It's crazy investing in polytechnics, when many countries are converting theirs to full fledge universities. |

Witchersunited: Can his father trigger change in any sector like dangote can?
He is an insignificant spec. His father can trigger more than enough change if given the kind of monopoly and preferential treatments that dangote enjoys in business space in Nigeria. The system has been tweaked to favour the northern businessmen, that's the naked truth. |

To me, there's no amount of sermon anybody can preach to me that will convince me about this country. I've had enough bitter experiences in my life that will never make me trust this system for life. My brother, if people tell u their stories in life, u won't be talking of staying back here to invest one stupid '3 million naira' into business here. I invested over 4 million naira into farming in 2014, Fulani men drove their cattle to the field and destroyed the entire farm overnight. I'm still suffering from the loss till date. Well, u can convince me sha, by giving me a grant of 25 million naira to start all over. May be I will consider your offer. |

But having a running account shows it's legit... I hope you get.... Well it's what I think sha o U're very much right. What is most important about ur account is the inflow and outflow of cash. This thing is simple, for the six months of statement, let's say u have 750k in d account, withdraw like 35k first week, in another 3weeks, let someone pay in 25k, two weeks later, pay in 40k, 3 weeks later, withdraw 15k and so on. Make sure money is flowing in and withdrawal is made often, but logically build ur account. That's the trick. They want to see the inflow and outflow of cash. |

They themselves know they've drowned the economy with their crazy policies, that's why they're stylishly reversing from them. This thing is common sense, u don't close border on essential items u can't make enough provision for locally. This is Nigeria for crying out aloud, the population is too huge to commit its rice demand into the hands of few farmers who are not technologically equipped to handle the demand. I support border closure on items which government has made enough provision for, say for the next 3 years, within three years, before the stock runs out, the local production would have taken over. Planning before launching into action. |

That sacrifice is unavoidable But since border closure on some products to give way for local production, has anything changed? U don't put the cart before the horse in the name of support for local manufacturers. U know how many farmers that lost their lives right on the farm. The farm is not safe for any farmer. Right now, majority of this so called farmers have turned to okada riders in the city, when the farm is no longer safe for farming. |

Klass99: The topic/thread reminds me of what my father said to me 2 or 3 years ago.
He asked me if I had a man or serious relationship in my life at the time. I said not really because the guy I was dating then was speaking one kind of spanish I didn't like or understand. Dude was talking about having 4 kids.
When my dad heard this he laughed and said two kids are more than enough in this age and time, things are not going to get better in our country or the world at large. Children are also going to be more stubborn and difficult to manage, than ever before. Coming from a man who had seven kids of his own, I didn't doubt him at all. Now look at what's happening in our country not just with SARS protests, but the economy and polity as a whole.
That same guy who was mouthing off about having four kids, kept going on and on, about the cost of baby food, diapers etc when I last saw him. He wouldn't shut up about how much he spends and the high cost of things. I just said this is your first child and you are complaining like this, what will you do when the other 3 come? Or have you forgotten you are on a mission to have 4 children? If not because the guy was ur ex, I would have called him an idiot. |

Here’s what caused the breakup it’s bery simple. Lola asked that jude be removed as manger of the group and taken out of any pay. Paul said no, while peter stood by his wife. That is exactly why the group split and the twins don’t talk.
This is not about jude doesn’t like her cos she’s Yoruba, or their mother didn’t approve of Lola cos she’s Yoruba. Lola is also older bt that’s still Peters choice which is fine. Many families disagree of their siblings partners smtmes that’s not exactly strange or new. It calms down after awhile. Lola instigated an issue in the group and by extension the twins.
