South Africans will be cursing us under their breath by now.

We beat them narrowly in the 2023 AFCON semi finals

And now we've gotten another narrow win in the 2025 WAFCON semi finals

Back then, we beat them in the 2000 AFCON semi finals too

Anytime they hear Nigeria and semi finals in the same sentence, their legs go dey shake grin grin

SA was the toughest test imo and they passed. If Ghana makes it to that final, it will be a bloodbath
I'm more wary for Morocco to be honest.

Nigerians should not be under any illusions, the football match against South Africa will be a very tough encounter and will be keenly contested. Forget about the shambolic display of the Bayana Bayana against Senegal in the quarter finals, the South African girls will come out guns blazing tomorrow. The Falcons need to maintain the same standard they showed against Zambia and be focused; hopefully, they will come out victorious. Mission X is possible!
Exactly my thoughts. I can't count the number of matches we've had over the years where it looks like a no-brainer for us to win only for us to come back home empty handed. In my experience, we usually perform our best when we're written off and given next to no chance. The way Nigerians are hyping the Super Falcons after that Zambia match. Hmmm. I just dey take eye dey look.

Now that Osimhen has been relegated to Turkey, is this a good time to revisit the Nwakali/Super Eagles debate? grin

But wait ooooo, with all these condition, clause, high wages and big sign on fee if Gala decide to cash in on osimhen in the nearest future na em be say dem go sell am like around 130m-140m Atleast to recoup, make profit, settle Napoli the agreed 10%

I foresee another fight btw osimhen and gala in 2-3 season time 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was just thinking the same thing. Transfer market is big business and a club like Galatasaray will be looking to make huge profits from someone like Osimhen if/when the time is ripe.

The plot thickens.

WAFCON IN 2022, South Africa, Morocco and Zambia all beat Nigeria.

WAFCON in 2025. Nigeria beat Zambia. South whipping loading, and we finish the job against Morocco (most likely).🙏🏾

I'm sorry but I'm not going to buy into the optimism. The SF performance so far simply doesn't inspire me to do so. I won't even watch the full 90 mins. Plus, I'd honestly prefer to be wrong tomorrow and have people come here to say, "I told you"

I don't trust Madugu's strategic approach.
I don't trust our capacity to finish.
I don't (fully) trust our defense.
And I definitely don't trust our PK chances. Nnadozie will most likely turn up, but besides that idk...

Whoever wins this game though, it will be a close fight. That I'm sure of.

......don't mix it up, Politics and Governance ain't same - and Yes, Politics is a game.
They're not the same, but in a real democracy you can't separate them in the practical sense of it. Politics is a game, agreed. But it is also a game that directly determines who gets to make decisions that affect an entire country. Politics and the way it's handled easily translates to how governance is also handled.

Jokers like you get too inebriated with the vanity of your so-called political strategies and chess moves that you can't see that real people are suffering real consequences in the real world. And now you've just proven it in this response to izzou.

I don't mind the fact that you're clearly insensitive, but at least have the balls to own up to your lack of humanity.

Na illiteracy cause am. The average rural Nigerian doesn't fully understand the concept of human rights. Nobody was violated. It was an act carried out by two consenting adults. The only thing violated here is the trust of the woman's husband.

We still out played Al Hilal. So no beef.
This isn't premier league. They needed a win to advance. In the next 10 years nobody is going to care more about Man City outplaying Al Hilal at the 2025 World Cup than Man City losing to them.

We are going – Nwabali confident Super Eagles will qualify for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, despite their current precarious position in the qualifying group.

Nigeria, three-time Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) champions, sit fourth in their World Cup qualifying group, trailing behind key rivals with just four games left to play. Only the group winners will automatically qualify for the global tournament scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

I know this by watching her many times for club and country and I still statistically compared her with the ones they've been giving world best all these while and she's better than all of them.

Make she see top club sign for abeg. She's too too good, makes goalkeeping look damn easy.
Better than Mary Earps? Forgive me for asking but outside the last women's world cup I haven't really watched much of Nnadozie.
