Mamas, Am sure the ministry is moving smoothly to the glory of God! We should be in our 23rd,22nd,21st,20th, week respectively. I hope we are attending our ante natal classes and taken our 1st and 2nd dose of the TT injection.

Shopping nko? I hope you're doing it small small already.I pray God provides us with finances to be able to carry out this task. Let's not forget to put our team mate bunny19 in prayers as she is going through this phase, May God replace with something better and fill her with strength to carry on.

Hope we all have been feeling fluttering and kicks. Mine has been tiny kicks but when i bend, or sitting with my tummy folded, baby starts kicking stronger in protest.

Please if i missed out on anyone or anything, please call my attention.

Pls let's eat well o and take our supplements religiously. 

Congratulations to all the strong mamas that have delivered their bundles of joy! May God bless your Lo's and give u d strength to nurse them. Those of us still waddling, I pray for ease for us all, we will hear d cry of our babies and nuture them and it will end in praise. God bless us all

Teamie sorry about your health, you can try eating watermelon or garden egg. Try and drink lots of water too, like my Doc use to say drink water always not because you are tasty but because you have a baby that needs it. You can’t have too much water.

As for Cappo please someone should volunteer.

Oh mama Bunny19. How we miss you. Even with our small bump, we still had the most roll calls... i dunno how you do it, but i can only try as it's been boring without a cappo. Lemme volunteer but i may need assistance sometimes o. Dear Team February, lemme know what you think

Good morning mamas! Hmm.... Allah gives and Allah takes! Am hurting sisters, am really hurting but who am I to say no when God has decreed a thing.

I went for a second opinion and truly my baby is no more. IUFD(intra uterine fetal death) according to the two scans. Remember when I was 6weeks n went for scan, they said d fetus is sharing same space with a submucous myoma,apparently the fibroid grew big and kind of suffocated the fetus.

Alhamdulillah for the experience,after 8yrs of trying I was able to carry a child in my womb for 19weeks, I know am not barren and this just proves it.

Greater things ahead for me, will look into how to get rid of this fibroid then I will try again, I won't give up. I need all d prayers I can get from u all as I go for evacuation.

I love u all and wish my lovely team mates and all wonderful mama safe delivery. N one will suffer any loss inshaAllah. It's well with u all.

I'm broken sis. This is heart breaking. It's so sad. But one thing is sure, God makes no mistakes and He loves us. He will wipe your tears and give you triple for your stress. You are in our prayers sis. May you find strength to carry on. We love you. I'll keep in touch.

Good morning mama's. I've been offline for days now cos I'm having issues. I've cried, prayed to my father in heaven, assured myself God loves me and i know all will be well. I was feeling feverish, so i had to go to d hospital, i did a test few days ago and the doc said I have malaria. I was given some drugs and was asked to come for my first scan the 2nd day cos I've registered for antenatal.

On the 2nd day, i told the sonographer i'm ecpecting twins and he laughed, I said I prayed to God for twins and I believe I'm carrying twins. It took the sonographer more than 30mins to finish d scan, dh was with me and he was worried, I knew i had issues when the sonographer started asking me questions like, do you bleed? Did u spot while preggy? Were you having back pain? Hmmmmmn. I said NO. No spotting, No backache, I only have cramps. He said okay.

Then, I noticed some things. Dh and I saw 2 babies in a sac, then the sonographer didn't say a word. He showed me just one active baby, he showed me his fingers, the umbilical cord, my placenta etc. Then I saw another baby that was inactive again, the guy didn't say a word. Hmmmn. Then he clicked on the baby and I saw 12 weeks and 4days, then he clicked on something and I saw 6 weeks and 2 days. Then I became scared and confused but I still don't understand what the problem is.

On our way back to the hospital reception, I told dh my observations, he said he noticed some things too. He said I should go to d reception that he will ask the sonographer some questions. Dh came back with a red eye and fake smile, he started googling some things on his phone and I became suspicious. I started crying, dh said all is well (with the fake smile o).

It was time to see d Dr to interprete d result, dh asked d Dr what is the cause of vanishing twin baby? Ha! That was how I started crying, I cried and the Dr and dh said I shld calm down. The Dr said for now there is nothing they can do, I will have to repeat d scan in 4 weeks time. The issue is my 2nd baby wasn't breathing, he's 6 weeks+ and my other baby is 12 weeks +. Then I have fibroid, a big one. It was detected same day. So my 2 babies and the big fibroid are all in my uterus, no wonder my Belle is big. The fibroid is not gIving my 2nd baby space at all, that's why he's not breathing.

I'm emotionally down, dh sis who is a medical practitioner have referred us to an experienced gynae in a general hospital. The gynae said he has years of experience but has never heard of twins growing seperately, that twins grow togeda. I'll be seeing the gynae for another scan this weekend.

I want my other baby active and I pray for a miracle....can he still breath? Will he be fine? Has anyone had same experience before and willing to share? I'm so sad.

