felixomor: "Fake" he was.
The whole truth and nothing but the truth.
The guy was a "false prophet" and never knew it.
From "false prophet" to "atheist".
SMH Does this mean that a 'true pastor' cannot become atheist? Image123, a Christian on this forum whom I have the utmost regard for agrees that he was once a pastor. And I haven't seen any Christian who is more skilled at tackling atheists than that brother. |

malvisguy212: He was still a christian ? In this very thread, he say He was a secret atheist but STILL a christian. Why will a secret atheists want to convert an open minded atheist ? Deceitful liar the op is.
Here is more;
Re: From Pastor To Atheist: Why I Will NEVER Be A Christian Again. by HardMirror(m): 2:38pm On Apr 30 I MEET AN ATHIEST In my second year, I stayed in Abiola Hostel, Abiola Hostel used to be the hostel of the big boys because only a wall seperated it from Jibowu hostel (a female hostel). Unlike Akindeko the rough and muslim ridden hostel. At Abiola Hotel I met a guy, AZO (real nickname) he stayed in Block B while I was in Block C. Azo was in 300L while I was in 200L. This guy did not believe GOD exists! WHAT! That was the first time I was meeting an atheist! I was shocked! That was the worse thing possible to me. How will a mere human not believe God Almighty exists? I decided to have a chat with him. One thing I was good at was converting people, so I was sure the Holy Spirit was going to arrest Azo once I met him. To my surprise, Azo was the most honest plain guy I ever met. He listened to all I had to say. He said amen to my prayers. He was honest about finding God if indeed God exists. And I assured him that God exists but the devil has hardened his heart and blinded him from the truth. I was convinced that God wanted to save Azo. I prayed for deliverance for the guy and I saw a lot of willingness from him .
he was convince God want to save Azo from atheism, while he is a secret atheist. I am not sure how this excerpt proves anything. From my understanding he was still a Christian at this point. |

Anas09: To whom you yield yourself to, you become servants to obey Rom. 6:16.
Most demon poasessed dabbled into ocult materials or their parents dedicated them to demons at birth or as they grow to serve satan.
Most of the angry athieats here are demon possessed. How you know is wen u antagonize satan or anything evil, their aggression tells you they are protecting their own. On a normal day, an athiest shouldn't bother if you go against satan.
No demon possesses anyone without their consent or dedication by someone. Even at that, rhe demon possessed still have conscience but they yield to satan, and God wont force them out of their choices. Dont tell me they cant come out, cos they can. What they are is what they have chosen. Can they 'come out' without any form of help. An atheist dedicated at birth is most likely oblivious of that fact (that he's demon-possesed). How does he solve a problem he does not know he has? |

Anas09: Hello... Not correct, what is correct is that, Some People who have been sold to the devil by reason of their actions. Somany here in NL are demon possessed, they are living sacrifices to satan, no matter what they see or hear, they wont believe. And God cant force them too, fact is, when they appear before him, they will be asked if they heard the word preached? They cant say no. They were not born 'demon-possessed' and those actions that might have brought about their 'demon-possession' might have been inadvertent. Should they still get punished for this; especially considering the magnitude of the punishment that awaits them. |

Anas09: God Wins. Many scriptures have been posted to this effect.
God never said everyone will believe, hence judgement. They are some people who will fall off on the day of Rapture. Just denounce Christ, the next minute the trumpet sounds. This means that from the start, some people have already been destined for the eternal barbeque. Not cool at all. |

