thebigkendo:I'm on the fence about it too. The act itself is not but assets can be frozen because of it. |
Y'all.. I'm DEAD
|
BluStreak:Routine maintenance |
sultaan:To make up for it's crappy resale value ![]() |
nurey:All years and models of Ford sir ![]() Also, y'all know Ford is not making cars in North America any more right? Just trucks, the focus and the mustang. GM way planning to do the same I'm not sure if a decision has been made yet. So... Probably not best idea to buy a Ford car now because in the future there will be no parts. Same as Daewoo did. |
osarodon:Diagnoses are free with repair. Otherwise, N2,500 |

senatrpaichulo:We were taking about USA not Germany or Canada |
sacramento1212:Ask him if it was titled previously or not and if the dealer knew it was for export. Also, what country did it come from? My facts are about the USA. Did you read the first link which is the official government customs site? Also, why does a new car have a dent? Obviously it wasn't straight from dealer and if it was and they keep doing it, sooner or later they will catch up to them. A word is enough for the wise. Do what you want. |
Aspacng:These are the proper specs for your car. You will need a full 5 litres/quarts of 5w30 for an oil change. You do not need synthetic. You can use conventional if you choose. Just keep up with the recommended mileage and/or time between changes as appropriate.
|
sacramento1212:In that case, OMG what was I typing the first time...? |
sacramento1212:It's been like that for about ten years or so |
Aspacng:Year and make of car please |
LeJeun3:Thank you. Dealerships even stamp "not for export" on the title now. https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/307/~/requirements-for-exporting-a-vehicle-%28including%3A-snowmobile%2C-atv-and-motorcycle%29 http://www.autonews.com/article/20140721/LEGALFILE/307219975/selling-vehicles-for-export-angers-automakers-but-is-it-illegal%3F http://www.customsesq.com/exporting-new-and-used-vehicles-from-the-united-states-to-an-overseas-buyer/ To answer your question about how people do it:: https://qz.com/153195/how-to-export-bmws-from-the-us-to-china-for-fun-and-profit-note-this-is-possibly-illegal/ |
sacramento1212:I used to work for two car dealerships and still have contacts. The last three cars in my family, we had to buy demos with less than 5000 miles that had been titled because there dealers are no longer allowed to see brand new vehicles for import. It is not enough to title it. It also has to change title once if you don't want to wait. |
sacramento1212:No you can't. You would have to buy new, title it, then hold for a year before you can ship it |
thebigkendo:No. It has been illegal for years. The dealership will get fined. It's to protect sales of overseas dealerships which were getting decimated by imports from USA |
osarodon:It could be a number of things. Most basic, check your Sparks and fuel injectors. If you're in Lagos, just bring it in for a diagnosis. You'll be in and out quickly. |
dru23:LMAO. person dey see steak wan chop burger? |
Obviously he knows nothing about coolant. Before your start a thread, educate yourself on the topic. Go Google zerex. Prestone LMAO! We carry that as well but first go educate yourself. Here is a starting point for you https://www.benzworld.org/forums/c208-a208-clk-class/1661196-difference-between-coolants-prestone-zerex-g.html?t=1661196&=1 |
GAZZUZZ:Yup... Or at least keeping them limping if not fully mobile. We used them all the time in USA. Difference being the parts are usually good and most of them give you some kind of warranty/return period |
sacramento1212:This is the right coolant for your car. Will last you 5 years or 150,000 miles N10,220. Already mixed so just pour. http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=ANT&partNumber=675130 |
