register Tanikwa and Shanikwa ooo.

My brother the thing is paining me too much.
I no go lie
A few months ago they gave me a raise at work.
They said there was a freeze on spending so those who did get raises got between 1- 2% raise.
Yours truly got a 1.5% raise
What is 1.5% when my daycare bill went up by 20%, gas bill over 100% not to talk of food and everything else.
I am mad .
Nobody should vote for that McBush.
I am going to register at the democratic party and volunteer my time
If I have to carry placards and stand on street corners on Nov 4th, it's the least I could do to help stop these people.
Foreign Affairs / Re: November 4th - Obama Or Mccain? by Queenisha: 12:33am On Sep 06, 2008
I can teach my children dignity,Christian values and whatever republicans say they're fighting for.
I have always been Republican but this time Obama has my vote.
I happen to be part of that much talked about middle class in America.
I will not vote for a group that intends of spending billions of my tax money on a war that we should not have been in right from the beginning.
What are the consequences of the war ?
The economy has taken a nosedive
Do you know how much I've lost in my 401k and investments?
Do you know how much I pay in food and gas?
Everything has increased but my salary.
Do you know how many Americans are out of work and suffering because of George Bush and  John McBush ?
Anyone who has watched a booming economy go downhill will have to be nuts to vote for 4 years of a man who has been on the same side with George W 90% of the time.

I've confirmed the fact that I'm registered to vote and come rain, snow or shine, I will be there on November 4th casting my vote even if I have to call off work to be there.

DeepZone:

Is islam against incest? If yes, why do they marry their relatives according to the islamic custom and tradition?

Incest (noun 1. sexual intercourse between closely related persons), is permitted in Islam to a large extent.
That's why Muslim countries have some of the highest levels of congenital birth defects.
Result of inbreeding.

A government minister has warned that inbreeding among immigrants is causing a surge in birth defects - comments likely to spark a new row over the place of Muslims in British society.

Phil Woolas, an environment minister, said the culture of arranged marriages between first cousins was the “elephant in the room”. Woolas, a former race relations minister, said: “If you have a child with your cousin the likelihood is there’ll be a genetic problem.”

The minister, whose views were supported by medical experts this weekend, said: “The issue we need to debate is first cousin marriages, whereby a lot of arranged marriages are with first cousins, and that produces lots of genetic problems in terms of disability [in children].”

Woolas emphasised the practice did not extend to all Muslim communities but was confined mainly to families originating from rural Pakistan. However, up to half of all marriages within these communities are estimated to involve first cousins.

Medical research suggests that while British Pakistanis are responsible for 3% of all births, they account for one in three British children born with genetic illnesses.

and we wonder why almajiris and Islamists are a menace to society?

Islam for Muslims / Re: Incest And Islam by Queenisha: 4:10am On Sep 05, 2008
15. All the relations which become harâm on account of lineage also become harâm on account of
breast-feeding. In other words, if a girl is breast-fed by a particular woman, then this girl
cannot marry the latter's husband because he will now be regarded as her father. A girl who has been
breast-fed by a particular woman cannot marry a boy who has been breast-fed by the same woman. Nor can this girl marry the children of this woman because she is also regarded as a child of this woman. All the maternal and paternal uncles and maternal and paternal nephews who become related due to this breast-feeding also become harâm on this girl.

In Mohammeds time men used to make their wives breast feed their male slaves to deter them from marrying them or having an affair.
Some modern Islamic cultures still do that.

The thing is my best friend trusted her friend.
The girl has been telling my friend lies about him, that he's not good enough for her, all sorts of B.S.
Only to go and sleep with him, not after they finalize their r/ship o, but when they were still having problems.
That raggedy boy is a manwhore, but with my best friend's friend?
You know what he told her? : "I got the BJ I wanted, that's all I wanted from your friend". shocked shocked

eh let him get some blom blom to go with that too
nonsense
why would someone be having such intimate talks with an ex?
Maybe I'm naive since I didn't do so much dating but the few I had when it was over, they moved on and I did
I would even gladly return their photographs and items that I posessed  and didn't hang around to hear stories of his life after.
I guess times have changed.

Romance / Re: Will You Attend Your Ex's Wedding? by Queenisha: 3:36am On Sep 05, 2008
That's why people should live uncomplicated lives.
A man can't go playing and deceiving women and hope none of them will show up and cause katakata.
Same with girls that allow some OMATA at Onitsha main market "train" them in school then they go off to marry some new lover when someone else has basically fed her whole family for 10 years while waiting patiently for her to ripen.

In Nigeria people don't need invitations to attend a wedding so you can't escape it  if someone is bent on doing it.

You would go to any wedding invited/uninvited.
I have been told u go about searching for weddings, obituaries or any social event in the name of free food, drinks and scavenging. tongue

Would u invite him to your wedding??
What if he suffers a brief moment of madness, raises his arm up when the officiating minister asks if anyone objects to the union of u and your groom?

True story,a man actually raised his hand and stood up at a wedding my folks attended and the church was on fire.
Most churches don't make that announcement anymore.

Tayo-D:

@Queenisha,
Maybe you should also wait till the investigation is concluded before you condemn her. I assume that you are no hypocrite and that you also think the advice you give others are relevatn to you as well.
Tell me who doesn't have any baggage. Is it the Clintons or the Obamas? From sexual misconducts to associations with Terrorists who bankroll their purchase of houses. And by the way, every family have their baggage.
The issues are only a figment of your imagination. There is absolutely no issue here but a record of achievement that Obama can never match.

IHer family is not on fire at all. Did you see them at the convention? This is evidently a close knit family who are standing by their daughter.
Her knocked-up adult daughter's pregnancy is none of your business. What affair are you alluding to? She's married to her High School sweetheart for 20 years now. The scandal about the child is nothing but a figment of your imagination. paying for a lawyer to defend the Governor is pretty standard. You are just trying to cook up bacon when all you have is chicken.
If she was the coward you are encouraging her to be, she wouldn't have achieved was she's done in alaka so far.
Your personal attacks on her doesn't potray you as responsible.
So she is to blame for the adults who are attacking her daughter. Your logic beats me totally. You are making her responsible for the actions of other adults! Direct your anger at the people who are attacking the girl and not her mother who is standing by her daughter.
Believe me, the people who regard her won't even show you face.

yes she brought the dirty laundry to the open by accepting that nomination knowing she needed to hunker down like any responsible mother will do.
I am not in anyway angry
The word is "utterly disgusted"
Even Republican strategists in unguarded moments see what we all see.
she didn't have to stand by her daughter in a public arena.
She didn't need to be there in the first place.
Teen pregnancy is still a thing of shame and should be more so to an ultraconservative like she parades herself to be
I also happen to belong there in most issues.
We don't have to glorify it in any way
what picture are we sending to our teenage girls?
Britney Spears sister had a baby at 16, Sheniqua down in the projects had her twins at 15,
Look even the VPs daughter paraded her stomach and turgid breasts on the stage at 17 clutched to her boyfriend.

What a wonderful world we live in.
