Under the US justice it is the prosecutor who accuses in cases of murder. That is why you will never hear of the family of the murder victim withdrawing the charge against the accused immortalcrown: |
Produce evidence of Sleepy Joe leading in the polls, lol. The screenshot I showed you is from 48 hours ago. Show us what Creepy Joe has done within 48 hrs to overhaul The Don's massive lead. I'm daring you. Obrigardo: |
It's not about being an American sweetie, it's about having a brain with more than two living brain cells in it. Trump is leading in ALL the swing states where he lost to Sleepy Joe in 2020. And we're not talking single digits love. Even the politically motivated judicial witch hunt isn't slowing his momentum and the DEMONrats are defecating on themselves out of sheer panic and desperation. https://www.hostpic.org/images/2312211909550116.jpg Obrigardo: |
I suppose you also think Donald Trump is trash too. It's too bad that he'll probably be your president elect by this time next year🤣 Obrigardo: |
The downtime of one of Nigeria’s most popular websites, Nairaland.com, on Wednesday, entered the third day on Wednesday with users showing their displeasure over the site’s inaccessibility. Nairaland, an online discussion forum, that has dominated Nigeria’s web rankings for almost 20 years, went down on Monday after it was “taken down” by the host of its server. The forum’s founder, Seun Osewa, disclosed via tweets on his X profile early Tuesday that the downtime was due to an abusive report which he had “overlooked” after it was “originally sent on the 14th.” He added that the server was taken down by the host after which he “removed the offensive content.” However, he stated that after taking some hours to get support on how to resolve the issue, the forum was restored on the server. Osewa added that matters took another turn when “they took the server down again with no warning.” The forum’s founder, in a tweet early Wednesday, appealed to users and advertisers on the forum, adding that his “neglect of Nairaland is directly responsible.” The tweet read, “Dear Nairaland members and advertisers, I’m very sorry for this unacceptable, ill-timed outage. “My neglect of Nairaland is directly responsible. I was also unprepared to move to a new host at a moment’s notice after nine years with the current host. The process is ongoing but slow.” However, users of the forum and tweeps of the social media app, X, have been expressing their displeasure and disappointment over the development. A user, @BashirAhmaad, tweeted, “Does anyone have information on what’s happening with Nairaland? Typically, it is part of my nightly routine to check the site before bed, but it appears the page is down tonight. Could it be a technical issue, hacking, or something else?” @jigslionheart wrote, “You mean you have never thought about investing in your own server? As big as NL is?” Another tweep, @ebunleyi stated, “@seunosewa still think Nairaland is a joke. You overlook what? Imagine if Google experienced such downtime. You really do not rate Nairaland like we rate it sha. Get an active team in place and upscale this site. It means a lot to a lot of Nigerians.” @rani_reine tweeted, “No wonder. I have tried logging in multiple times in the past six hours. Please get it back.” Another user, @akintollgate, wrote, “Nairaland is bigger than being at the mercy of a host! Scale! Scale! Scale…..I open Nairaland at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and 11pm daily! You have built a true indigenous brand! It’s bigger than what your preferences are….build a team and let it unleash its potential! All the best…..” One user, @Bimfo, stated, “Own the Abuse team. Have your server at your disposal. As you said in 2014 when we were hacked, Nairaland is bigger now. Oga Mii, Employ people. You are capable. If you really want to consider this advice, you can start by employing me, sir. I will manage any amount.” https://punchng.com/popular-website-nairaland-shutdown-enters-third-day/ |
Must you keep on lying? You're an Islamic banker and you don't even understand the fundamentals of Islamic banking?🤣🤣🤣 Emu4life: |
This is the problem when you can't call a spade by its name. Islamic banks can refer to their own interest as either "rent" or "profit sharing", it makes no difference because it works exactly the same way as interest. No bank will last longer than a year in business if it doesn't charge interest because interest guards against phenomenon like loss of currency value and inflation. For example, in cases of property purchase, known as home mortgage commercial banks will charge about 6% interest. But if an Islamic bank enters into a mortgage with you, it buys the house and begins renting it to you. You become their "tenant". They'll start charging you "rent" at incremental rates which for all intents and purposes, is virtually indistinguishable from the interest charged by commercial banks. The only difference is that while in some cases commercial banks may charge compound interest (known as Usury) especially if the property is being used to carry out a business, Islamic banks, on paper, are not supposed to charge anything more than simple interest. But the reality is, many of them do, even in Saudi Arabia. Raheeqilmaktoom: |
I know the truth is painful to you in the same way disinfectant is painful to bacteria, but wether you like it or not, everything I said is true. If you don't believe me, go and ask any Islamic banker you know and if he is honest, he will cure your ignorance. Emu4life: |

