Solidcitizen: Yes, I paid for a two-way courier. I also paid the transmission fee because my son didn’t do biometrics. I don’t think you have to pay the transmission fee if you don’t have a child and you are sending it through the same VAC that you did your biometrics. You will attach the slip that you were given during Biometrics to prove that you did your Biometrics there.
However, you can still pay if you can afford it, just to avoid delays if it turns out everyone is required to pay the fee. I know a single person that paid and it’s not like they refunded the money. Thank you for your response. |

Solidcitizen: COPR is here finally Dropped off Passports at DHL Lagos - 20 June Arrived at Lagos VAC - 22 June Dispatched to Accra VAC - 22 June Received at Accra VAC - 28 June Received at Accra Visa Office - 6 July Decision Envelope Received at Lagos VAC - 29 July Counterfoil Email - 29 July Passport delivered to us - 2 August
There were no email updates on when the processed passports were sent back to Ghana VAC and from Ghana VAC to Lagos VAC.
The process took about 6 weeks. So if you are really in a hurry to travel, I suggest you try other VOs. Hello. Congratulations on your PPR and COPR. Regarding the passport submission, was it a two-way courier? Like, did DHL pick up your docs for you? Did you pay any fees to have it sent to Accra? By VAC, I'm guessing it's same as VFS where biometrics gets done, right? Thank you in anticipation. |

5454Darese: Please just sent it directly to Accra. If you send it through Lagos that might add additional 2-3 weeks to your processing time. You could get your passport back within 2.5 - 5 weeks if you send to Accra directly while Lagos 5.5-10 weeks. Thank you. |

Hello everyone. I wish to get some advice on sending passport after PPR. Please what is the best option? Is it to send it to Vfs Accra directly via courier? I heard using Lagos vfs is slow? Any better option?
Please note I am awaiting my second PPR(Got first ppr a day to my wedding)
Thank you in anticipation. |

Hello, japa family. Please help ooo. I'm trying to fill the Additional family form. I added my spouse post PPR and getting the required documents as it is. I'm a little confused as to how he should fill his own dorm. For the applicant section, would he still write my name and fill his own as the spouse? I don't gerrit. Not that I m the principal applicant. |

GraciousWords: Queenmaker, pls read the post above, especially the part in red.
Get docs to add spouse to your app. Check out FAQ 34 and resend all as webform, that may get IRCC moving.....who knows. Thank you. Planning to do just that. We are gathering the required documents. |

Hello, japa family. I got wedded on 9th of this month but got the "Ready for Visa" mail on the 8th. I have sent webform to inform ircc on the change in my status. I was given 30 days to send my passport. Up till this moment, I have not received any response from them. Biko, what can I do at this point? Do I go ahead and send my passport to Vfs Lagos, or just chill for ircc? |

Lupigne: the 50k is the cost per exam. There's also registration fee and yearly membership fee. Self study is possible. I prepared for the 3 exams all on my own even though I had no accounting background. The study kits were all I needed. If you're on telegram, I can add you to the ACCA group. You'll find out more about the exam there and also get access to study kits. Please could you add a friend for me? |

Okortor: I have just come to realize all women are the same. A friend of mine has this pretty wife, he pays her monthly and even established a supermarket for her. They had lil issue fews day back which can be resolved amicably even without involving third party but only for her to pack her things n left with his 3kids. I am more surprised because I know he adores his wife.
FEAR WOMEN....... Fear women, based on a one sided narrative. What is considered a "lil" issue may be a major issue for the woman. Did her husband do something horrible like cheat on her despite the supermarket and money he gave her? Did you hear her side of the tale? For some women, it's the little things that matter. Get to the root of issues before coming to conclusions. |

Hello everyone..... For persons who paid their application fees through domiciliary account, how much would be considered as sufficient to cover the extra hidden charges? For instance, I'm to pay 1410 CAD, approximately 1150 USD. Biko, I'm asking because I'll be buying at black market rate so I don't need unpleasant surprises when making payment. |

lola0999: My fellow future canadians. To update this new POF na die.. As everywhere is harrrddd! The reason I am writing this Is because I learnt there might be a draw this month. With my CRS score I might likely get an invitation. What are the other fees to be paid post ITA.. Are we paying for Visa fee and if yes how much please? What of police certificate how much is that? I need to plan for it financially so as not to be stranded... The fees to be paid depends on the family size. If it's just you, then it's 1410 CAD total, including the biometrics fee. As for police cert, just budget between 5k to 10k. Then medicals, about 46500 /40000 per adult. |

Hello, everyone. I received ITA and intend to update my pof on my EE profile but can't seem to do so as there is no way to edit anything. Hope this would not be an issue? Secondly, for my reference letters. My last 3 former employers issued me letters last year which I used for PNP (addressed to whom it may concern). I wish to use same for federal because getting new letters would be difficult. Advice needed. Cc GraciousWords, ednut1..... others please. |

Lagbaja88: 2 .most Nigerian do not include average balance, with 6 months bank statement the visa officer can compute it. If you are using gift deed or sale of properties its not required to provide 6 months. Hello. So does this mean I'll not be having any issues with by bank refusing to give me an average balance of 6 months? I'm not using a gift deed. Thanks. |

phabulous88: Banks and stupidd policies. How difficult is it to issue you a letter stating your average balance for 6 months?! Your own account o! Information that can be extracted in less then 30 seconds. And after they will be blaming Buhari Nigeria will just frustrate you left, right, center, up and down. The matter just tire me. |

Hi guys! Please who has used fidelity and GTBank for POF? I was told at fidelity that the reference letter would not indicate all the items listed by ircc, but simply a letter that I have maintained the account for a duration. The letter of indebtedness would be issued separately. Please how do I manoeuvre this? No 6months average to be stated. |
