LightandDarkness: Also in your hurry you posted a link about Sexomania and not Sexsomnia, totally different things lol. Besidea that you're linking me a blog not an academic publication.
Apologies on the length of the first link. The section on parasomnias mentions the inclusion of sexsomnia in the DSM 5. My mistake. But this is even easier to refute. Sexomnia is described as a form of NREM parasomnia. ie sufferers have no memory of the acts when they wake up. This is very inconsistent with people with spiritual spouses as they remember the whole event. So you see that your sexsomnia hypothesis is dead on arrival. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_sex |

LightandDarkness: Sexomnia is in the DSM 5. You can find journal articles on it. Why did you not put the article here? This article here clearly states that sexomania has not been given recognition by the American Psychiatric Association ie not in DSM-5 or any other DSM. Even if it were, the DSM is not a final authority on mental disorders. Independent practitioners and researches still reserve the right to disagree (Reasonable doubt) http://www.stbotanica.com/blog/is-sexomania-a-real-disease/ |

4everGod: Ranchhodas I see you peeking so let me ask your rational mind....
a guy who claims to be an atheist but still has gospel songs on his phone for years and still listens to them and even knows their lyrics and loves kirk franklin is that a sign of a SWORN ATHEIST? Lol. It's not. I don't think Richard Dawkins has those kinds of songs on his phone. There is no atheist code on the manner of songs they should listen to though, so I think everything is allowed. |

People commit suicide for a myriad of reasons, stigmatization of all kinds are just one of them, so there isn't any big deal there AnonyNymous: You'll stop speaking like this when you have a closeted close gay friend who commits suicide because nobody would accept him. Its not unnatural, as clearly shown by nature. Its just the culture. . . for a long time our culture has not fathomed it as being normal, but I can bet that there were enough closeted gays from a long time ago. European sailors used to f*ck each other all the time, but they never considered it gay because they never attached feelings. In ancient Japan, during the Edo era, being gay, and having romantic and sexual feelings towards males was a thing of honor and pride. It was also common in ancient greco roman culture. Religion changed everything. Its just the same thing as women having rights. It was considered absurd and ridiculous for women to have any rights at all, but now its changed. Its the same way whites of back then never saw any future including them as equals with blacks, but now its changed. Its only a gradual process, and religion is the regressive factor, sane as with women's right, and abloshing slavery. Religion is not regressive in this case, rather it's a ''checkmate''. I'll even argue that the revulsion and contempt for these queer people brought about by our religious and cultural leanings is one of nature's ways of keeping them in check and also ensuring the continued proliferation of our species...PS 450 is a relatively small number compared to the number of species in existence. I won't be surprised if more species are discovered with these queer traits. Unnatural behaviour is not peculiar to humans. |

AnonyNymous: That's funny, considering I am a form of a theist myself - an agnostic deist. Please sir, apart from religious values instilled in our culture, what other reason do people have for unwarranted hatred towards gay people? Please enlighten me. It's unnatural. If it weren't, majority of the world's population would not be appalled it. A lot of atheists and other skeptics alike cannot stand it, but because they don't want to be seen as intolerant like the religious people they love to deride, the tend to go with the politically correct opinion. |

TV01: I also recall OPs other post about her misadventure in SA. And, I don’t actually consider this to be a charitable case. She has a place to stay, and a wider family who she is with, and who posses some means.
But that’s me, I’m in no way seeking to inform what other people decide to do, or not do in this case. The reason I’m here is because of the, without mincing words, nauseating way some of you think you can take dictate to this woman just because you may render some assistance.
What gives you the right to control her fertility, mandate she gives her child up for adoption, or forcefully has an abortion. Who died and didn’t rise again and made any of you God? Can you even hear yourselves?
She should marry a “mature man” and relocate to Ibadan? Is this farce? And then when she acts out the destructive behaviours and the marriage is strained or potentially fails, you’ll prescribe the “7 day, 4 step program to winning back your wife”?
I mean a liability is one thing, but a loose canon, is something else entirely. Have you thought of lining up the “mature men” amongst your own kinfolk?
I guess the US coercing African countries to adopt “progressive gay-rights policies" via aid and diplomatic pressure, is a good thing then? Who made you arbiters?
If a man or group of men sat down to make decisions around womens reproduction based on criteria they considered suitable, you’d all be up in arms, yet here you are, crowing over a woman in a mess, even if it's self-inflicted?
What objective criteria make you think you can mandate the measures you’ve forcefully presenting? Yet when we present no sex before marriage and intact biological homes, you rail against it and scream people are trying to impose their beliefs.
And you have all but judged her to nothingness. Yes she has, speaking delicately, been wayward and done things beyond the pale for most people, but that accords you no rights over her, or makes your anger righteous.
Neither does rendering assistance if you freely choose to do so. Be that financial or life mentoring. And Onegai, reading one or two of your post would actually suggest you may have an ulterior motive.
