You know I always frowned at people being ill-mannered but I think you deserve all the foul language for flaunting your stupidy with conceit. I will "never" be like you, and will only say "I love you" when I've got a deep sense affection and passion for the girl concerned. You should really check yourself! |
You know, last I checked, google still use to return search results Android is an Operating System like Maemo (soon to be Meego) and a bunch of others. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_(operating_system)Google don't have a phone of their own, but you'd find the OS on many HTCs. I've heard that HTC has built a phone according to Google's (Android Developer's) specs. but that's about it. |
It's definitely just the Taxi driver's "way of life", if it got into the wrong hands, say Bye Bye to th' BB. |
Hey! Lol! Her Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Son, Husband! Great Combo, |
Lol! Not everyone goes FBTing like u |
Haba, You think I downloaded 400MB on my phone? Ofcourse it can be tethered, I haven't tested the newest DM that supports tethering, I've also tried tetherberry on windows and it finished my credit. On ubuntu Linux, I use "berry4all" and it works fine but only in Edge, can't tether in 3G. I'm assuming it's a bug that I have to find a fix for, I've heard that the berry4all devs will get a PPA soon where a later release will be uploaded, I'm hoping it will contain the 3G fix. -[n3rve] |
@Sayso, it really depends on your use, 100 mb can take you for a month, you shouldn't pay for 100MB and stream / download videos / songs, leave auto updates enabled, etc -[n3rve] |
@Honsule, even if we upgrade to 6G (when that is available), it wouldn't really make a difference if the bandwidth is still poor. 3G as it is can deliver way more than they're currently giving us. -[n3rve] |
Lol! Dt's funny, I hvnt used "BES", I use "BIS", and I've downloaded about 400MB between yesterday and this morning. -[n3rve] |
I feel your pain, TheBuilder. I've never even tried Etisalat although I tried to surf with it once on my sister's and page loads were painfully irritating. MTN still remains the best for me. -[n3rve] |
If you're tethering, ofcourse downloads will be possible on a PC. Using the mobile browser, it depends on the phone model really, if it's a browser that supports downloads then you're good to go, else you might need to install a browser like Bolt, or Opera. -[n3rve] |
So Zain has a 1GB limit, with MTN it's unlimited. As regards the MTN Wap browser, it's not their fault really It's just the way BIS was set to be activated on their network. I'm using BIS on MTN and it's awesome, I'll try to write a few guides for people new to BIS on MTN later. -[n3rve] |
MTN has been very stable for me since I activat'd BIS on my and I have unlimited bandwidth. -[n3rve] |
Ofcourse, Jst send the applicable activation code, but I don't see the point unless you want to tether? -[n3rve] |
I'll be honest here, I'v not had any problems on my Bold 9700, as regards the "hotspot browser", you just have to switch it to "Internet Browser" and all will be good. The only issue I have is "tethering", I'm not a windows user and as such can't use the BBM desktop manager, I use a Linux app called "berry4all", and I've been unable to tether in 3G mode, EDGE works perfectly but it's slow. So there's my only problem which I know I'd resolve soon, |
She left 'cos I've got so much money |
@ ralvy how did u change that ctrl port for tortoise in ubuntu?Control Port for what? Communication port for Vidalia to control Tor? I haven’t had to change the default control port: 9051; all I did there was set a personal password instead of letting it generate one. If you cannot get Vidalia to control Tor then I suspect that Tor is already running in background (default behavior in Ubuntu) or perhaps Tor is listening on a different port and Vidalia is expecting another, or you’ve got a conflict (two services trying to tunnel data through a port), but generally speaking, it’s a good idea to check the message log to see what is happening. Based on my experience so far, I feel you’ve installed both Polipo and Privoxy, and perhaps both are running on the same port? That is very possible and could be the root of your problems. Try to stop their services (if they exist) by: sudo /etc/init.d/tor stop sudo /etc/init.d/polipo stop sudo /etc/init.d/privoxy stop …and make the relevant changes in their configuration files. You should also update the Tor executable variable in General Configuration Settings and restart Vidalia. Either way, post the messages in your logs. -[n3rve] |
muyiscoi:Well, Evolution was simple as pie. Configured with gmail and it automatically setup the server parameters as well. Perhaps, an update? -[n3rve] |

Evolution works for me, configured Gmail yesterday. As for your defective copies, where are you? I have all the versions so I can easily give you ISOs if you're close, I'm in Abuja. But why don't you even try a USB install like I suggested earlier? It could be your DVD drive. -[n3rve] |
Make all of wuna sharrap. u should be posting screenshots https://i39.tinypic.com/2cfcqw5.png -[n3rve] |
Lol! How man go do now? Boys aren't smiling ![]() -[n3rve] |
blackweaver:Got it wrong. Startup Manager works great, The Universal USB Installer from Pendrivelinux.com is a win32 app. Unless you're implying that they use Startup Manager during Live mode, but it wouldn't be a logical move seeing that they could just click the "Install" button and get done with it. -[n3rve] |
I just got my Huawei modem configured, just need to install Java so I can setup YF ![]() -[n3rve] |
4ller, you join be crook too na ![]() -[n3rve] |
I use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool (available at: store.microsoft.com/Help/ISO-Tool) You can have it download the .ISO or you can point it to the file. -[n3rve] |
4llerbuntu:Unless it's for distribution, you can boot from a USB. That's how I've installed all my Linux distributions (including Lucid Lynx) and all windows installations as well. I just use different tools for windows and Linux. For Linux, I use Universal USB Installer (available at pendrivelinux.com), with that you can run a Linux Installation in less than 8 minutes, depending on PC specs, of course. -[n3rve] |
Serious management today. It's raining and so there's very bad whether, most likely why.
