We forget the north is a region and not an ethnic group. The ethnic groups have little to nothing to do with each other outside of being north of the Niger and Benue rivers but we want to group them as one. Buhari has ran an election every single election season and has always lost. When he wins on a state level the margins are still close. The truth is that Buhari doesn't have broad appeal to the North. While his Fulani brothers, and Hausa associates may be ok with him (usually the poorer more radical of these two groups), there are hundreds of groups in the North that constantly say no to Buhari every single 4 years.

My proof that the same buhari people saying that if GEJ came to the north there would be no crowd, that there's no PDP in Kano etc etc. GEJ rocked Kebbi and Sokoto, and supporters came in waves. I've never been one to believe in crowd counting because I'm not naive about how it works in this country but truth be told a GEJ crowd in the north is different for one clear reason.

These people risked their life to see GEJ. All month we have been hearing that people will be attacked, PDP members are being attacked. We have video footage of a truck being destroyed. We saw what happened last year. Plus there's now Boko Haram in the north that can hide among crowds, and still tens and thousands of people risked their life to see GEJ that were told to have been his 'enemies'.

This action has revived my respect for the North. It seems there's more to be known about the people of the North than the media allows us to hear. If there was a risk of death most southerners wouldn't even go to their own father's rally.

Must everything be about tribe to you. I guess you live in the west. And I am sure you have witness the 2008 and 2012 US elections. Most people in US voted for their presidential candidates based on real issue rather than on race, religion or ethnicity. this was how Obama won both elections. Why cant we Nigerians living in the west encourage Nigerians to vote for their prefer candidates based on real issues that affect them rather than play the tribal and religious politics like most uneducated Nigerians. I don't see anything wrong in you supporting PDP if your reason for supporting them is based on the party and candidate manifesto rather than the ethnicity or religion of the candidate. I am for the Niger delta and although I am not going to vote because I don't currently reside in Nigeria. I don't support PDP because I no longer believe in the party principles and they have failed Nigerians for the past 15 yrs. I just hope all Nigeria will be wise this time around and vote for their prefer candidates based on real issues affecting the country and their community because 54 yrs of tribal politics has taken us nowhere and has made us one of the poorest and unsafe countries on earth.

The people planning to " CHANGE " Nigeria, are going to the same OLD GENERALS that stole, looted, mismanaged and rape the country for endorsement ? Wow Wow!! There was a country, for sure.

Buahri, has contested election four times, what stopped IBB and Obasanjo from endorsing him then? It wasn't convenient for them then? Or they just realized that Nigeria really need change and only Buhari, can bring the change??

Killing him over drugs is because the drugs he was going to peddle was going to kill several other lives, destroy destinies and wreck homes. Look around you and see what marijuana is already causing not to talk of hard drugs.
Their laws are harsh you might say but if they don't take drastic measures they may end up like America.

There is nothing wrong in smoking Marijuana because its not a drug but plant. however I think synthesis drugs like cocaine and crack is bad for consumption. I don't think its right to kill someone over smuggling drugs. The sentencing is just too harsh.

The president don't write his speech. most presidents including Obama have professional speech writers that help them write their speech. This is the reason GEJ is always boring when giving a speech because he just read through the speech without first studying it.

its better to import a woman from Africa than marry an Akata. The most important thing is to make sure you take time to know her before importing her to US. why are you comparing US army and the Nigeria army. Even a f00l knows the most poorly equipped US army unit is much better equipped than our army. Why did you think those soldiers sentenced to dead refused to fight boko haram, They all complain that they were not well equipped with weapons. why should Buhari show the public his certificate? did GEJ show us his Certificate or did you see OBJ certificate when he contest for presidency? Buhari attended NDA like OBJ and back then NDA was not a degree awarding institution. PDP did not complaint about OBJ showing is certificate when he contest in 99 and 2003.

Buhari attended NDA and NDA was not a degree awarding institution back then. he also attended war colleges in India , UK and US. infact he attended one of the best military school in the world. Military degrees is different from Civilian degree and Buhari had a lot of achievements as a military officer. Just because he attended military school don't make him an illiterate. even obasanjo didn't attend a regular university but NDA and different war colleges. OBJ presented his waec certificate for inec during his election and it wasn't an issue then.

some of your analysis is wrong. The election is going to be determined by SS and SE state. GEJ don't really need to win the SW states all he need is to get 25% of SW states vote. In the 2011 election, PDP got the following votes: Ogun- 300,177 votes; Osun - 188,409, Oyo; 484,758 votes, Ekiti: 135,009. The total of this 4 SW states is 1.1 million votes. however in Delta state: PDP got 1.3 million vote which is about 200k more than the 4 SW states I listed above. All GEJ/PDP need to do is to make sure they win the SS and SE states with a landslide victory like in 2011 and try to get about 40% votes in SW and north states

If the election is free and fair like INEC has promise, I don't see PDP winning the presidential election. In the 2011 election, GEJ got over 50% of his vote from SS and SE states because the election was rigged to favour him. I was in Delta state during the 2011 presidential election and the turn out was really low but I was surprise when INEC declared that over 1 million people voted for GEJ. The election is going to be determined by which party rig more and I think PDP has more resources to out rig APC because they are master in the rigging game. As for me, I don't plan on voting because the result has already be determined and I don't see PDP losing the election..

Not all Igbo and Niger Deltans support GEJ. If the election ends up being free and fair, you would be surprise that GEJ wont win most SS and SE states with a huge margin. I am from Delta and I can tell you most people here are disappointed with GEJ and many wont vote for him because the voting turn out will be very low.
