FlirtyKaren: Everyone has dreams, goals, aspiration. But what do you do, guys, when the person you are dating has desire but never really does anything about it?
Let's say you've been dating a guy, ladies. He's perfect. He looks great, the sex is great, you get along perfectly but there's only one problem, he isn't doing much with his life. He has tons of aspirations and dreams but when it comes to getting up and achieving them dreams, it's a different story. He believes that one day he's going to make it,but it's clear to see that the drive isn't there. How long do you stay before you give up on him? Do you immediately assume that he's never going to amount to anything and cut him off immediately? Or would you stick with him and hope that he gets his act together? Would you help him get his act together? Should you help him get his act together?
http://www.lailasblog.com/2014/12/how-long-should-woman-wait-for-man-to.html#sthash.dnrdtIQD.dpuf I didnt hear you say you have pointed it out to him or talked to him about it? communications first is very critical b4 you jump away thinking whoever you are jumping to doesnt have something else that may be worse. |

If GMB is the closest alternative to GEJ I say bring him on and if he fails like GEJ did all those naming and shaming will be passed over to GMB and we keeping trying our luck till we get things right. Is that not the beauty of democracy? GMB should better be careful with his campaign promises cos everything he says will be used against him. y are u raking? do you have more than one vote of your own? leave story bros |

balash: Lol well to be frank is this the way to ask an unbeliever to embrace jesus and quit evil ways? U want to convert a son and u telling him to his face that his father is going to hell?? How are u sure u going to heaven yourself regardless of the fact that u a pastor?
Talk warmly with an unbeliever and they would be pleased to embrace a new faith, but act like an and your formal church would be a car park for them. Jesus never talked rudely to an unbeliever to embrace the lord.
You can't. publicly insult someone father publicly and u expect him to love u, no matter what the case may be, be warm in your speech when preaching and u will touch lives, am a muslim and I can't deny some alfa don't also preach in a vulgar way or thereabout. Religgion is something sacred, its not because u know bible or quran then u have to bring out P.A system and disturbb my peace, first learn how to speak respectably and warm then I will be pleased to listen.. If this page was to be a court of law then you would have been the dumbest judge on earth. So you heard from seun alone and you concluded that was how they approached him? God can never be mocked, for whatever a man sows he shall reap. seed time and harvest time is sure. He is thinking he has won right,if he doesn't repent we will watch and see how he ends up. |

Arbiola: Hello nairalanders, I came up with dis thread to know who we all want as our president. As for me i'll choose any oda person but definitely not GEJ because GEJ has offered nothing good to dis country.Who will u choose. Unfortunately whoever wins here doesn't mean the person will win in real life bc nairaland does not constitute even 0.0001% of the voting population of Nigeria. However, since its something we just have to use to while away time and say our minds, i will say GEj all the way. Take not that there are several reasons GEJ will carry the day not because he is the best product Nigeria as a whole has but in comparison to GMB, GEJ is a better material on some grounds, e.g Buhari seems to be coming with military indiscipline mentality to a democratic system, nation and people it will not work again if it worked before bc there are laws and rules to also control him except he decides to be lawless which will defeat one of the basic tenets of good leadership people will expect from him, secondly, he seems to be fighting to get the power by all cost not because he actually has a plan to deliver results and make a difference or even understand practically what the problems of Nigeria are(example, he said he will stabilize petrol prize).Another example the problem of Nigeria is way beyond boko haram bc other problems precipitated boko haram which will need to be tackled before boko haram will be fixed. Also, buhari may spend energy victimizing past or present offenders of crime leaving behind the main agenda of delivering the dividends of good leadership to the people e.g, building hospitals, schools, creating jobs, fighting boko haram etc. I can go on and on, but you see GEJ already is inside, fighting from the inside, he understands where what is happening is happening right now he needs more time to fix things. Write it down that even if by any means you have change of govt through 2015 election at federal level the new president after grabbing the position will address the nation and what you will hear will be something like this" great people of nigeria, there is enormous task ahead of us all, but we are not deterred as we assure you we will deliver but we need sometime as we are not magician but together with your support we will get there" What have you deduced from such a statement, ?"We need time" We are not Magicians" the same time GEJ needs to finish work. Buhari is not a magician so dont be deceived that if he wins things will change in 4yrs. Anyway, I see GEj wining 2015. My understanding, criticise my points objectively but dont crucify me, bring yours to the page lets see your reasoning. |

