PoliticsThe Power Of Social Media You Underrated! by Ratello(op): 12:48pm On Feb 15, 2019
The Power Of Social Media You Underrated!

I have listened over and over again on how many people ignorantly talked down on the influence of the social media in politics especially in the area of elections and I feel like clarifying the importance and power of the social media in changing the course of election, as we saw in the case of Donald Trump, through his Twitter and Facebook pages. He was constantly posting pressing questions and thought provoking narratives against the incumbent government of Obama and his adversary at the poll, Hillary Clinton, at last, Trump won. You know why? Information is power! When you are informed, you are reformed and when you are not informed, you are deformed. Trump revealed many secrets in the dark of Hillary as Secretary of State towards her Country, America, especially in the over 30,000 secret emails that she wiped off her inbox in order to conceal some classified Informations many Americans thought would have been vital for American security and also show some shady transactions in the diplomatic world Hillary must have involved herself in. Trump loves controversies for going that deep against Hillary and the Democrats Party. On the date of the Presidential Debates, he proved to the whole world they he was not bluffing by accusing Hillary of that weighty allegations as he repeated it again before her and really scored a big point with that strong allegations to which Hillary had no clear cut answers which eventually paid off for Trump on the day of election, he won!

Coming down to Nigeria, the same scenario eventually played out as Atiku Abubakar, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, made use of the social media (Facebook and Twitter) to sell his candidacy and programmes to the millions of Nigerians who visit these sites and through that made himself a household name that really intimidated the influence of the sitting President, Muhammadu Buhari. It must be cleared that Atiku himself got involved in direct messages on his social media inboxes and also interact directly with his fans and supporters hence; their criticisms, eulogies, condemnations of his personalities have been of great benefits and importance to help him fraternise with the problems of  many Nigerians (especially the youths) which actually helped him to carve a fantastic "Working Template" he titled, "Let's Get Nigeria Working Again" (GNWA), which took over the social media cyberspace like a storm. Constant visit to Atiku's social media pages will always leave you with a message of hope and something to ponder on for that day as revealing messages about the inconsistencies, incompetences, lies, shenanigans, wrong policies and other economic vices embedded in this kleptomaniac government of Buhari that couldn't sell itself to Nigerians through the social media are shown to the world to see. Atiku tapped into the huge resources of what the social media can do in influencing decisions on time and now he is reaping the fruits. Virtually every online polls conducted between him and Buhari had gone his way because he had some catchy phrases to drive home his points and policies for a better Nigeria.

The question now is, how is Atiku's influence on the social media reach out to the Northerners with their wheelbarrows, small wares, sugar cane sticks, onions, tomatoes and pepper, wristwatches, and small transistor radios who choose to listen to his "BBC Hausa news transmission and their popular fast pacing local music"? How is Atiku's influence on the social media reach out to the local market women and men in the southwest and the local fishermen and women in the south-south parts of Nigeria what happened to the artisans too and the less privileged who hardly visit the Internet? How is Atiku's influence on the social media reach out to the local farmers in the interiors of Middle belts of Nigeria like Benue, Kogi, Plateau, Kwara, Nasarrawa and our few brothers and sisters in the Southeast who have vowed not to be involved in any Nigerian project since their "Biafrans Dream" is all what they see? The answers to all this is very simple. Every Social Media constant visitors and account holders are "Strong Influencers" that can affect the aforementioned ones above towards taking a decision as we go to the polls through the power of information they (influencers) have which these locals don't have. Most of the Talakawas (the poor masses up North) are influenced by their leaders who are the elites and their benefactors that are constantly in touch with the latest information which they can manipulate to convince these ones to take decisions which are almost obeyed without thinking otherwise. Top politicians in the South are highly revered and whatever they tell their subjects to do are very weighty and can influence many to do the needful These are the simple analysis on how elections are won and lost. You can still inflience that man, woman, boy or girl who can vote to consider voting for Atiku Abubakar as we go to the polls, trust me, it is not too late to preach it. Atiku Abubakar had paid the supreme prize to be Nigeria's next President, let's rally round this great job creator and unique unifier for a Nigeria that works for all!

