I don't know about lagos politics because I don't live there to know the outcome of the election there. I live in the south and I am telling you that GEJ will be lucky if he gets above 60% in states SS like Rivers and Edo. He has done nothing for us or me apart from setting a university in his village and paying touts like Tompolo money.

Take it or leave it, this case will be decided on friday and if GMB/APC‘s counsels fail to make good represantation of their clients, GMB will be disqualifed t the time they cant even approach the apeal court to appeal the judgement.

I doubt you know how the judiciary work in Nigeria. This case is going to be decided after the elections because court cases are not rush like that in Nigeria.
Anyway, Why are you so scared of Buhari being in ballot paper since you so much believe in GEJ winning the election. It seems pdp only hope of winning the election is by getting buhari disqualified because they know Nigerians will not vote them in or allow rigging this time around.

Bro, GEJ is not getting 100% of SS and SE votes. I am from the SS and there are millions of people like me who will not vote for GEJ because he is a failed president. Even in the SE, GEJ is not going to get 100% vote. Didn't you see the turnout for Buhari in imo state. The court is not going to rule on this case till after the elections. How can a court decide on a case when it has not even have its first hearing?

it seems like you don't know how the Nigerian courts work. How can a court rule on case when it has not even have any hearing on the case? The court is going to rule on the case after the election and Buhari is going to be the APC candidate for the election. God is not a politician so keep God out of politics. The best candidate is going to win and GMB is the people's choice. Nigerians are tired of 16 yrs of failed pdp rule. Didn't you see the massive turn out for our next president in Owerri yesterday? I know matter-of-factly that the overall outlook of our economy has witnessed steady growth since the commencement of admin of GEJ.
The industrial base is beginning to gain a foothold andd the economy is more diversified now than ever before since oil became our the mainstay of our economy. for the first time in a very long time the prices of our foodstuff have not witnessed high inflation even though the valuecurrency of naira sharply dropped against the dollar..
Note that the sharp decline in naira value in relation to the dollar is because in the global foreign exchange market the dollar has been rallying against every other currencies mainly due to drop in oil price and the most adversely affected countries are oil exporting nations such as Saudi,Russia and of course Nigeria..i personally see the situation as a blessing in disguise because the current exchange rate will make the prices of our agricultural products and other exports attractive and competitive.

how do you want me to support my claims when you can clearly see that unemployment and underemployment is increasing in Nigeria. Our economy is only growing on paper but in reality things are getting worse with inflation on the increase.
In 2007, the price of oil per barrel was 40 dollars and when OBJ became president in 1999 the price of oil was about 10 dollars per barrel. Currently the price of oil is about 40 dollars and once peak to 100 dollars during GEJ administration. This government got more revenue from oil sales than previous government in Nigeria history. Anyway, Countries like Saudi arabia did devalued their currency ( you can check it up on Google) The value of the Saudi currency is about 5 Riyadh to the dollar. Also the main reason Russian currency lost its value is because of the sanctions from EU and US not because of fall in oil price.
What I am just trying to say is that this government has not performed well in the area of the economy. Anyways, PDP has been in power for 16 years but has failed to diversify our economy so we don't depend only on oil sales. Oil still account for about 70-80% of our revenue just like in 1999 when pdp took power

Most Rivers people don't know how Engr Tele Ikuru look like. The man is just a ceremonial deputy governor and he is not an heavy weight in rivers politics

Like seriously? I read on vanguard and on nairaland that Gen. Buhari while on campaign in Imo state assured Nigerians that once he is elected and sworn into office he will ensure that one Nigerian naira will exchange for one US dollar.
Please i want those exceptionally knowledgeable in monetary economics and international trade to tell us how feasible this will be and the overall effect on our economy.

what economy achievements are you talking about? The naira was 130 against the dollars in 2007 when OBJ left office. Its now 210 against the dollar. Is that an achievement to you? Our foreign reserve has been reduced by half since GEJ become president and our external debt has double since OBJ left. Is that an economic achievements to you? The unemployment rate has increased with millions of youths underemployed or unemployed. Is that an economic achievement to you?
Bro, The economic situation is getting worse and not improving. Anyways, its possible to make the dollar equal to the naira with the right economic policies like reducing corruption, reducing of importation and diversifying our economy by relying less on oil.

Gov Ameachi, The people of Rivers State are with you. You are one of the best governors in Rivers state history. We will not allow thugs like Wike, GEJ and PEJ destroy our great state. We don't want to experience the kind of violence that plague rivers state from 99-2007. You brought peace and development to Rivers state and may God continue to protect you. China with all her industrial revolution,military might,technology and strong foreign reserves,doesn't have a currency that is equal to the U.S dollars. Maybe you guys want to repeat the Abacha magic where dollar was sold at 22naira to a dollar at the cbn,but was sold at 80naira to a dollar at the black market.

Honestly,the type of utterances Buhari makes about what He'd do to the economy if He wins,scares me a lot. The other day,he said He would stabilize oil prices(globally). Today,he wants to make 1 naira equal to a dollar. Only God knows what He'd come up with tomorrow.

Nigeria has not gotten to the level of China and India because 16 yrs of PDP failed rule. Yet you still want us to continue voting for pdp when you just stated that pdp has not been able to improve our economy to the level of China and India. I rather vote for someone who has the mind to improve the value of the naira.

Please, Buhari's handlers should give him a script to read from; it's better to read from a well defined, written piece of paper than him attempting to impress the public with his chosen words. The thought of a presidential candidates making such promises beats my imagination, not only does it show deficiency on his part, it's an insult to Nigerians at-large. Biko, call him to order... No more Mitt Romney gaffes..

There is nothing wrong with his statement. The problem is that the mentality of Nigerians are so low that they believe that a president can make the naira equal to the dollars. if we have the right economic policies like reduction of importation and relying too much on oil.
