okosodo:As rain fall reach for Benin?Na wa o. |
I pay 10k in lump sum a year for electricity alongside my rent. The caretaker of my self con apartment handles d payment.Nothing like "aunty, this month bill na 15000, your own wen we share reach you na 1500."I no even know whether na prepaid we dey use or not,i just dey use d light anyhow.Plus light is good in my area, had to buy electric cooker + kettle to reduce usage of my gas. |
Pidggin:Some nairalanders eh,dem dey do like who their brain go on sabbatical leave their head empty. He could not comment and go o,he had to post pictures of his twins.God help some people o. |
Take heart,God knows best..His ways are not our ways.Congrats on your wife's safe delivery. You will definitely have more beautiful kids by God's grace. |
Jethrolite:lol@"fast and forget towel inside people"..abeg,leave d boy..Lwkmd |
humilitypays:Very true o..Maybe he had a good homely girl that was loving him,but he was officially blind to them..God is his strength!Yes...come for d zobo,i fit afford am! |
humilitypays:You deserve One bottle of whatever you drink!!Bill's on me...U over nailed it!If he were my cousin or family member, there is no way he would have married a girl who left him not once o,twice! |
nameerfhtennek:Do send me a pm,and i am a lady. |
legalgoon:Thanks,i am humbled my learned colleague. |
Prince16:God bless you for bringing this out...I have been in court twice when her case came up,she didn't look remorseful at all.I am sure its yet to hit her that she is a lawyer on trial for killing her husband.A colleague that knows her very well was saying the abuse started from the time they were dating...She was fond of dragging and tearing his clothes and all sorts.Afterwards she would beg him for forgiveness.Na leaf wen dey sweet goat dey finally kill am! Those saying forgive would be the same persons to ask why he didn't leave if anything happens to him(God forbid).A woman that would do that has no respect for the man or her marriage. All of you saying she wanted attention, have you asked yourselves why she couldn't go about getting it in a better way?Abi her way of communication na to spit on her husband?I am not married but have done way too many divorces to know a marriage headed for the rocks when i see one.A major key to making marriage work is constant communication about your feelings, speaking up to get the changes you need.Nobody has the gift of prophesy and so a man/woman has to be forthwith with information that would better his/her relationship with their partner. The moment someone resorts to using swear words and saying negative things about your past or upbringing to insult you ,they might as well start filing for divorce because the marriage is as good as over.Respect is a basic sign of love. You cannot say you love someone and say things you know would really hurt them.Thats why i tell people love is not enough to get married.Find someone you are attracted to,that respects you, that's willing to partner with u (more like a business) to make the marriage work.Shikena! |
Bros sorry o,a woman that can look you in the face and say all that, then spit on you has no respect for you as her husband and for the marriage. No matter what, spitting on someone, let alone a spouse speaks volumes! In fact,i advice you guys should go your separate ways, una two don tire! The fact that you opened this thread asking whether to send her back to Nigeria shows that your mind is made up and you have emotionally checked out of the marriage.Again,I don't pity you..yes,I don't! You mentioned the fact that she left you twice, yet you still mumu carry leg go beg her, marry her...I advice you arrange for her deportation,l asap. When she gets home and realizes that she had it easy abroad, dem no go tell her two times! If you still want her back,by then i am sure she would have been humbled by small hardship and the stigma of being sent out of her matrimonial home! Finally,if you decide to continue,i pray she doesn't try to run you over with a car on purpose to kill you and blame it on anger. This happened to my close friend and as i speak, the marriage is over! Read about it here- https://www.nairaland.com/3142433/why-one-must-never-marry |
truthsayer007:Good,so its better to first of all ask for clarification ,before casting aspersions on the personality of someone you know nothing about. Its a forum and we are all entitled to our diverse opinions. No hard feelings though.Enjoy the rest of your evening. |
JuanDeDios:I am not a feminist.I believe a man should be the head of a home and he has specific responsibilities towards his woman.Even my younger brother while he was in secondary school used to save his break money to buy his class girlfriend novels as a gift. The girl reciprocates moat times by buying him snacks for break and other small stuff.Love is give and take.If you are broke, work hard till you van afford to do little stuff for a woman, even if its 100 naira card, she would know you are meeting a need in her life.I really pity the crop of men we have around sha!If they give them chance, they would ask a lady to pay her own bride price so they can marry her free of charge. Its common sense that if you take ur girl to the movies, you should pay d 1k for movie ticket, even if she reaches for her wallet. No woman enjoys spending her money on small things her man can afford, that's a fact!! Those that do end up being tagged as controlling and trying to emasculate the man. When tiwa savage's saga went down, very few applauded her for being the breadwinner, rather she was blamed for encouraging teebillz to be a lazy man. I am done with this issue abeg, for those who want o quote me,save your breath and energy.. I am out of here.Let me leave the trash for lawma. |