Peace!!!
*Patriotic Nigerians Do not Waste time Arguing with Buhari Haters*

We are not talking about critics who are genuinely concerned about a better Nigeria,. You will know them because when they see good efforts of government they applaud.

But the others, the one who swore on their lives Buhari will never be president, the enemies of the nation, are the ones we are talking about. The following are their traits:

* They lie and mislead others with statements as 'I regret voting Buhari', etc a cliche they started using as early as few months into the Buhari government. To them it doesn't matter that the last government looted the treasury and Buhari met an empty treasury...they will say 'we voted him because he said he will change the nation in '3 monthshuh? (Don't bother to ask for proof, lying is their trademark)

* They are the one who swore on their father's head that Buhari died in Aso rock, and later in UK. Then they said the Buhari that returned to Nigeria is a clone (duplicate) and you still take cognizance of what comes out of these peoples mouth.

* They were the ones who said 8 years was not enough for OBJ, and 6 not enough for GEJ etc They are the arijenimadaru - beneficiaries of corruption. They are either the full time politicians, corrupt civil servants, journalists, bankers, fraudulent contractors, religious businessmen etc Its no longer business Aa usual, so they pretend that they are fighting for ordinary Nigerians (iro nla!!!)

* When you remind them of how corruption in last government has ruined the nation....they ask you to stop talking about the past

* When you say Buhari is a man of integrity and his fighting corruption...they say his son has a power bike

* When Evans the kidnapper say something against Buhari, he becomes an hero. When you say their heroes and spokespersons lack integrity (IBB, OBJ, Fayose, FFK, Saraki, GEJ, etc)...then they say look at the message not the messenger (oro wo ni o wa ni enu ole ' what meaningful words do the robber want to utter?)

*They are not interested in any development in Nigeria, if it means ascribing any success to PMB.

* Every good news of the nation brings them sadness, and they remain quiet until another bad news crops up

* If you tell them Buhari is building over 300 roads all over Nigeria, they say it is because of 2019.

* Tell them Buhari is developing the rail system all over Nigeria, they say it is not his initiative that Obasanjo and GEJ had plans to do it.

* Inform them about the agricultural revolution how Nigeria now produces its local food and has become a foremost world exporter of food, they say it is Obasanjo that started Operation feed the nation in the 70s (God have mercy!!!)

* When you say Buhari is working to completing abandoned projects, over 8000 nationwide (Mambila hydro power, Ajaokuta Steel Plant etc), they say it is because he has no program of his own.

* Refute their allegations that Buhari is tribalistic with how his ministerial cabinets now (and as military head of state) had more Christians than Muslims, and how powerful ministries were being run by southerners...they hold their breath and in the next statement still repeat the allegation (it is an obsession)

* They say Buhari is vindictive..., but no state or region has been denied their share of development projects irrespective of whether they support PMB government or not. He has taken 13b water project to Otuoke in GEJs village Bayelsa, N22b road to Atikus village in Adamawa, reconstruction of Lagos Abeokuta expressway to OBJs state, the 2nd Niger Bridge etc to the east, the massive investment and redevelopment of the Niger-Delta etc are part of the proof of PMBs fairness to all

* When the clampdown on corruption started, they said only southerners are being harassed, when Dasuki etc were arrested they say it is only PDP; when Saraki was taken to court they say it is because he is in opposition; when former governors and APC members were jailed (Dariye and Nyame ) they say it was PDP that started the probe..huh??

* When EFCC is investigating the massive investments and dollars accounts of Mrs Patience Jonathan, Alison Maduekwe etc.... they say it is political harassment and you should bring proof of corruption. But when they bring scandalously stupid allegations like Buhari has bought the national stadium etc and you ask for proof ....they say you are a fanatic.

