We should always see marriage as a union that brings two people together to become one.in that case what belongs to Lanre belongs to Ada and vice versa.

If Lanre has 2 shops one is very profitable and the other is barely surving,if the need ever arises that one of the shops has to be closed which one do you think that Lanre as a sensible person would close?of course the one which is barely surviving.

So,in this case,the husband and wife should see it from the perspective that they have two shops.and if the need ever arises that they should close one of their shops,the most sensible thing to do is to close the one that is less profitable irrespective of who is affected.

So for me the man who earns 70k should resign and let the wife who earns 700k retain her job,that is if they are married and truly love themselves.

The problem with Nigeria is that,we are short sighted and at most sentimental when making critical decisions.I remember that sometime in 2007,Mr.Aliko Dangote wanted to buy these non-functioning refineries people cried foul. Now 2yrs after we are going back to that same process.Do you know what time we have lost?.That is if the process will go ahead.
