Good news for my DIY peeps. Owing to what I read here about how there are less crowd at Festac Passport Office compare to Ikoyi and Alausa, I started the re-issuance process for my wife expired passport on Monday by filling the form & making payment online and chose Festac Centre. We proceeded to Festac next day (yesterday) with the print outs. The officers were initially not receptive to DIY but seeing us maintaining our ground while being cautious, they yielded. The whole process was concluded in 3 hours and my wife did her capturing. I felt I owe my great Nairalanders this testimony, as the whole process from registering online to capturing took less than 24hrs and it’s strictly DIY. God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
Next time you shop online with jumia or konga pls choose the pay on delivery option, it's safer and keeps your mind at rest. I had a bitter experience with jumia once and I have since resolved to pay on delivery. Shikena |
Paschal007: Yea even the pic in the 0P from mypicstory.com looks fake .# The poster is not lying, i watched the award from the beginning, she was wearing the white outfit when she arrived at the red carpet denrele even yab her small, dunno why she changed later on |
Paschal007: It's not a lie, she wore the white outfit at first, don't know why she later changed to the yellow gown |
So we are still on this matter despite the fact that El-rufai has apologised publicly for retweeting what one of his christian followers tweeted. I'm not sure CAN knows that the statement was actually not from EL-rufai because nothing from their response suggest that. |
adexsimply: sorry.. what country is the original tweeter from? if he is not from nigeria then we dont have a problem with him.. remember dan brown? but for a nigerian who knws the present state of the country (as per religions and ethnicity).. i think the action is unjustifiable..He is Nigerian, Bukola by name |
adexsimply: y did he? dont tell me he culdn't interpret the tweet before he sent it?I am not saying what El- rufai did was right, my point is all these rantings for a retweet so what happens to the originator(@zebbook)of the tweet who himself is a christian, why is anybody not talking about him? |
begwong: Elrufai never mentioned that in his apology eitherGo back and do your findings correctly, @zebbook tweeted the joke, EL-rufai retweeted. |
@ poster, The original tweet was not from El-rufai, he only retweeted, from what i understand one @zebbook(a christian) tweeted the Joke about Jesus and Mary magdalene, wonder why only El-rufai is being held responsible for the said tweet. |
executinal: Better because if FG actually intervened, naija we see it as an avenue to loot. |
Good luck. |
NOT BOMB O... A Tanker(Ship) discharging fuel @ MRS Tank Farm caught fire. |
WOOOH.....JOHN BULL IS COMING TO TOWN |
Gbawe: Indeed. In fact, embarrassingly, Nigeria is the one of the very few Countries that springs to my mind, in this day and age, where an apprentice is put in charge of the workshop only for the people to then be expecting miracles. I am ashamed, as a frequent traveller throughout Africa, to note how Nigerians are badly lacking in political sophistication in comparison to others despite our noise. |
Chelsea just announced they have parted way with their manager Roberto Di Matteo. Details shortly. |

[al-Baqarah:156] With gratitude to Almighty Allah, we announce the passage to eternity of our beloved father and grandfather, His Eminence, Oloye (Dr) Abubakar Olusola Saraki, Waziri of Ilorin, former Senate Leader, Second Republic, Federal Republic of Nigeria who answered the call to the great beyond, in the early hours of today in Lagos. i'm so happy with all these responses, at least now i know it is not only me and it is really not something o worry about. I have tried several times to explain the experience to people around me and nobody seem to know what it is. |
i have been using mine (2008 XLE V4) since May last year and to me it's the best both in fuel economy and maintenance considering the fact that I was driving a Honda Accord before i bought it. My experience travelling in this car is marvelous. I enjoy the cruise control die. In fact, the car is a machine. |
It's crazy. This Osu thing in Igboland is so serious that they even discriminate against Osus in the houses of God. Most catholics in the east don't allow Osu priest to give them Holy communion, it's that bad. I believe we are all equal in the eyes of God, so there is no point in segregating against some group of people just becos of the sins of their founding fathers. |
That's so rude of her! |
@Beaf, I think you need to see a therapist. Your case is so pathetic, pele. |