* Tell them how the threats of IPOB, Niger Delta were curtailed, they say it is a clampdown on Igbo's and southerners; remind them of how the menace of El Zakyzaky and his Shiites group of the norths have been curbed.... they say it is coercion.

* Remind them how the dreaded Boko Haram has been chased away from the States that they use to control in the north and how normalcy is returning to those part of the country.... they will still refer to the occasional suicide bombings as proof that nothing is achieved.

Tell them how it has been impossible for even almighty US etc to totally stop suicide bombings ..... they retort 'are you now comparing this 'S**t nation to US' (Of course not, US do not have plenty bad belle-hypocrites as them as citizens)

* Tell them how herdsmen killings preceded PMB, and how many non Fulani herdsmen have been arrested by the army for killings, including a personal aide to Governor Ortom, and how since such arrests the killings have subside.... they still in the next statement like a broken record refer to Buhari as promoting herdsmen killers.

* Tell them about the resuscitation of the mambila project, the Ajaokuta steel project, etc, they say it is a lie

* Show them videos and pictures of ongoing development nationwide, they say its photo and video shop (huh??)

* Tell them how Buhari stopped the billion dollars fertiliser scam and how in its place 11 local fertiliser companies were revived resulting in Nigeria producing for its local needs...they say 'how does that translates to food for the common man?' (Kai ba sense?!!!)

* When Buhari agreed to pay 88billion compensation to Biafrans victims, granted autonomy to state judiciary, supports local government autonomy, recognised MKO and June 12 they say it is politics. (And like the daughter of our hero of democracy said, if Buhari does not play politics, should he play chemistry?)

* They say Nigeria don't want Buhari, and he will lose the election landslide, and they are writing abosi-hypocrirical letters that he should not contest (Do they want to save him from disgrace ni, abi what's there own? (Awon oni yeye : jesters all of them)

* To them the National Assembly members used to be all (APC) rogues, but now without doing any good thing but because they now oppose PMB they have become their heroes; from the clown Dino, to the Michael Jackson of Osun, the stupendously corrupt and wealthy Saraki, Mark, Dogara etc ( Its a case of show me your friend/hero/and I know what kind of person you are)

* Buhari has refused like previous governments to bribe legislators to do their duties, and since their dirty strategies is no longer working they have become a stumbling block to progress...the wailers will say if it was OBJ he would have dealt with them. (But if he had use any other means they will say he is undemocratic; two sided mouth people)

* If you call a thief by its name, they will say how can you be insulting an honourable, a distinguished senator, a former president who has fought poverty through farming etc, but
hear them when they refer to Mr president, 'the man is a m***n, he is brain dead, he is d*ft' etc.

But this man has proven to be better than them all, he has refused to respond to the tantrums of their bosses, the OBJs, IBB, etc Like a true soldier he marches on with the good works, and God has been his defense.

* When you show some of them the unparalleled efforts of this government in development compared to all the past governments, then you will hear....well he has tried but I still don't like him, he is too old, he is slow, he is unintelligent, he is not outspoken etc... (#%@€¥ Perfect human beings all of them mtchew)

This is the point where you will be able to confirm that these are people whose concern is not Nigeria's development. Whose problem with Buhari is not performance but personal hatred etc.

This is why nothing tangible will be achieved if you engage them in any developmental discussion, when their concern is wotowoto-pettiness.

Avoid arguments over Buhari's use of language, age etc, keep sending them the good news, project reports and achievements of government, and gradually you help bring them back to reality:

In conclusion let me quote their most used cliche:

" We have never had it so bad"

Yes by Gods grace this government will continue to be a thorn in the flesh of those who for their selfish interest do not want things to change in Nigeria

For the rest of good Nigerians, Buhari's time is our time, let us be steadfast in support of our national . It will forever be good for us all.
At last you will be alright grin cheesy if at your age you cannot differentiate between good and evil then your deliverance is going to be one long one. May the blood of the innocent shed under this demon called Buhari will never allow him to have peace for the rest of his life (Amen)

44. Under his watch, the Nigerian Army has killed 492 Shiite Muslims in the last 4 years. These extrajudicial killings have gone on with impunity.