Sukuk is not interest free, otherwise the Islamic bank which gave the loan will collapse. What they do is charge interest, but they call it by another name. Instead of calling it interest, the Islamic bank calls it a rental. The construction project be it a road or a housing estate belongs to the Islamic Bank and you become their "tenant". They'll start charging you "rent" at incremental rates which for all intents and purposes, is virtually indistinguishable from the interest charged by commercial banks. The only difference is that while commeecial banks may charge compound interest (known as Usury), Islamic banks, on paper, are not supposed to charge anything more than simple interest. But the reality is, many of them do, even in Saudi Arabia. meum: |
You don't judge a religion by the actions of its followers. You judge by the moral standards of the central foundational figure of the religion and whether or not he was a hypocrite or a bad person. In other words, a bad Christian doesn't mean a bad Christ. In order to prove the latter, you would have to objectively and independently establish why you hold such a belief. benzypher: |

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday told multinationals operating in Nigeria on Thursday that his administration was determined to remove all bottlenecks to the smooth running of their businesses. This was as he said no obstacle was too big to be removed to make Nigeria a safe-haven for large-scale investments. “We are very focused on resolving all investment-related issues. There is no bottleneck that is too difficult for us to remove in our determined march toward making Nigeria the African haven for large-scale investment in all key sectors. “We need each other,” the President told a visiting delegation of the management of Shell Group led by its Global Integrated Gas and Upstream Director, Ms. Zoe Yujnovich, at the State House, Abuja. The President’s remarks followed the recent exodus of several multinational companies from the country in the past months. A PUNCH analysis of separate notices filed by several companies show that at least five multinationals have wound down operations in Nigeria in the last 10 months. But in a statement signed Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed confidence in the potential for increased investment from Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. Emphasising Nigeria’s longstanding ties with Shell, which date back to the discovery of the country’s first commercial oil field in 1956, the President assured the Shell delegation of his administration’s commitment to securing and fostering both existing and new investments. “We have made progress since our last meeting. I will continue to support and encourage you on this path. “There is no doubt that there is a significant focus on investment in and around the continent. I am spearheading Nigeria’s global march for new investments at home. “In view of our long-term relationship that has been established over the years, we want you to do more, and we are ready to encourage you in every way possible,” he added. Shell’s Global Integrated Gas and Upstream Director, Ms. Zoe Yujnovich, on behalf of the Shell Group, affirmed the company’s intent to sustain its investment legacy in Nigeria. This includes a particular focus on deepwater and gas sector opportunities, with a pledged investment of $1bn over the next decade to enhance the domestic gas value chain and support the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas project. She announced an upcoming $5bn investment in the Bonga North project, located off Nigeria’s coast, saying it underscores Shell’s commitment to the country’s energy sector. Ms. Yujnovich expressed eagerness to proceed with this significant venture and noted the series of prospective investments Shell is considering in Nigeria. https://punchng.com/dont-leave-nigeria-tinubu-urges-multinationals/ |

That Tinubu is a Machiavellian has never been in doubt, but the truth is, the average man on the streets doesn't care about the chess games played by the political elite. All they care about is their ever diminishing financial and economic power and the rapidly escalating cost of living. At the end of the day, Tinubu runs the risk of losing everything he's gambling if he fails to sort out the economic factor Sadwaste: |
