from you, not from him (Okorocha).” In his reaction, the former president said he could not be a colleague to Okorocha. He said, “I met Okorocha a long ago by virtue of the fact that he was brought up in Jos — one of the few cities that I found in the fifties and seventies as a genuine melting pot in Nigeria. He is a true Nigerian and when he wants to pull me down, he will say we are colleagues. How can I be a colleague of a failure? You are a failure in contesting the presidency of Nigeria!” Tukur in his speech said the crisis-ridden PDP was undergoing a surgery in which pains must be felt for the ruling party to get over its current unhealthy state. He said, “Let us fight and win unity, peace, development for our dear nation. The surgery we have started in our party, the PDP is in line with our vision for a better society and the aspiration of all Nigerians. In this surgery we are aware we must lose some blood, undergo some pains and challenges but surely the result will eventually be one sacrifice that we made for ourselves.” Vice-President Namadi Sambo who used the occasion to talk about the achievements of the Jonathan-led administration, described Obasanjo as a true nationalist. www.punchng.com/news/youre-a-failure-obasanjo-tells-okorocha/ |

I self taught myself how to read/study stocks after my sec. sch,but wen i got admitted to sch,i jus left everything idle without looking(and ofcourse,i lost my money) so as to face academic proper, its nw 6-7yrs after. My worry nw is where to start again bt its nt too late anyway. For d CSCS,how much is d official charges/annual subscription, can u prescribe which of the stockbroking firms offer better services @ affordable rate for a young client like me. Reason is,i nid 2b equipped with the events of past 6yrs and present ones b4 i approach a broker in order to reduce cost and avoid being exploited. |