Boss13 truthsayer007 lastpage KevinDein EdoBoy90 and others to come.Let me clarify a few things.A woman works..yeah,but it's the duty of a guy who is dating her to pick up some little bills occasionally. We are Africans,as much as a guy wud expect a girl to cook for him or help with chores when she visits,he should be in a position to do little nice things for her.I used that guy as an example because his actions showed that clearly he saw the fact that i work as an avenue to hold back his money even on dates he invited me to.I can feed myself,i pay my bills, everything in my house was gotten with my own money i earn from my job.So i don't belong to the class of women who wait for a man to bring momey before they can feed. There is a reason a man marries a woman.Nigerian men are slowly degenerating into gigolos and gold diggers. No woman is turning anyone into ATM.As a man,you should have the sense to do little things for a lady you are dating.Period!I am not a feminist,i believe a man should pay for a date he invited me to,i would never reach for my wallet except its a treat from me to him.So i wont apologize for my views!A man is wired to be a provider, that's why God didn't give men the duty of carrying a pregnancy for 9 months till delivery.Women only work nowadays due to civilization and educational advancements,it doesn't mean we are now men by virtue of that.A woman is meant to be a help meet ,emphasis on the word "HELP",not the breadwinner or sole provider. You guys should man up and stop looking for an easy way out.A man who is dating a lady and cannot do some nice things for her once in a while(not because he cannot afford to)but refuses to because she can afford to has a very long way to go...Times are hard,so i know d comments are borne from hunger and frustration. Please channel your anger into bettering yourselves! |
Please most guys are worse money mongers than ladies now. When many are looking for a woman that would their bills.I am not supportive of lazy women, but men..try and work hard!I met a guy recently and he was like "i thank God u are working class o,u wont be disturbing me for money". Bottomline,he clearly wanted to enjoy d privileges of dating without picking up some small bills occasionally. My point is,who no like better thing?Men and women alike, learn to work for your own money to avoid insult. |
wow!The guy is really cold! |
How are they sure one randy policeman is not having sssex with her already? |
Just need mature working class male and female friends to talk to..pm me. |
ANENEANDASSOC:quote author=ANENEANDASSOC post=49213521] "Deed of assignment is mere paper not backed by law .But Power of attorney is a legal document transferring ownership of property from one party to another. it is signed, sealed and stamped and entered .It is very essential when processing your certificate of occupancy ."WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!Abeg,i didn't know they now give honorary call to the Nigerian bar to estate surveyors.@Op,i really pity prospective property owners like you.Stay there and look for free legal advice on Nairaland, you would be misled if you are not careful! |
blaise00700:I am telling you.A colleague tried to recruit me,I didn't even answer him!I found out a lot after researching the whole thing.According to Wikipedia,МММ was a Russian company that perpetrated one of the world's largest Ponzi schemes of all time, in the 1990s. By different estimates, from 5 to 40 million people lost up to $10 billion. The exact figures are not known even to the founders.MMM itself owed between 100 billion and 3 trillion rubles to the investors (from USD 50 million to USD 1.5 billion). In the aftermath at least 50 investors, having lost all of their money, committed suicide. MMM declared bankruptcy on September 22, 1997.With the help of a distant relative he started Stock Generation Ltd., another pyramid scheme based around trading non-existent companies' stocks in a form of the "stock exchange game" on the company's site, stockgeneration.com. Despite a bold-letter warning on the main page that the site was not a real stock exchange, between 20,000 and 275,000 people, according to various estimates, fell for the promised 200% returns and lost their money. According to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission , losses of victims were at least USD 5.5 million. Mavrodi was found and arrested in 2003. While in custody, Mavrodi was given until January 31, 2006 to read the documents in his fraud case against him (The criminal case consisted of 650 volumes, each 250-270 pages long). At the end of April 2007, Mavrodi was convicted of fraud, and given a sentence of four and a half years. Since he had already spent over four years in custody, he was released less than a month later, on May 22, 2007. He later went on to creating yet another pyramid scheme called MMM-2011 . 