If only osimhen waited, newcastle would have pushed for him, they are looking for every avaliable striker.
Newcastle's story is looking me similar to Man City the same way the Saudis swooped in to take control of the club and turn their fortune around. We saw how well they performed last season.

I won't be surprised if they end up becoming one of the EPL's big 4 or big 6 in the coming decade. They're already looking to displace Tottenham at least imo.

The younger ones on the trail behind her aren't as promising

Make nobody mention any Anderline abeg.

I hope the way she emerged repeat itself for the next GK. What a generational talent!! What a decade of football
I swear.

This current set of Super Falcons are a golden generation to me. And I'm glad most of them are on the younger side.

CHAN Bats you mean?
I was looking for birds that can't even take off from the ground, talk less of fly, but CHAN bats works very well too. 😂

Thanks for the great work you do with the highlights my man Basco but I can't in good conscience recommend anyone use their data to watch that nonsense.

Watching a video of paint drying on a wall is more productive.
I was asking myself last night why I wasted data to even stream that game. I guess I just did it to get a feel of how Chelle's tactical game unfolds.

Never ever will I try it again. These CHAN chickens are not worth it.

His rants against Finidi is not an excuse for clubs not recruiting anyone, the club that splashed this huge amount on him,is he not going to be managed by a coach?

If Coaches like Guardiola, Mourinho, Enrique,Alonso, Ancelotti, even Conte, believes they seriously need the services of Osimhen, they would surely overlook that single moment, because they know they can command Osimhen's respect 💯.

And how many coaches has Osimhen insulted in his professional career in order to establish it as a trait he is known for?
As someone who isn't entirely satisfied with Osimhen's move to Gala, I've always considered that attitude excuse to be the weakest justification for ignoring Osimhen. Doesn't really make sense to me why people bring that up. And it's odd that Gary Lineker would cite that as the reason.

Unless it's a new policy in the EPL to be ignoring players who are vocal and aggressive. Doesn't make sense, but who knows?

Honestly, It's far more likely to me that they're ignoring him because of his wage demands (in light of the new wage structures in some EPL clubs), AFCON absence when the season starts, or his injury history, or his age, or whether he will fit into their strategy/tactics for this season etc. Any other reason is suspect.

So I don't know but that attitude thing is not really convincing to me.

The Senegalese have slowed down significantly. They're severely fatigued and we're starting to look more dangerous.

Now would have been a really good time to strike.

If this Chan eagles hit jackpot, i see Chelle taking at least 2 to AFCON.

Overall fear: sports abandonment resumes after all this rewards fervor settles.

The problem with housemates voting is that it will turn off the average BBN viewer.

These are people that have grown to associate the show with voting and fan wars. It's an important element of the show now, for better or worse.

Me too, I would prefer the housemate voting format but it's too late to implement that now.

Everyone in the house was angry with how Prince treated Isabella. Then Prince offended bright then that became the 2nd reason why everyone was angry with him 😂

Who even came up with this CHAN idea sef? These CHAN Eagles have been a constant deficit for as long as I can remember. As bad as our main squad is, these boys don't hold a candle to them.

CAF is just doing this CHAN stuff for the benefit of scrubs like Kenya and Niger whose main squads are no different from their CHAN squad, given that many of their players are locally based anyway.

I'm only going to watch our games to get more glimpses of Eric Chelle's tactics and strategies with our team. Call me negative, but I fully expect us to drop out before the knockout stages. Let's see if they can prove me wrong.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by QueenJazz(f): 8:18am On Aug 04, 2025
In all seriousness though, the recent success of the Super Falcons and D'Tigresses, if nothing else, should serve as motivation for the Super Eagles for the upcoming AFCON and remaining WC qualifying games. They need to capitalize on the momentum and deliver their very best.

Senegal finished runner-up in the 2019 AFCON and came home with the trophy the next edition (2021). Hopefully it will be the same for us (runner-up 2023, winners 2025).