Anas09: And why won't he? Tares are planted in the same field as the wheats, getting the same nurishment and care from the husband man, awaiting the time of fruit bearing. Now is her time, she has revealed her true nature.
Truely speaking, if these thinks don't happen, thats wen Christians shd be concerned really. Thats wen we shd have a reaaon to ask ourselves "But how come what the Bible says isn't getting fulfilled?".
But here we are, Praiae God, the word of God is true.
To those who do not understand, they think satan is winning, but there's nothing, not a single thing happening now that hasnt been prophesied.
Much more will happen. Men of God whom the world have known will turn away. It doeant matter, God remains God, and what He has purposed will come to pass.
Recently a Bishop in Anglican Church again declared he is Gay, he is still in the office of a Bishop. Not long from now, the Pope will declare " There's no God". It wont change a thing.
I dont need any of them to be convinced of whom i have believed. I have a testimony. Lolz. I love your style. If a person converts, it's a testimony and a soul has been saved. On the other hand, if a person ''decamps'', it's a fulfilment of prophecy. Either way you win. I am speechless. |

hahn: Do you realize that "our real spiritual existence" is subjective?
You believe in one version of the postulation of an afterlife while there are more than 4,200 other versions.
Why is yours any more real than the others?
And why should we indulge in such wishful thinking despite lack of evidence of it's existence?
This life is the only thing that is guaranteed. Here and now. It would be a more profitable venture if we focused on making the best of what we have now in this present time because this is the only thing that is guaranteed. Don't you think? Does subjectivity necessarily mean non-existence? What if these many 'versions' are merely different routes to the same path? |

maxioptiultra: What gives the average man the right to make these sort of advances on an unsuspecting female who innocently thinks she is forming a warm, no-strings-attached friendship with a supposedly responsible guy?
What gives him the right to spring this sort of surprise on her?
What gives him the right to upset her this much, and make her lose the vestige of trust which she still maintains for their kind?
What makes him think he can't enjoy a warm visit from a female friend or acquaintance without bringing some sort of sexual act into the mix?
What gives him the right to disturb her sense of safety this way?
What gives him the right to disappoint her by holding himself out as an easy-going, decent and responsible guy today, only for him to turn around and make an awkward request tomorrow?
What gives him the guts to think that every lady out there is for his taking?!!!
What has corrupted him so much so that he thinks her pleasantries and niceness indicate some form of sexual interest in him?
What makes the average man all that he should not be? The same thing that gave you the right to ''chop'' his money. |

NPComplete: I noticed u like arguing for argument's sake. The premise is based on the fact that they are all wrong. Even topic was written by an atheist who obviously believes every one of those theistic doctrine is wrong. My own post was just to add that line of thinking and extending it to why I will like to believe in the afterlife. It has to be fun and give meaning or sort of answers to this life. If u believe only one has to be right out of the many then the probability of that one being right is even very slim. I believe that all belief systems will lead to the afterlife and God who created variety couldn't possibly be asking for only one way to enter into the hereafter You noticed. Pray tell. |

winner01: There is a difference between close mindedness and guarding your heart. Close mindedness is a total restriction of new or foreign materials, Guarding your heart is a conscious decision on what stays in your heart. No one can run from the internet, we can only decide what comes in to stay or leave. But why would the Bible say that in the first place, how did it know the issues of life flows out right from the heart? The heart is for pumping of blood8-)8-) |
Christianity Etc › Re: Though An Atheist, I Believe In Afterlife!!! by Ranchhoddas: 9:34am On Sep 12, 2016 |
NPComplete: Not an atheist though. I believe in the afterlife too. Not for the usual selfish reasons of paradise and all. But another selfish reason entirely: schadenfreude. I will like to see the looks on the faces of all those theists who believe their way is the only way to the afterlife once they get there and it turns out they were wrong all along. Those that defended their lying pastors; those who gave all their wealth out to pastors and find out they have been sold a dummy. Those that told us we will go to hell only to find out we are probably more qualified for paradise than they are. And the looks on the faces of the pastors themselves. Mormons, Catholics, Protestants, Atheists, everyone all looking at one another and realising the futility of life on earth. We will probably get to kick a few religious leaders' asses too for setting us on a senseless path. It will be celestial gold to me. Far better than an eternal life of singing halleluyah You are assuming they are wrong. What if they are right? |