Sis, i quite understand how you feel. I also had a vanishing twin at 8weeks. I had 2sacs at 6weeks. By 8weeks the second sac no longer had heartbeat and got smaller. My doc said the body will absorb the tissues. Now all i see is one healthy baby which I'm so thankful for after the years of waiting. My nurse also told me not to think too much of it as the body has a way of doing away with embryos with chromosomal disorders.

This is not to say yours wont come alive. It will by God's grace. Hang in there and trust God for everything.

When it comes to treatment of malaria on pregnancy there is a lot of different schools of thoughts on the matter..
Depends on the Dr .....

This chloroquine people seem to swear by can actually cause abortion in some people esp in the early stages in addition to the fact that there is an increased resistance by malaria parasite in some places and the thing with allergy..... though some schools of thoughts swear by it during pregnancy....


Artemeter lumefantrine previously nor thought to be safe can now be used also......
Schools of thoughts change everyday....
When asking Google be mindful of the site u check and also check current guidelines cos even things done in the 90s are still left there...

When it comes to safety of drugs in pregnancy there are different categories category A to D n X ranging from safe to absolutely contra indicated.....
So I would give my patients....
Lonart wc is a type is the only antimalarial I take for treatment even when pregnant

I had lonart too at abt week10 n we're fine. Really different schools of thought. I was skeptical initially too but so far I've learnt to trust my doctors to some extent

Praise be to God as most of us are now in the 2nd trimester!!! 15th,16th,17th,18th week. Wow! how time flies,just like yesterday it seems d Ms and nausea wont end but now we are perfectly managing it as there is little or no trace of it again.

Most of us should have started antenatal now and taken our first TT injection. Hope we r taking our supplements regularly too and also fruits and veggies? very important.

Any movement from Lo yet from anyone? Me i have not started feeling o,but i guess there is still time. May God see us all through to the end and may we have a supernatural delivery. Mummy alive,baby alive and Daddy alive with plenty owo,kudi ,ego .

I wish all preggy mamas on this thread a successful delivery,those who have birthed their los may God give u the strength to take care of them. And our GTC mamas God is not asleep,as He has done for us i know urs is also on the way!! He will do it!!

Cappo.. u do well. How you de too. No movement o. We're 15weeks now. How time flies. Seem to me like a dream until i looked back and remembered I've not had my period for long. After years of waiting. Thank God for all our lives and this precious gift He has given us.

Can't wait to feel those kicks o.

All the prayers above moved me to tears. I'm also from a sister thread.

We refuse to brood but take charge by praying to the Almighty.

God, please make it easy for every potential mum and dad here. May we all not be put to shame. May we all testify to your might by early next year by carrying our babies.

Mama, I'm a bit under the weather o.

I cooked one bahd stew with correct goat meat, shrimps and eja apo . I boiled rice and fried plantain, this story is touching cos i cried o, I couldn't eat the food after all the wahala. I was able to drink garri and milk with fried beef around 9pm sha.

I can't drink water cos it irritates me. Fruits mba. Food issa No No. I've been constipating since yesterday. I don't know what fruit to blend that will cleanse my system naturally. I just tire.

Madam Rbae ....abeg pass am to me biko. Lemme help u kip ds fud in my tummy until you can eat.

I just found out I am pregnant. 6 weeks and 6 days. I don't have any symptoms at all. The only reason I went to the hospital was to check if I had malaria because I was feeling really sick and no appetite. Then the doctor advised I do a preganacy test. I just want to know if it's normal not to have any symptoms. I didn't take any malaria medicine, when I could not cope with the way I was feeling, I took paracetamol and now I feel better.

I know God gave me this pregnancy as a miracle. I am just wondering why I don't have any symptoms.

Its normal sis. Be thankful u dont. I also didnt have symptoms at this stage. Only had the "food in the throat" feeling and fatigue later arnd 8 to 10weeks.

I understand how you feel. I was concerned too. I'll advise u have an early scan to calm you. You can have a transvaginal now or wait till week 8 and have an abdominal scan.

Thank you. Watermelon calms me for like 10mins only. I just stopped taking folic acid and started pregnacare plus thinking it will help ease d nausea and vomiting. But its the same or worse. I am 10weeks gone. Someone helppppppp

My doc told me pregnacare can worsen neusea for some people. Hence should be started at 2nd trimester . Folic acid will be sufficient for now

Good evening my e-sisters please I really need your prayers in this trying time for me and my family, my hubby has been duped(millions of naira) just got the shock of his life yesterday the goods he has been expecting from the company he buys from since last month has not been delivered, the transporter keep saying the car is faulty and different stories only for him to get to the headquarter on Monday and it was disclose that the man is no longer working there, imagine me in this kind of mess I have cried and cried all night and day asking God why now with my unborn baby, since Sunday I have been having pain below my left pelvic, google says it round ligament pain but mind is very severe cos It get worse when I lie down or walk, had to sit all through the night to get a little relieve, right now no money to even go for scan to know if my baby is doing fine or what might cause the pains, me that hoped to start buying baby things this month where do I start from I have been crying since morning I just pray my bp isn't affected.

I'm so sorry hun. It's ok to let your heart out. But bear in mind that just like every other thing, it will soon pass. May your pockets be replenished in trilllion folds. Be strong mama
