Congrats. I am happy for you and your gf. Good luck on being a dad |
Marvin67:The army claims they have been gaining ground in the battle of boko haram since last year. The honest truth is if we wait for the army to resolve this boko haram problem before the election to hold, then election wont hold this year because we still have a long way to go before there is will peace in the north east. The election should not be postpone because of boko haram. We shouldnt allow them hold the country to ransom. |
hedonistic:it happens everywhere in the world. I know in the US, you cant register for the election in California and expect to use your voting card to vote in New York. Your vote only count at the county (LGA) and state you register to vote at. If people are allow to vote outside their register ward or state, it would increase the chance of rigging. |
J12:So you expect INEC to come to your house and give you your PVC ? I register in PH when I was still in Uniport but I had to travel from my state to PH to get my PVC. If you are really serious about voting then go back to Enugu to get your PVC. |
ozoigbondu:Yes Timprie Slyva is corrupt but he as corrupt as GEJ and his wife were corrupt when he was deputy gov and governor of Bayelsa State. Anyway, Bayelsa is one of the most corrupt state in Nigeria with huge resources from the federal government and the smallest population in Nigeria that state should have been one of the most develop state in Nigeria. But they keep voting for corrupt leaders. Imagine them voting for corrupt Ex Gov Alamasegha for senate again. |
criminalmindz:lol. You must be high on weed if you think Wike and PDP will win Rivers State. Rivers people will reject your Thug Godfather Wike. We in Rivers don't want to go back to the days of thuggery and violence in Rivers state. We have already decide to vote for APC in all the elections and we will shame you, your illiterate godmother Patience Jonathan and your thug Godfather Wike. |
criminalmindz:Shut up!!! We Rivers people love Ameachi. People from Ikwerre, Ogoni, Kalabari, Ahoada, Okirika and all across Rivers State all got love for our amiable governor. We are going to reject Wike and PDP in Rivers State. Ameachi is the best governor in Rivers State history. |
My advice to you is to get a second wife. |
Pidgin English is the most spoken language in Nigeria. |
musiwa97:what are you talking about treaty? The Nigeria constitution allows any Nigerian irrespective of tribe to contest election in any state as long as he reside in the state and pay his taxes. It good for the aspirant to learn the language of the locals so he can communicate easily with them |
Too late for that GEJ. I didn't benefit anything from you and Uduaghan. I cant wait for Febuhari 14th to vote out PDP from my Delta state. PDP has failed Delta state for over 16 years. |
This is why I don't like sitting on the front seat when travelling long distance journey on a commercial bus. Front seat passengers usually feel the impact of the accident more |
Mikel, I hope you learn your lesson from Celestine Babayaro who got bankrupt after leaving Chelsea and retiring from football. You should invest your money well and save for the raining days. I wish you good luck sha. |
Oya make una start to confess. Breeze don blow fowl yanch. |
Ifebazz:yoruba people are always the majority in camp. Agwu camp Enugu was like an extention of a yoruba village. They always make noise arguing and are always loud. |
temitemi1:sai Buhari |
Its just another election promise by politicians so you will vote for them |
tuniski:I think you miss the point he is trying to say. We all know GEJ will win Rivers and lose Kano but the honest truth is that GEJ losing the Gov of Kano and rivers means that he might end up losing hundred of thousands of vote. I don't see GEJ getting the 2.8 million vote he got in 2011 in rivers state and Buhari will get more than 1% of the vote he got in 2011 in rivers. In Nigeria elections, governors are influential than the president because they control the grassroot structure of the state political system. No doubt GEJ will win rivers but will not get the 2.8 million vote he got in 2011 because he lost ameachi to the opposition. GEJ might not also get the 20% he got in 2011 in Kano because of the Kano governor influence. All the northern governors like Lamido, Niger state gov that helped GEJ get more than 20% in their states in the 2011 elections are not really in good terms with GEJ and have not really helped in their state campaign so far and some of the pdp candidates even refuse to put GEJ picture in their campaign posters. |
GEJ is not a good politician and I think he would probably lose the elections. He should have learn from OBJ. Before the 2003 elections, OBJ had similar problems with some governors and Atiku but OBJ played his game well and was able to buy the support of all the PDP govenors and Atiku. OBJ also made some promises to the then northern politicians so they would support his re election in 2003. This was what help OBJ defeat Buhari. but after the 2003 elections, OBJ was able to control the PDP machinery and expelling most of the northern politicians that gave him problem during his first tenure including Atiku, the PDP chairman Audu Ogbeh. GEJ should have waited till after the 2015 elections before fighting with politicians like Ameachi, Saraki and Ex PDP governors. GEJ should have been loyal to Ameachi and those Ex pdp governors and try to pleased them as much as possible so that he can have a united party before the elections. |
Most of them cant even vote because they are underage |
People should stop blaming INEC. Nigerians like fire brigade approach to things. Is it Jega fault that some people don't want to collect their pvc? Even if the elections are move to 2019, INEC would not have 80% pvc collection. Some people just don't want to spend 3hrs under the sun to collect their pvc. The PVC are ready so those that are serious about voting should go collect their pvc. |
temitemi1:do you know where Niger state is located in the map? |
Monimatic:you are a nasty bigot. |
Gboliwe:which Abia are you talking about? Abia is a PDP state and we are voting for all PDP candidates in both federal and state elections. PDP in Abia till 2019. |
zendy:SE/SS wont have too much effect in this elections like in 2011. Do you know that the sum total of SS and SE PVC collection is not even up to the total PVC collection in NW alone . Even if buhari losses all the states in these regions, he can still win the elections. Unlike in 2011, when buhari got less than 3% in SS and SE , This year I do believe APC will likely get about 20% in rivers, Edo and Imo because most of the federal house of rep candidates in these APC states will want their supporters to vote for APC presidential candidates. |
EUROBOMBER:those are not Libya weapons. I don't think boko haram have the necessary logistics to transports those heavy weapons from Libya. All those weapons are Nigeria army weapons that were left when our army retreat from their army base. I would have expected the army to destroy the weapons before retreating so the weapons don't fall into the hands of boko haram. |
victorazy:No need to trace the source of these weapons because those are Nigeria army weapons. I just don't know why our army don't destroy the weapons in their army base before they retreat from a battle with boko haram. No reasonable army would want their weapons in the hands of their enemy. I believe that 98% of all boko haram weapons are gotten from the Nigeria army when they abandon their weapons to retreat.. |
konjivity:the truth is that everyone cant collect pvc before the elections. Even if elections is move to 2019, I doubt inec would have 80% pvc collection rate |
M0rons!!! Is it Inec fault that many people have not collected their PVC. Even if the elections is shifted to 2019, the collection rate will still not be 100%. Some people just don't want to collect their pvc now because they don't plan on voting. Also many people have move from their original place of registration. I registered in Uniport campus when I was still attending the Uniport but I no longer live in PH and don't plan on collecting my pvc until I visit PH in 2 or 3 months time. Also many people have died or register multiple times in various states. The elections should not be postpone because of PVC, those that are serious about voting should go collect their pvc because its ready for distribution |
