HealthRe: I Have Turned Into An Introvert Because Of My Scar. Please Help by raindrop99: 11:33am On May 20, 2020
somehelpington:
Good day all. I'll try to be brief and detailed.

I had to open a new account to stay anonymous because most of my friends come here to read news.

Pardon my english please. It all started in April of 2018. My friend told me that there was this trader nearby who needed our help to move her container shop. I think we were 6 in number or so that went to do the job. After which we were paid 400 naira each, some got 300.

While moving the container to the spot she directed us, the guy beside me left the container without informing me or should I say his hands slipped off. (Only God knows). The container gave me a deep sharp cut on my left arm. huh huh

There and then, I was rushed to a nearby chemist store to dress the wound, at the expense of the owner of the container, but I refused to take tetanus injection. For more than 6 months, the wound was taking forever to heal.

Around October 2018, My mum took me to one hospital near our house. It was when the doctor told us that the wound has already been infected, that was why it refused to heal or close up, and that the alternative was to cut off the infected surface and then stitch it up. huh After all and all, my mum paid 2 to 4k, (I've forgotten the exact amount). I was booked for operation on Friday morning.

I got to the hospital around 10 in the morning. The doctor gave me some injections on my left arm. She told me to lie down on the bed and close my eyes. tongue Before then, I think I saw one of the nurses giving her the surgical blade (very sharp). shocked shocked There and then, she proceeded to cut of the infected surface, which I think lasted roughly 1 hour. After that, she began to stitch it up. I could feel what was going on grin grin but I don't think it hurt me either, maybe it was because of the injection. When she was done, she used plaster to cover it up and told me to be coming for injections for one week.

After one week, I went back to the hospital, where one of the nurses had to remove the plaster and surgical thread after bombarding my buttocks with injections for 7 days. grin grin After some days, I noticed the surface began to inflate on a daily basis. We went back the hospital and the doctor told my mum to buy what the Igbos call Abuba Eke (snake skin) to rub on the surface. After using it for some days, I noticed it wasn't working, which means it was not the original Abuba Eke.

Fast forward to March of 2019, we went to another hospital, where we met one doctor like that, I can't remember what they called him but I think he's in charge of skin related issues. (That was not before paying 2k for card). Even after explaining our predecament to him, he still insisted we should get the card.

After that, he directed us to Orchard Pharmacy, to go get one injection like that. It's sold for 2k and the bottle is very small. He said it would be the best treatment, that after giving me the injection for like 2 or 3 times, it would flatten the scar, because it was a keloid scar and that if I should decide to operate on it, which he would advise us not to, that it might still come back after sometimes in a bigger form. All this made me scared. sad

Well, we came back with the bottle injection which he gave me 3 times right beside the scar, it was very painful but I am a man. grin grin After sometimes, I noticed the scar got inflated and was like about to get burst. When we got home, It was now flatter than it was. Due to money issues, we didn't go back to the hospital. (Chai, I must make am) sad

Now, I am very confused at this point. I don't know if I should go to the village to collect the Abuba Eke (snake skin) my grandma bought to be using on the scar or we should go back to the hospital (in search of the man, that's if he's still there) to collect the remaining injections. huh huh

I know my case is not the worst and I still have hope because I believe, My current situation is not my final destination.

Please I need your help and contributions.

NB: Please don't come here to tell me to go and make money first, as if money equals peace of mind. sad sad

I'd be grateful if it gets to the front page.
Baba u dnt have problem if the scar in the pic is what u are talking abt. Me that have scar on my face nko. Should i kill my self?..Mtcheeeew

Uncle, believe ds article at your own risk, I started having affair in the dream with a girl I was trying hard to bleep in my str to no avail until one night the dream come land and na for my bed I fvck her wild until I heard a knock on the door, I showed her the escape route while I dash to open the door for my mum, it was after opening the door that I realised that I was on my bed dreaming and guess what? My boxers was stained with my seed. Ever since that incident, I keep having such dreams ones in a while until it got to a point I started rubbing some religious oil b4 going to bed and such worked for me as I now get someone obstructing the sex in the dream or atimes I will feel like someone tapped my leg whenever such dream so appear only to wake and see nothing. Fear ds world we are right now, sh*ts are happening bro.
It happened 2 u cos u where thinking of sex with the said girl in the physical..most dreams (sex or no sex) are reflection of the days activities and our thought, thats why u can had a bad dream when u watched an horror movie b4 going 2 bed..

If u had stop thinking of sexual activities with the said girl, i tell u, the dreams will stop..Its normal, nothing spiritual abt it.

When i think too much sex or lust over the opposite sex excessively, it happen 2 me too but will eventually stop when i let go of my emotions.

SS kids of the olden days where tagged spiritual manipulation cos of the frequent sickness but civilization has taught us that its gender mismatch.

Even twin kids where said 2 be of spiritual influence and tagged 'abormination'

Many still believe that sleep paralysis is spiritual manipulation..

The world have evolved but it seems 2 me that our idea abt spirituality has not evolved.

Intelligence of course is never the same thing as creativity, and any right thinking person should know that it takes the former to get to the latter.
How can you say someone is creative but not very intelligent. And what is even your definition of intelligence? What makes you think that scientists hold any kind of intellectual superiority over artists, "because their works seem spooky and difficult to grasp, hence they should and must be regarded as more intelligent, is too haughtily ignorant a line of argument I must say.
Adichie would certainly go down as one of the most intelligent figures ever to contribute to.literature in Africa and the world at large, trying to argue against that reality would By consequence, unintendedly make one sound stupid and sincerely so.
Scientists are regarded as the most intelligent and creative peeps on planet earth..