45. The “Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG)” protesters - on whose protests Buhari rode to the presidency of Nigeria - were tear gassed and persecuted by the Buhari government.

46. On a live TV broadcast, Buhari defended the Governor of Kano state who was caught on camera receiving $5m bribe.

47. Under his watch, his VP and his political party (APC) engages in systematic vote buying disguised as “Trader Monie”.

48. A good number of politicians working for Buhari’s re-election have pending corruption cases bordering on stolen monies worth about N300bn. They include: Abdullahi Adamu (N15bn); Aliyu Wamakko (N15bn); Godswill Akpabio (N100bn); Orji Uzor Kalu (N3.2bn); Babachir Lawal (N223m); Rotimi Amaechi (N97bn); Abdul’aziz Yari (N680m); Adams Oshiomhole ($51m); Bola Tinubu (N100bn); Abba Kyari (N500m); Musiliu Obanikoro (N4.7bn); Folarin Coker (N3bn), etc.

49. A member of the Buhari kitchen cabinet – Babachir Lawal - spent N220million to cut grass at an IDP camp. Yet, he has not been prosecuted for the offence.

50. The disgraced and sacked SGF, Babachir Lawal, was replaced with his cousin, Boss Mustapher. Effectively retaining the SGF position within his family.

The Crowd Mentality!

They came with "he is a man of integrity" noise in 2014 and somehow it reverberated around the whole nation in 2015 January and by February the initial date of the 2015 Presidential Elections it was so deep and threatening that the then President, Goodluck Jonathan, had to shift the election date to March and the date came as scheduled, Mr Integrity, Muhammadu Buhari, won and was formally installed as President of Nigeria on May 29th, 2015 fast forward till date, almost all the qualities of "integrity" expected of Buhari had vanished and no longer recognizable and will likely not save him as campaign tool in 2019 only his performance score cards are to be scrutinized by the court of public opinions to be used as assessment to judge if he deserves a second term. Buhari deceived Nigerians in virtually all aspects, why? He was never a man of integrity but just a fundamentalist with a heart of vindictiveness,  but the crowd mentality silenced the gentle voices of the sincere ones who called him his true names back then that he is no where near being a man of integrity just a man that came to seek for revenge against his political foes of yesteryears. The truth is for almost 4 years, Buhari fought his perceived enemies more than fighting corruption and bettering the lives of the masses that trooped out to vote him into power. He failed to fulfill ordinary 20% of his pre election promises, he gave more excuses than offering palliative measures to teething problems confronting his government. He lied on oath concerning his educational background even to the bewilderment of his discerning diehard fans and supporters. He has been tested and found wanting in the place of service and therefore the government had been handed over to another "Northerner" that will deliver the goods to the joy of many Nigerians come 2019! The doubters can bookmark this post as 2019 beckons.

PoliticsBuhari And His Buharideens! by Ratello(op): 4:03am On Feb 06, 2019
Buhari And His Buharideens!

He was at a Presidential Rally in Delta, he presented the Governorship Aspirant, Ogboru, as "The Presidential Candidate of APC, he was corrected, he quickly called him "the Senatorial Candidate" he was corrected, he now settled for his own version of address by calling him "Governatorial Candidate" yet some "human beings" want him back.
He was at Anambra for a Presidential Rally, when it was his time to address the crowd, he referred to Governor Ambode of Lagos State as "Kano State Governor" not done he promised to increase the level of infrastructure in his administration towards the "East Central State" (referring to Anambra). He was at Calabar for another Presidential Rally, while presenting the aspirants, he unknowingly raised up the hand of Ndoma Egba as the "Governatorial candidate" while neglecting the real "Gubernatorial candidate" standing by his side until he was again corrected. At Kano Presidential Rally, Buhari the self-acclaimed "Mr Integrity," was seen right before the camera raising up the hands of Ganduje, sitting Governor of Kano State caught on camera collecting bribe in hard currencies for a second term endorsement and you wanna ask what type of endorsement is this? Anytime issues are brought before him, it is either he is unaware of such like the appointments given to the dead sometimes early last year.