2015 MMM began operating in South Africa with the same business model as MMM-2011, claiming a "30% per month" return through a "social financial network". [3] The group was identified as a possible pyramid scheme by the National Consumer Commission and accounts of clients were later frozen by Capitec Bank .In response to mounting criticism and official investigations by state authorities in 2016 supporters of the South African MMM scheme staged a protest march in Johannesburg. In 2016, MMM launched a website targeting the Nigerian audience. In January 2016 the Chinese government banned MMM on the grounds that it is a pyramid scheme, (Ponzi scheme), and it is not registered in the country (and as a fraudulent scheme cannot be registered).. A word is enough for the wise o..No one would say he wasn't warned. Its so sad that the allure of quick money has taken over the minds of many involved, to the point where they cannot carry out a simple research to enlighten themselves on the well-known fact that that the founder of the mmm scheme is a big con artist! |
I concur. |
"Am sorry., i dont think i can make it...... Haa,you better make it ni oo...i shouted angrily at her... ' If you dont make it today ,you cant make it in life again"..The above cracked me up real bad @ClassCaptain.U no well sha lol..Nice one by the way! This should be on frontpage.Maybe you should add snake or boobs to the title. |
And they had to take photographs of her holding a matchete? What ever happened to the presumption of innocence. The picture in itself already potrays culpability on her part. |
Let her calm down, whether you make a first class doesn't guarantee a good job.I made a 2.1 and i dont earn up to 100k.The reality on ground is that certificates are no more appreciated in Nigeria.Where are d jobs?Let her save her funny behaviour and brace up for the job search ahead biko. |
In times like this,i am in full support of jungle justice..Damn!Who raised him?We need a stronger law against paedophilia, more like death by electrocution. The child's parents(if they are still alive) are taking this too easy. What happened to kidnapping him, make sure u get ruthless cultists to tie him up very well .Clip off his fingers with pliers one after the other.Next use pliers to pluck out every single tooth in his mouth.Lastly, cut his useless di.ck in 6 pieces, then release him..Even if they end up in jail, they got justice! |
chuksisaac:Your head is there! Totally love jhene aiko's 'wading ', 'spotless mind' and her latest post-divorce single 'new balance'.I wonder what the world would be without great music..And BTW i am shocked 'angel' is your favourite..I mean there's wicked games, the knowing, dark times,as you are and other amazing the weeknd hits.Well i don't have a favorite, that would be really hard considering that i love all his 50+ songs on my musicplayer. |
Pastor wen dey wait my tithe and offering go wait tay ooo.Instead,i give it to disabled beggars and the needy. No be my money pastor go gather take buy g-wagon,and i still dey trek! |
KingRex1:Uhmmmm...let me not talk..Infact,i'd advice he doesn't follow me o.Tears may start rolling down my eyes when the weeknd hits those high notes he is famous for. There are some of his songs i listen to and i get goosebumps!I can't even begin to imagine how i would react to seeing him perform live. |
KingRex1:That's sad,for a music freak like myself this obsession has lasted 2 whole years. That shows i ain't getting over it anytime soon, EXCEPT his next album due for release in 2017 turns out to be crap(and i really hope its not). |
I dared my colleague to listen to the weeknd's "beauty behind the madness" album, and if he didn't love at least 7 songs,i would pay him 5k..He loved 10 out of the 14 tracks ****doing the victory dance*.My 'The weeknd' obsession is paying off big time!To answer the question,my current music obsession is obviously the weeknd. The dude is pure magic, and i admit i am super obsessed with his music.I have close to 50 of his tracks (he is serious business o!) Recently, the Weeknd set two Guinness World Records for his 2015 album-Beauty Behind The Madness. He currently holds the world record for the most streamed album on Spotify in one year. It was listened to by 60 million unique listeners between December 1 2014 and December 1 2015, with lead single, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ notching up 448,334,867 streams by January 13 2016. He also set the world record for the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 by a solo male artist. A raft of singles, including ‘Earned It’, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ and ‘The Hills’, cemented his place in the top 10 of the US singles chart for 45 consecutive weeks between March 7 2015 and January 9 2016. I love the fact that he is a bit of an enigma, lives a reclusive lifestyle.. His humility is something our Nigerian celebs have to learn a thing or two from. For someone who was presented with 2 Guinness world records awards and won 8 billboard music awards for 2016,he didn't even put a picture of it up on his instagram account. If it were some people now,we wont hear word.lol..Need i say more? Its obvious that my obsession for the weeknd is a valid one. Another artist i am obsessed with is Rebecca Ferguson.Watch out,she could run adele out of business someday.I love "Nothing's real but love, backtrack, freedom, all that i've got ,i hope and her most recent single -bones". Nairalanders,What's your current music obsession and why?
