My bro, there is a stage in marriage when your wife will grow wings especially when she thinks she doesn't need you or just out of "what will happen". How you react will determine how your marriage will be for the rest of your life.
I have a boss, he built a house and wanted to move in. At that time, all the kids are grown in Universities. The wife said she is not going because that place is not in the main town. There was still 3months rent left when the man moved, the wife didn't. After about 4 months, the wife came to beg that she wants to move in. The man asked who do you think you are that I your husband said A and you insisted on doing B?. He asked her to go back and live her life in the city. It takes the intervention and plea from the wife family before the man later accepted her.

Case 2: I have a very close neighbor. l was very close to both husband and wife. Both are well educated, husband works in O&G, very gentle and cool guy. Everything is going very well. One day, I came back from work, I saw the wife's face swollen and bruised. 2 days later, I asked the wife what happened. She said it is one woman (who is already divorced) pushed her to not tolerate rubbish from her husband ooo. All because the husband is giving his family some assistance. She told me she has learned her lesson. She knows she over push the husband, she even tore his clothes... Etc

So my brother, women know what they are doing. They will always want to test water. How you react makes you a man. There are stages for talk and actions.

This is "see finish". You shouldn't have allowed her back inside the house. She must return to wherever she is coming from. For her to even have that courage means you have been weighed and found light. You are doing good and reasonable man for woman, I pity you. Growing up, my uncle use to fvck one married woman, she will tell her family she is going for business trip which is partially true but she must spend 2 days in his house. As for me, she must bring her parents before she comes back into that house.
since you have allowed her in, the best thing is to abandon her totally, sometimes sleep out or come home very late and go straight to your room. You can even plan a trip, vacation and go without informing her. it is even easier since the kids are in university

I will advise you as a Chemical Engineer that has experience in the field as well as classroom and currently doing his PhD. Firstly, there is a huge difference between ChE and ChM. ChE is arguably the most difficult of engrg field and of course the most versatile. At Advance level, ChE is closer to PhY, Mat Sci, Mech and ChM. Currently, I am taking a course on Quantum and solid state physics !!! Don't let people deceive you, there is money in ChE and ChM. One of my Prof at University of Sheffield that is leading UK in "green technology" is always having grants, is a Chemist but in ChE dept.
I hardly see a production company where ChE works that ChM don't. My former company, a chloro-alkali plant both ChE and ChM works in production and operations while Elect & Mech are the maintenance guys. But companies (both local & Intl) that offer engineering designs are majorly ChE, Mech, Elect & Phy. I have also worked in a power company, ChM & ChE both works in QC while only ChE & Mech are often sent to operations. I worked in a Food company in UK, in QC you will see ChE, Food Tech, Micro biologist, ChM depending on the section while operations are majorly ChE and Food Tech
For advance studies, there are huge opportunities for both in environmental, energy, etc. ChM is wide as ChE. Does it worth it to swap? it depends on your plans and ability. In Nigeria, there are more opportunities for ChE compare to ChM. But abroad, they have almost equal opportunities.
In future if you want to go into academics like me, In Nigeria the most important is your BSc not MSc or PhD. MSc and PhD are just specialization.

I joined an oil servicing company at lekki. I assume office 8 am, by 12 noon my friend called me that my employment offer is out in another company. I left immediately and sent resignation letter in the evening. Thank God I made that move, the company did not survive 2018 oil and gas industry turbulence... so, technically, I worked for 4 hrs!!!

This video shows that the staff saw the fire early on. I would like to see if they brought back a fire extinguisher as the commentator said they were going to. I don't believe those lighters alone could have burned down the entire supermarket if they used a fire extinguisher shortly after that employee saw the fire, unless they were storing larger quantities of gas or other flammable materials in the store. I would really love to see what the staff did after detecting the fire.

You made some assumptions;
(i) There is an extinguisher nearby
(ii) The employee is well trained to use one

Now ask yourself, how well are these assumptions true in a typical Naija supermarket?

By the way, The first rule of fire safety: If not trained, don't attempt to quench the fire

A child means an immature or irresponsible person. There is nothing child-like in that girl. She has good idea of what she did. She was even monitoring the fire to be sure of mission accomplished. Though, I'm a fan of human torturing, she definitely need to spend lots of year in Juvenile.