Their discovries and inventions forms the basics of industrialization and civilization which the whole world can be thankful for
Take 4 instance, the likes of M. Faraday that invented electricity, peeps that invented mobile phone, television, internet, cars and other earth moving equipments etc. without these things, we would still be living in the stone age.

Novels and speeches has never been seen as the bedrock for industrialization and national development but science and technology is and will always be..
Though i consider Adichie as role model sha

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Man Kneels For Nnamdi Kanu In Israel For Blessings (Pics) by raindrop99: 11:59pm On Mar 14, 2019
Leonel55:
What manner of Followership!

It is only ignorance & half baked literacy that can make people sheepishly follow someone like Nnamdi Kanu, who, by his own choosing, calls himself ' the supreme leader'.

Check with the following:

A man like Kanu who calls himself 'supreme leader' without anyone giving him power can only transform into a tyrannical, autocratic leader when actual political power is placed on him, and given the way he makes careless pronouncements & orders, I have no doubt about him becoming a tyrant.

A supposed 'leader' who runs to hide in the face of danger, with his followers being killed, is no leader: It would be suicidal for anyone to sheepishly follow such a loudmouthed, selfish, cowardly 'leader':
He causes the trouble with his unguarded careless pronouncements & yet flees cowardly into hiding at the appearance of danger, leaving his followers & all those who vouched for him with their money & reputation to bear the brunt of his reckless actions. He can only be the leader of gullible Igbos who're too ignorant & intellectually handicapped to realize it

A man who single handedly associated Biafra as an offshoot of Israel & single handedly named Judaism as the religion of 'Biafra' for a predominantly Christian population, without the general consensus, input or agreement of Igbos, shows he is not looking for a country of people with shared equality, constitutionality & democracy: he is looking for a kingdom of people to tell what to do; people to lord over..

A man who wants his words to be law & so goes about making warlike pronouncements & giving reckless orders without recourse to the danger such careless pronouncements pose to the lives & properties of Igbos living in various communities across Nigeria, outside of Igbo Land, is not someone to follow sheepishly: a leader puts the wellbeing of those he leads first!

Such a man who wants everything he says, no matter how untrue, ill mannered or destructive, to be followed sheepishly without questioning can only be fit to lead a cult or a gang, not a nation..

Those ignorantly & sheepishly following Nnamdi KANU in his monarchial styled Biafra, filled with hate, violence & propaganda, are living in a fools paradise. They fail to realize that they're actually rooting to move from marginalization to servitude & slavery under Kanu. That's not smart!

Wake up, you dumb a**! Use your head & think!

If Biafra is to be achieved, Igbos & their leaders (Governors, sociocultural groups, traditional rulers) must come together, & first start by creating a united, prosperous, self-sufficient Igbo land, within the present Nigerian state, aiming to achieve:

1. A land conducive for all levels of business & industry, making it attractive for investment

2. A land where the roads are well constructed & connected across the five south-eastern states;

3. A land that'll be self sufficient in efficient electricity production & distribution;

4. A land where the airports across all 5 States are world class & fully functional;

5. A land that is self-sufficient in food production through intensive investment in agriculture;

6. A land with a world class sea port, where there's access to the sea through any of the 5 states;

& so much more... You don't need to have an official country before you start collectively developing the South-east & preparing to function as a nation.

These are just a few of the things to consider before any serious talk of Biafra should begin
Those rooting for Biafra now (the Nnamdi KANU way) are ignorant of the fact that a new country that does not have all the above mentioned basics would would only be launching its people into untold hardship.

These things need to be in place & functioning efficiently years before there is a Biafra. This would ensure a smooth transition from Nigeria to Biafra when it eventually happens. Without having provided for such beforehand, the new country would be a disaster for the people involved..

Part of the disaster is this:

If these basic requirements are not available & functional when Biafra is eventually achieved, Biafra & its people will be at the mercy of Nigeria for these services (& so many others like communication, electricity, etc) especially, if it is achieved the Kanu styled aggressive, propaganda laced way. It would definitely put the newly birthed 'Biafra' at loggerheads with Nigeria & God help Nd'Igbo if such is the case

Also note that when Biafra is eventually achieved Igbos all across Nigeria would first have to return to Igbo land & expectedly, apply for visas to enter Nigeria (for those who would want to return) or, where Biafra is accepted into ECOWAS, enter using ECOWAS passports.

And going by the experiences of past attempted separation, vast wealth of Igbo investments & properties stand to be lost or largely reduced, depending on the manner of separation...

And for those using marginalization as an excuse for Biafra: they should know that having Biafra would not put an end to marginalization. It would only make it more local within Biafra eventually, because as long as there's some form of difference in tribal identity, marginalization would always rear its ugly head. It won't be long before Igbos in one state would claim that indigenes of another state are too dominant in steering the affairs of the new Biafra.
Best write up so far. Very true.. . Funny enough most Igbos here will hate u for this. Truth is always bitter

Security operatives and thugs fermented trouble and many of PDP supporters couldn't cast their votes.

Major reason while bubu won.
