This is cheap. I haven't said that those things do exist. For all we know Father Christmas exists. It is quite simplistic to make comparisons of that nature. It trivializes the issue as we both agree that there are sufferers of these conditions. What we don't agree on is what they are suffering from. Be smart dude!

Science is the only means of detecting anything in this universe- even something as abstract as love.

How do you know someone loves you? Well, you can only know if you communicate with the person.
-See how the person talks to you (with respect, friendly tones etc)
-See if the person is willing to do things for you
-See if the person understands or accommodates your eccentricities

While most people don't think about it like science, they are doing scientific research, albeit informally.

-Hypothesis; Does she love me?
-Research parameters- how is love defined and what are the criteria for love (sacrifice, respect, understanding, passion)
-Testing- going out on dates and living together.

Well like other supernatural phenomena, science has failed to explain the phenomenom of spirit spouses. The events described by the sufferers are a far cry from what you term sexomania. Heck, the medical community does not even agree on whether sexomania is a real medical condition. I'll urge you to read up on detailed stories of the sufferers and tell me if their symptoms/complaints are consistent with any known medical/mental disorder.

Jokes aside, spirits and succubi have been in human mythology from the beginning of time. The fact that there has never been any evidence for over thousands of years show that it is a bunch of lies.

This is not arrogance but simple common sense.

As far as science is concerned, ghosts have never been and can never be evidenced.

Who says that science is the only means of detecting things in the universe? You? Is this another display of infinite knowledge?