adeoladele: BREAKING NEWS: Muhammed Buhari Wins APC Presidential Primary 0 By NewsPunch on December 11, 2014 Announcement, Breaking News, Home, News, Politics, Report
Though, sorting is still ongoing at the national convention of All Progressives Congress, APC, but the obvious unofficial results from the sorting of votes have clearly signified the former Head of States, Maj. Gen. Muhammed Buhari (RTD) has already won the primary election.
The echo and resounding of the name, Muhammed Buhari by electoral committee sorting the votes signifies the ‘Peoples General’ as Buhari is fondly called has carried day.
Out of the total votes sorted so far, Buhari has earned to his sorting box over 90% of total vote sorted. A marging none of the co-aspirants can cover even with the remaining votes unsorted
Close to Buhari in the second place is the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and Imo State Governor, Rochas Owelle Okorocha are struggling neck to neck in the third and forth place, while Leadership Publisher, Sam Ndah had just one vote so far.
With Buhari’s emergence, despite yesterday’s dollarization of the the process by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, it is obvious, Nigerians are really ready to shun corrupt practices and follow their conscience in their quest for a true change of Nigeria State.
Former Vice Atiku Abubakar had yesterday stormed the convention ground with pocket full of United States dollars, offering each delegates $2,000 to $5,000 in exchange for their votes.
Nigeria is indeed hungry for change. The race to Aso Rock com 2015 now between the incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan and Gen. Muhammed Buhari. are you not watching the tv? they are still counting, until the count and declare officially, your talk is mare speculations. am watching it now live even though buhari is carrying more votes but it has to be officially announced first.Stop being childish. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan Is In Possession Of My Presidential Form- Abiola's Wife Alleges by qtx(m): 11:21am On Dec 10, 2014 |
berem: As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention begins today, one of the presidential aspirants, Prof. Akasoba Duke Abiola, has alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan is using her presidential nomination form which pre-qualified him for the convention. Abiola, who is one of the PDP presidential aspirants, had insisted that she would not abide by the decision of the party to endorse Jonathan as its sole candidates. Although she has gone to court to challenge the decision of the party, Akasoba explained this while addressing journalists on Tuesday that even after paying her N2 million nomination form and also being the first aspirant to pay for the presidential form, the party has denied her the form. She described the action of the party against her and millions of voters as discriminatory and a coup d’etat against democracy. “It is an abrogation of the constitution, a flagrant violation of fundamental human rights and contrary to all international protocols and conventions to which Nigeria is a signatory including the United Nations Charter. Succinctly put, this is a clear case of political violence against women. This has become a global conversation as the endorsement of one aspirant cannot metamorphose into the trampling on the fundamental right. “In the interest of integrity, transparency and accountability, we submit that form 001 should have been given to me, since I was the first to pay and the first to arrive the party secretariat for the form,” she said. Prof. Abiola pointed out that she has been excluded from the party convention, even as a presidential aspirant. Accusing Jonathan of being in possession of her presidential form, she said: “It is my submission that the party should give me my form. Someone got my nomination form and that person is in Aso Rock and he should give me my form.” She added that “if there is any ratification at the convention today for any person that person will be standing in for me. “ The president is intimidating us, let Nigeria tell that person, the president to give me my nomination form. I am not scared of them and nobody will settle me, I am not for settling. Jonathan should give me my form and if he does not, he is depriving me of my right. If there is any ratification at the convention, Jonathan is poaching my delegates.”

Education › Re: Nigerian Students Rated Tops In U.S., UK Universities by qtx(m): 4:08pm On Dec 09, 2014 |
lalasticlala: London – Beneficiaries of the Presidential Scholarship Scheme studying in the U.S. and UK have been rated among top grades by their various universities.
It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan in 2012, established the scholarship scheme for innovation and development in order to further the education of students with first class degrees to 25 top rated universities in the world.
Prof. Julius Okojie, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission said during an interactive session with the students in London, said he was glad that the scheme has taken -off.
” The American system has a 4 point maximum scale, most of our students are on 3.8 or 4 points which is very outstanding, and no student has failed to transit from Masters to PhD, this is also a good record. ” It means that this scheme itself shows that the quality of our product is good,”he said.
Okojie who also doubles as the Chairman of the Scheme, said that the performance of the students were being monitored on a regular basis” we monitor them and get reports from their supervisors.”
According go him no student has dropped out of the programme since it began, noting that such scheme is one of the administration’s best scholarship programmes.
While addressing concerns of delayed allowances and entitlements raised by the students, Okojie said that the issue was being addressed by a new project implementation strategy committee. He tasked the student on the need to return home upon completion of their studies” you are the next generation , on completion of your courses you are expected back to the country”.
” You are all expected to return back home to contribute to nation building by bringing innovations that will drive the economy,” Okojie told the students.
Also speaking, Kunle Gbamgbose, Deputy High Commissioner to the UK urged the students to continue to strive for excellence in their studies.
” You are Nigeria’s testimony, you have done well to have been selected, it is time to make the nation proud. your success will determine the continuity of the Programme.”
He said that most developed nations invested in their people and that was what Nigeria was emulating in building the capacity of the students .
” In spite of the challenges in the country, Nigeria is the only place where you can be honoured, there is the need for you to give back to the society upon graduation,” he said.
Some of the students who spoke expressed gratitude for the opportunity to further their education and promised to return home after their studies. Beneficiaries of the scheme in the UK are studying various courses in five universities namely the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge , Edingburg and the University College London as well as Imperial College.(NAN).
