The legal battles in front of the LP are not enviable at all. |
Anyone that tries to blame LP’s current woes on the APC is either talking out of ignorance, mischief or both. Facts: 1. Those who dragged the former LP Chairman and his Exco to court are Labour Party Members. A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, sitting at Maitama, yesterday, issued an order, restraining Mr. Julius Abure from parading himself as the National Chairman of the Labour Party, LP.2. The person that accused Abure (ex LP chairman) of forgery is Ebonyi State Labour Party Governorship candidate. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/04/ebonyi-lp-guber-candidate-accuses-natl-chairman-of-alleged-forgery/amp/ Therefore the Labor Party should look inwards to stop its implosion and quit blaming the ruling party for its self inflicted woes.

LP was hijacked using criminally forged stamps and signatures so that some people can impose their emergency candidate, therefore it is perfectly expected that the real owners will take back their party by every means possible. Watery petition, incriminating audio tape, candidacy based on forgery, crumbling party…the walls are closing in on Obi.

LadyExcellency:No presidential candidate has verbally declared a religious war except Peter Obi the helpless bigot. Tremendously satisfying watching him caught in the web of his lies and bigotry.
|
FreeStuffsNG:This first leaked a few months ago, but the headless mob were able to distract Nigerians from it. I don’t think they’ll be so lucky this time amidst Obi’s trending religious bigotry.
|
ekineme:Yes daddy. |
Legitisreal:

Zombidiots need to stop their weak attempt to create disharmony between winning political allies, while trying to measure their tiny political gbola with the North. It’s laughable and I’m glad our smart comrades aren’t taking the bait 😎 |
Continue to deceive yourself. Elected Igbo Governors are grateful to Buhari for the 2nd Niger Bridge, Roads, Zik Mausoleum etc. DMerciful:
|
Honesty is the best policy, of course daddy. We appreciate your confirmation of the leaked audio despite the failed attempts of miscreants to deny and spin it. Now they’re in pains. Thank you daddy. 😂 |
kcnwaigbo:Yet they both won their elections, especially in the same critical highest voting areas. Unlike Obi, and now it’s worse with this audio. |
kcnwaigbo:He’s 100% right. If Obi ever contests a Nigerian election again, all his opponent needs is to make this audio go viral in the highest voting areas of the North and SW. |
madridguy:Funniest thing is that Obidients were busy trying to disprove the leaked conversation exposing Peter Obi as a religious bigot as fake, before his spokesman came out to confirm it to their utter dismay. Now the mob is dragging LP spokesman ![]()

|
A spokesman for Peter Obi and member of the LP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has confirmed the authenticity of the leaked conversation between Peter Obi and a popular cleric, however Obi’s spokesman claimed in a series of tweets, that it was not necessarily a case of religious bigotry. This came shortly after some LP supporters popularly known as ‘Obidients’ tried to deny and disprove the leaked conversation. Excerpts…

ANAP/NOI polls should be held partly responsible for this. They successfully confused their followers on the difference between online politics and reality. |
Like #EndSARS, the Obi campaign is no longer political or in LP’s hands. Ipob terrorists have taken over. The earlier you people who call yourselves Obidients realise this the better. |
The beerfraud cheap blackmail has resumed. They have now dumped Obi and suddenly remembered Nnamdi Kanu that has been chained to the floor all the while they were chanting “Elupee” and climbing trees & masts with green-white-green flags. Luckily, even the most naive Nigerian can now see through the petty blackmail by election losers turned supporters of globally acclaimed terror group, even as they keep trooping daily into the zoo they pretend to be rejecting. |
“What I expect our people to do is to align with the incoming administration, negotiate like others for national resources and political largesse for the benefit of our citizens.“Sound advice but like people that are bound to wail, cry and play victim, they will not listen. When resources are scarce and needs are competing, strategic positioning and alignment becomes a matter of survival and not nzobu nzobu. However regardless of whether they align or not, I believe they will still get their equitable share of dividends of Asiwaju’s Presidency, just like they got a brand new bridge and roads from Buhari despite hating and opposing him throughout. |
As it is now clear that the DSS are well aware and are a step ahead of undemocratic ‘interim government’ proponents, it’s no surprise they’re now disturbed, jittery and trying to create a ruckus over a cautionary statement. Many ‘obidients’ were hanging on to the notion of ‘interim government’ as their last straw (especially with Obi’s weak election petition) in order to escape the reality of Tinubu’s approaching swearing-in ceremony, but that has now been effectively blasted to pieces by the released statement and general, roundabout condemnation of the unconstitutional notion. |
This defeat must be really painful for the 5% 😩 They’re taking it worse than expected. But how did they expect to win without the majority of voters that are in the NW, NE & SW? Did Soludo not foretell Obi’s certain defeat? So much noise from a minority that came a distant third.
|
OlawaleBammie:Don’t expect anything reasonable in response. They suffer from zero objectivity and 100% sentimentality. The OP was posturing as an objective intellectual but the weak facade was torn apart when faced with the superior track record of Tinubu and clear evidence of rigging Obi’s stronghold. Suddenly the otollectual doesn’t care about capacity or track record “even if Tinubu built Lagos “. Nothing different from the average sentimental religious bigot down the street. |
After a few days of grilling at FCID for cyberstalking and spreading fake news, humbled and apologetic obidient scapegoat turns social media influencer for Police.
|
Humbled and Apologetic scapegoat 😄 |
A very good choice of a scapegoat. Good to see him humbled and apologetic. Zombidients are beginning to get too used to creating malicious, FAKE news out of thin air and make it trend to soothe their broken hearts after Obi’s defeat. It’s time they start to face the long arm of the law. Just imagine the wicked lie he created and was spreading about the President-elect and Sir Offor. He and his fellow urchins will think twice next time.
|
waynetee:Fulani are a core part of the reason zombidients are going through a third round of heartbreak and defeat. They’re not noisemakers that descend into the ‘race-to-the-bottom’ cesspool of insults but rather respond with supreme action. They’re also the reason BAT got the votes and national spread to win so you shouldn’t talk carelessly. |
bong4:The candidate, not necessarily the individual, is weak and inferior. Inferior in track record in governance compared to other candidates. Weak in inability to win states in the most electorally populated regions of North and SW (except Lagos). |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Lagos, just like the FCT is a multi-ethnic city. |
pineed:Which mandate? Where are the votes? Lmao. Even Obi knew that he couldn’t have won without votes from the North and SW. Inspection of electoral materials cleared their doubts. Obi lost the election fair and square and I’m glad his zombidients now know it. Instead of facing reality and preparing for the future, they’re again raising and pinning their hopes on flimsy allegations (that couldn’t stop his election) only to be painfully heartbroken again after President Tinubu is sworn in on May 29th. |