It is record that under 3 years of Buhari, Nigeria had borrowed at an embarrassing rate never before seen in the history of this Country. He is definitely not in charge of the affairs of this nation, our treasury, our future as Nigerians. He is showing signs of dementia and fast going senile yet these cabals are hellbent to continue to use him as their "fall guy" till they bury our nation.

I will say that in all these, Buhari can only be responsible for 15% of the entire mess, the cabals take 25% while the remaining 60% can be ascribed to the madness exhibited by the so-called Buharideens or Buharists who have taken their "fanatic tendencies to the level of gross idiocy that animals will not even express". The whole drama is right before there eyes with convincing statistics that Nigeria under Buhari is less safer to live than previous government yet you hear "Sai Buhari"! Nigeria's debt keep mounting both locally and internationally, yet it is "Sai Buhari"! Unemployment has assumed a ridiculous and dangerously traumatic height that had given birth to all manner of vices never before experienced among youths, yet you hear "Sai Buhari"! Life has been terrible for these blind followers of Buhari called Buharideen and Buharists yet they will defend him ignorantly that it is a sacrifice they must pay to get it right. I asked, was there a time Nigeria had ever been broke for them to be treated like stray dogs by a President who promised them "bread and butter while campaigning"? Nigeria under Buhari overtook India as the nation with the highest number of poor and miserable people on planet earth, yet Buharideens blame PDP. Buhari refused to make notable changes in his inept cabinet of almost 4 years, yet it is "Sai Buhari"! Cattle ranch are being supported with N91 billion while our students only needed N50 billion to open their different institutions of learning yet he refused them but got more interested in the "Cow business" you will still hear "Sai Buhari"! The biting "Domino Effects" of unemployment had led many to suicide, rituals, yahoo+, thuggery, insurgency, forced prostitution, and many other vices. His minions will still exonerate him. Boko Haram are now getting ransom and still striking almost every week (which never happened under Jonathan's time) yet you hear these lost ones chanting "Sai Buhari"!

It is now crystal clear to all and sundry that Buhari like I indicated above is not to blame in the real sense of it but a "set of hypocrites who had sworn to an oath of secrecy" to remain stupid and defensive in the face of stark realities of negative effects of Buharinomics killing Nigerians while exonerating those within his camp and party like his party chairman once boasted that, "no matter your level of sins all you need do is just cross over to APC and all will be well"! Yet these set of "hungry, blind, ignorant and arrogant mice" rejoice at their "saviour Buhari" anytime he hit their towns with his open gaffe and empty promises. Need I say more? I don't think it is necessary because these Buharideens are just in the minority and as Nigeria go to the polls in few days time, I will urge them to resist intimidation and vote for a better option, his name, Atiku Abubakar!
Nigeria needs peace before jobs, good standard of living, healthy and lively citizens, power supply, basic infrastructures etc can be birthed.

Peace!

PoliticsThe Shameful Acts Of Few Yoruba Obas And Why Tinubu Is Involved! by Ratello(op): 3:47am On Jan 20, 2019
From Chief BOLARINWA DANIEL OMOLOLU'S Facebook wall

