GEJ really messed up the opourtunity given to him to rule Nigeria. If I was GEJ, I would have focus on the Electricity sector and try increase the national grid from 3000mw to at least 50,000mw so that Nigerians who enjoy at least 18 hrs of power supply every day. 6 yrs in office is a long time to improve the power sector but instead he squandered the opourtunity of improving the power sector by firing Prof. Barth and replacing him with an incompetent minister of power. GEJ would have enjoy the goodwill of Nigerians if he had just improve the power sector and improve the security situation in the north. But its too late for that because most Nigerians are disappointed with his government

Jonathan should forget the core muslim north and south west. From my day to day interaction with them I can conclude that they attach sentiments to politics. When u talk to a south westerner he grumbles that they have not being appointed to key positions in this government. The core north destroyed this country by institutionalizing corruption. If ur name was not abubakar or Mohammed could you get some jobs, could u rise above a particular level in the civil service. Some of us remember what Nigeria was like in the 80's and 90's when the north held sway. Goodluck is not my ideal candidate to rule this country but my annoyance is this born to rule attitude of the north and west. I also knew it would come to this in 2015. The problems of Nigeria didn't start with Goodluck and won't even end with him. We as Nigerians should have a way of checkmating our leaders, the executive arm of government is not the only problem of this country.the legislature is weak and corrupt likewise the judicial system. The state governors are a topic for another day and some people keep fooling themselves that Buhari will just come and wave a magic wand and everything would be okay in Nigeria. May God keep us to still be a nation the best thing that would happen to this country is to fall back to the regional system of government let every region sustain itself this same north will still oppose thus idea we can't continue existing as a country where there exits no equity and justice. APC didn't have the courtesy of picking a VP candidate from the south south or south east even if buhari was the best option as presidential candidate and u expect some of us to be comfortable with this type of party? PDP is corrupt but they are the only party that have a nationalistic and unifying stand as regards this country

most presidents or leaders don't write their speech. Even GEJ or Obama has speech writers that are employed to write their speech or letters for them. Did you really think it was Obama that wrote that speech he made to Nigerians last week? Obama was reading from a screen when giving that speech to Nigeria on the election. Also If you have ever attended any event that GEJ was present, you will discovered that GEJ usually read his speech too

It seems pdp are not the opposition party in Nigeria that always cry babies. PDP should wait till next week when they lose the election before they start their new role as the new opposition party in Nigeria.

APC might not win Imo or Rivers but I am expecting at least 30% to APC in Imo, Rivers and Edo. Buhari will do well in most southern states this time around because most people in the south are not happy with GEJ performance in the last 6 yrs. Buhari will get a landslide victory in the north and do very well in the south so I expect APC to win

Rivers state is not a battleground state, it will go to PDP, along with imo state and pretty much all the states in green. Despite buhari massive support in the north and west, it will not be as solidly red as projected here, there will be patches of blue which is just what PDP needs to pull it off, this was the electoral map in 2011 and frankly I see little change.

GEJ is not going to get the 2 million votes he got in 2011 in Imo and Rivers state this time around. He might win rivers but it will not be a landslide victory for him in Imo and Rivers State. I know you are not going to agree with this statement but pdp is not going to win this time around. Alot of things has change since 2011

bro, 16 yrs of PDP is enough to improve the power situation in Nigeria considering that they have had trillion of dollars revenue from oil sales. We have made more money in the last 16 yrs than during the military rule. Before PDP took the value of the naira was 100 to the dollar. Now its over 200 to the dollars. The unemployment and underemployment rate is in double digits with millions of graduates out of work.
I am not saying APC is a party of saints but lets try something different other than pdp because they have had 16 yrs . If they APC fail Nigerians just like pdp we will vote them out in 4 yrs time.

PDP are people with brains and high intellect but they cant fixed Nigeria power problem for the past 16 yrs, millions of Nigerians are living in proverty, Nigeria is one of the most unsafe countries in the world with over 18 thousands Nigerians killed in the last 5 yrs.
