Smiles, bro I lived in the north before, did my NYSC there, I know what am saying. Go to their offices and secretariat, u'll find our graduates carrying files for all these abokis who could hardly write their names. U'll find lots of our graduates run ning after their business men for any available job in their establishment. NIS, Customs,military and paramilitary organizations, ministries etc, who are the people in the realm of affairs? Are they not northerners? How many of them have the right qualification to occupy those highly exalted offices? Not to even talk of the political scene, who's more educated between Osinbajo and Buhari? Does Buhari have school cert?
About the foods, u claim we produce other foods aside beans and perishables, if we really produce other foods in large scale that can sustaining us for like a month, why is everything skyrocketing suddenly just within 5 days of blockade from north? The reality is staring at us, we can't be fooled that all is fine when we're already frying in fire.
Lastly, u asked why we're fools, we are because we fail to prepare for tomorrow.

Sincerely yours, the writer is not far from the naked truth. What does the west have as advantage over other regions? We claim to be educated, what has the so called education brought to us when most of our University graduates have become errand boys to the acclaimed uneducated northerners? I feel ashamed of being a south Westerner when the north decided to cut food supply to the southwest. To me, we are the most foolish tribe in Nigeria.

Looking at it from this angle. All the south west governors we've been having and the ones there right now are all rotten in the brain, they're all rogues and self centered. So all those agriculture policies and bills passed in the house, all those billions budgeted for agric since 1999 till now can still not cater for food security in the south west. All the above observations and recommendations are great, please kindly look into them. Moreover, I will like to ask u few questions and give more suggestions. First, how is the gradient of the entire land (is it sloppy or not?)
Seeing the East and west location on the map against the pen's positioning , I want to believe u've worked on the East - West orientation.
I would like u to as well work on the wind direction on the land. How does the heavy wind blow across the land?
Also look around to know if there are other poultry farms around, how close are u to those farms around?
On the plan, I would like to feel biosecurity presence. How do I mean by this?
Let there be a small structure for bioserity shower not too far from each of the pens. So ur attendants will get in there and take a shower before attempting to go into the pen. This shower room is different from the one at the residential quarters. Please include it, very very important. Each time they visit other areas on the farm and want to go back into the pen, they must take the shower, and it must be monitored.
How far is the sick bay from the pen? I mean like how many feet apart?

South can not produce food in commercial quantity, the precipitation and humidity are not favourable to the production of some kind of foodstuff, the soil factor is also not encouraging.

We need the north for foodstuff forget about all the mouth we are making upandan we are just trying to be brave so that the north will think we don't need them, but we do!!

U're missing it bro, when u say our soil factor is not encouraging, I disagree, there is nothing like impossibility when it comes to farming. Israel is a rocky nation, they don't have a favourable soil and whether, but see what they're doing in agriculture, they are self sufficient in food security and produce for the world.

These northerners are the most senseless set of people on Earth. The perishable produce u're diverting to other African countries, don't forget that ever before now, those ones have been sustaining themselves in terms of food security, ur farm produce will only come into their market as surplus, and u'll be forced to engage in panick sales, selling at ridiculously cheap price to push the produce off ur table to avoid spoilage. They have their own market structure which u may not easily fit into. This isn't petroleum that u can push into their market and get it absorbed immediately. Don't forget that majority of the beef we consume here come from those neighbouring countries, e.g Niger, Chad, Cameroun. Their market is saturated already.