Matters Arising.
This is one of the saddest posts I've been compelled to compose here in this series as it touches me on so many cogent fronts. Aside being a Nigerian, am a proud Yoruba man, high chief and painfully, a custodian of traditional ethos and value and as such do not mix tradition with politics as they are two different parameters entirely with the former taking higher pedestal with me. Now to the crux of the matter;
I have always never been a respecter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as I've read first hand his type of politics and know self preservation is way on top of the agenda. Honestly I have no problem with that but when you drag supposed revered 1st class Obas to the mud, I cringe at those Obas and wonder what is wrong with the system. Some years ago when APC was growing at the Awujale's palace in Ijebu I remember in the midst of obas and VIPs he told all of them that aside the Awujale and two other Obas, the rests are **************** (onijekujes) because they were in divergent support and I was appalled at the effrontery then of this crass nymph who has no traditional or historic value (even cannot clearly trace his origin) to take the traditional institution to the cleaners!?
Well before I go further, I just watched a very recent clip from Channels TV where Tinubu in Aso Rock after the visit of some select Obas from the SW had gone to visit PMB for God knows what and in the clip, at the background some Obas were been handed hefty bulky envelopes by suited up aides apparently from the 'protocol' section of Aso Rock, the house of 'Mr. Interigrity' and Sen. Mamowora is seen in a sneering posture at the Oba as he received his 'bribe' and 'thank you' for coming! The Obas in tow on the recent visit unfortunately involved some very revered monarchs like the spiritual head of the Yorubas, Ooni of Ife, and the paramount rulers of the Egbas who incidentally will be making his second visit in 2 months amidst other descript Obas, supposedly of significant calibre.
Now what I ask is this, so Buhari has gone as desperate to pay Yoruba Obas to come and give false 'solidarity' visits with the help of the most 'corrupt' Yorubaman alive who incidentally is being validly accused of turning Thugs into first class citizens in Lagos State and also a co-conspirator of the recent deluge of violence in Lagos and the impending war coming if Mc Oluomo survives or does not survive? I ask again, so that means with money, these Obas can be equated with Talo Skibo, Kunle Poly, Koko Zaria, Seigo, Istajabar, as they all can be paralleled on a level of eating crumbs from the table of a geneological nonentity?
Now Nigerians can see through Buhari that he also 'settles' when political expediency demands and thatt invariably punctures the clean stature he's been trying to portray as we that know, know that he's a scam and bereft entity using the gullible mentality of so many Nigerians home and abroad to garner support that he's incorruptible. In Obama's reelection, you won't see the Buffets, Gates, Rotschilds, Carnegies, or even clan chiefs of native indians flocking to the White House to collect what they will desecrate their robes and thereby insult their people collectively. We should also consider that hardly will you see the Sultan of Sokoto, Awujale of Ijebuland, Abepa and some select monarchs condescend to this cesspit to make a point, sadly, the Ooni and the Alake have fallen from my pedestal of honor as at today and and I boldly make no apology to anyone.
Not in conclusion, we can now decipher what is at play here and let Nigerians open their eyes to see the real enemies of the people who can go as far as destroy the Judiciary, desecrate the Legislative and hound the Press to hold on to power... My friend, you people have lost the right to the position of power and authority and as such, try as much as you want to rig, it's your own blood that will boil! We will speak clearer after Febuary 16th and surely we shall all witness it thus.
Tinubu, for you I have no words but just to let people know you can do anything for power and money, even to the extent of selling your own blood and people.
To the Obas that I mentioned, let your conscience be your judge but I will remind you Ojaja, it was this same Buhari that penalised your predecessor Olubuse Sijuwade in 1984, along with Ado Bayero of Kano by trying to disgrace them and he paid dearly for it then. Alake, I have no words for you but your people will judge this partial and lucrative stance you've decided to put up with and may history be fair on your legacy.
To the Nigerian people, I leave you with your conscience.
Good morning Nigeria.

2011 Jonathan missed Debate and he won the election, 2015 Buhari missed the debate and he won the election.
Now 2019 Buhari wanted to use that logic never knew Atiku is a guy man.
Buhari will be shocked after February 16 this I can assure you. That guy is a terrible man, I mean a man travelled down all the way from US and just had few hours to prepare himself for the debate and all what Buhari could do is to scram?
