If you study the scriptures, the prophecy regarding the coming of the Messiah and what JESUS said about John, it is clear that John was Elijah and not the shadow of Elijah. Again, you got it wrong when you said Elijah died. Elijah was taken up and don't try to speculate what happened next.

The proof that John was beheaded because of what he did to the baal prophets can be found at Matthew 26:52. GOD's law apply to everyone including HIS own children.

alcohol is good in itself but becomes abusive when taken out of proportion which is why God wants us to be moderate, and you re not under compulsion to drink it where you know you don't need it.

Therefore, if this universe was eternal we will be in what is called a "virtual heat death." This means that there will be virtually no molecular movement. Everything would have lost its available heat energy for doing work. Therefore, the universe cannot be eternal, it must have had a beginning. The theory that the universe has always existed or is eternal has to be false based on the law of science and logic, another speculation gone with the air. This leaves us with only one possiblility based on science. Which is that:

If you are very matured in Christianity, you will come to realize that the line between good and bad is very slim and fine. Those who preach moderation have got it all wrong. What is moderation? A glass? A tot? A pint? A drop? A gallon (for Ojika )? That definition is very subjective.

Why then will you teach anyone to drink moderately? When we were younger, my senior sister strayed once and went out with some guys.
