Not that he was lying but that he did not mean hell as we think it, and probably didn't use the word "hell". To him "hell" is what happens to EVERYONE after they die. In his view there is no counterbalancing heaven. So "The Preacher" ought be the last person you should be quoting in a topic about heaven!
