That really makes you so stupid doesn't it? If I should turn the same question around, how did man get to earth?

aribolseg: Really really shocking thread and posts.... To me I believe religions and scriptures are there to guide our ways in this very earth. Looking at it from a neutral point of view cos I wouldn't wanna be biased .wat does a man gain living his whole life in disbelieve and spending his eternity in hell( u could escape this if truly God doesn't exist). But why not believe to be on the safer side. U still have notin to loose believing in the existense of God.... Look at this simple logic.. If God doesn't exist, We that believe have nothing to lose after death like wise those that disbelieve. And if God does exist we still have nothing to loose but for those that disbelieve (u can finish it up).... Fear the burning hell where man will be used as stone and believe in Almighty God.

There were two scientists who had stayed all their lives in space. They decided to visit earth. One of the scientists had heard about gravity and told his colleague. The colleague laughed at such an idea and said that nothing like that exists because it has no evidence in space. To be on the safer side, the scientist who believe in gravity took a parachute before going into the spaceship on the trip to the earth. The other scientist of course laughed at that as well saying it was a waste of time.

On entering the earth, they realized that they had miscalculated the gaseous levels when they built the spaceship. Their vehicle gave a signal that it was going to blow up so they should jump. They were several feet in the sky. The guy with the parachute just placed it at his back and jumped. He immediately started going down and instantly knew that it was the effect of gravity. He pulled the knob of his parachute and was carried down safely.

The other scientist also jumped...and realized rather too late that there is gravity.Of course he paid for his stupidity by crashing to the ground and bursting up.

The choice my friends, is in your hands. Choose what you want to believe...I don't think anyone should be pampered. Anyone with genuine question can be helped but the sarcastic ones may live to regret later.

To everyone who claims that another person caused them to lose their faith, please come up with a better excuse. In any case, JESUS predicted that this will happen. HE stated clearly that many people will depart from the faith and that is what is happening.

Everyone is responsible for enduring to the end. If you allow your light to go out then you lose out. Only those who endures to the end will be rewarded.

Pastor, you are missing the point. All I am saying is that these people do not need your cajoling to convert. Some of them will never anyway (remember the parable of the sower?) What we are required to do is to be the salt (with our deeds) and preach the TRUTH. We are not supposed to fight when doing that but we are just required to preach it.

The TRUTH of the Gospel includes the existence of hell and the reality that everyone who fails to accept JESUS CHRIST will go there. If you believe that telling people this truth is a threat, then so be it. What kind of logic is that? Are you saying that telling my brother that drinking poison will kill him is equal to a threat? My brother THAT IS A FACT.

We are called to be the salt and not to conform. We are not supposed to 'sugar-coat' the truth just because someone feels threatened by it. In any case, HEAVEN and hell will continue to exist even if we all choose not to believe in it. You just counted 4-5 people becoming atheist and you think that can be compared to the numerous others who have embraced the faith because of what some people did here?

We are not required to make any concessions when it comes to defending our faith. None of the Apostles did and I am not ready to do. Are you sure you have read enough? If you are really free, why the fear? That fear is your soul that is screaming to you. Of all your being, your body should be the least that you listen to. It is very temporal and will not last even a year after your death. However, your soul will spend eternity and this decision you are making will decide where the soul goes.
