Hezbollah hamas I fully support their agenda. It cannot be compared to boko haram ideology in any way but im sure you haven't even bothered to classify them accordingly, you rather judge their quests as homogeneous. As for Uranium that was for the international atomic agency to control based on agreement with Obama which Trump ruined, which the atomic agency became full saboteurs and back bitters catalysts for irans downfall. As for women, bro there's no proof of execution for not wearing hijab. Alot of women in Iran don't wear hijab. Did you even bother to check? Pls do your research next time so yiu won't be swayed by popular opinions
Oh I did my research. See it below. I'm sure you didn't do yours

Funny thing is Iran's challenges are caused by the west so he should prepare to be a full blown puppet if he ever leads, but it's very impossible
Sure, financing and arming Hezbollah, Hamas, etc is caused by the West. So are killing women for not wearing hijab, enriching uranium, etc

This man has never worked a day in his entire life. He has been living in his father’s shadow and wealth in Europe for over 40 years. How will such a person lead Iran out of its challenges with empathy for the masses. He doesn’t even know the road to his village. Just a packaged puppet for the western elite to funnel the Iranian commonwealth and further impoverish the people.
Better than someone who knows everything and KNOWS the best way is through terrorism

Person must be careful and run away from you. What benefits will the ceremony you give to a dead body give you.
Run away from me for spitting facts?
Suppose her one greatest wish was to be given a befitting burial? And sippose next door neighbours just had a pump and pageantry funeral for their matriach?

One thing I’ve come to love about Spencer is “No one can pressure me.” Period.

Before my mother can even think of making demands, she has already secured an inheritance that covers the entire burial and still leaves a balance. In my family, from my grandparents down, the instruction is always to keep it modest—na we dey overdo.

If my parent is asking for a grand ceremony, they better leave behind enough plots of land to fund the "owambe." If they didn't leave anything in the will to cover the cost, then their request is just a "wish"—and wishes don't buy cows. That’s Spencer.

One thing I love about the yorubas especially those in Lagos is “they celebrate life than death”. Every year they do birthday celebrations for their old parents and in all my travels I can tell you I’ve met more older parents in the west than other places and they are still strong. I think one of the underlying factor is the parents are always wishing to celebrate their next birthday than burials. I think that should be imbibed in ip ther cultures.
Well, Spence, here's the thing, all cultures believe the dead are still aware of goings on from the other side and it affects their happiness. Imagine mammy going about depressed because she was given a shoddy burial.
Bottom line, lesson: make money so you don't have to sell your child to give loved one a befitting burial!

At the end of the day, it’s all about vanity and eye-service 😂. I hope the girl and her brother are enjoying the "satisfaction" they’re going to be getting behind bars now.

Why must you seek pleasure through burial ceremonies? There are a thousand ways to enjoy life without breaking the law or your bank account. Personally, I didn't even contribute to my own grandfather’s burial cloth (Aso-ebi), and I come from a family that breathes tradition. Despite the pressure, I stay away from burial drama. Give me a birthday party over a funeral any day.

We need to realize that a burial can be memorable without being exorbitant. If you took care of the deceased while they were alive and spent quality time with them, that memory is worth more than killing twenty cows.
But anyway, that’s just my two cents. To each his own, as long as your "happiness" doesn't land you in Kirikiri.
Another way to look at it is that your mammy only dies once but you can always have another baby. Suppose her one greatest wish was to be given a befitting burial?
Also, next door neighbours could have just buried their mother with pump and pageantry

You don't understand. They can no longer locate who bought the baby. Also the mother who reported to police says she never agreed that the baby be sold

Lmao 🤣. When will this generation stop this madness of extravagant burials?

It is high time we stop this habit of glorifying death over life. It makes no sense to ignore someone while they are alive and struggling, only to start killing cows and throwing lavish parties the moment they pass away. That is pure "eye-service" and hypocrisy.

A simple coffin and modest rites are enough. The living still need to eat, and the economy is already hard enough. If that burial money was invested in a business or used to support the living, it would actually yield results. Instead, we spend millions to impress people who will forget the event in three years.

Even if you bury someone in a gold-plated helicopter, it changes nothing. Let’s learn to celebrate the living and keep burials moderate. We have to be better than the previous generation.
Gerrard59:
Heavy or, in most cases, unnecessary burial expenses are some of the lifestyle/cultural expenses that plunge or further push (in this case) many Nigerians into penury. If an older person dies of natural causes, pray, cry and bury the person within a week. It makes no economic sense to rack up debts to bury someone. Let alone sell a child to raise money to bury the dead. The person has died and haff go. Yes, it hurts, but just cry, pray and dig ground to bury the person.
Except that people DON'T forget it in 3 years. And even if they forget that family won't forget. I still remember my folks talking with so much pride about how the village chief came to our great grandfather's burial and fired a dane gun - once o.

These things ought not matter but people and their stupidity make them matter!

If poverty were a person, he would have died from too many false accusations. 😏

they should Stop blaming your choices on their background. Poverty never pushed them anywhere; they were just greedy or wanted to throw a massive burial just to show off and "belong."

Both of them are greedy and deserve to be punished. It’s pure heartlessness when people do wicked things and still have the audacity to blame it on poverty.
Soo mother dies, you want her funeral to be the poorest on record that people will be talking about to 3rd generation

Crime › Man Sells Sister’s Baby To Fund Mother’s Burial by QuinQ(op): 9:05am On Mar 07
Things happen in this country. The sister's eyes probably cleared after the 500K she thought was a lot of money disappeared!

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man accused of selling his sister’s one-month-old baby for N2 million.

It was gathered that the suspect, who resides in Igbogbo in the Ikorodu area of the state, allegedly claimed he sold the infant to raise funds for their mother’s burial.

The baby’s mother later reported the incident to the police, prompting the suspect’s arrest.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Olohundare Jimoh, has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, for further investigation.

Speaking with newsmen in Lagos on Friday, the suspect, who admitted to the act, attributed his actions to financial hardship.

He explained that he came in contact with the woman who purchased the baby through Facebook.

“Poverty pushed me into doing it. My sister initially agreed to the arrangement,” he said.

According to him, the woman seeking a child asked him to bring the baby to Mile 2 after their discussions.

“I went there with my sister. A man sent by the buyer collected the baby, and the woman transferred N2 million into my bank account,” he said.

The suspect added that he gave his sister N500,000 from the proceeds, while the remaining amount was used to organise their mother’s burial.

He further claimed that after the burial, his sister began demanding that the baby be returned, alleging that he had used charms to influence her to agree to the sale.

“My sister later claimed she was unaware that the baby had been sold and reported the matter to the police, which led to my arrest,” he said.

The suspect said he did not know the buyer personally and had no details about her residence, adding that attempts to reach her through the phone number used during the transaction had been unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of SCID, Dayo Akinbisehin, confirmed that investigations into the matter are ongoing.

He noted that the suspect would be arraigned in court once the investigation is concluded.
