Sure bro, the sleeping giants in us have been awaken. But we must know and have this at the back of our minds, these politicians are very stubborn, they can do anything to cling to power. Thats why every youth needs more than determination and whitewash speeches to dislodge these greedy old shrunken scumbags. Good morning. G WhizdomXX: |
[ Bro its high time you rechannel your opinion to a better cause than to point accusing finger. Its in a mans nature to be polygamus irrespective of his tribe but such can be controlled depending on the mans idealogy, indoctrination, spirituality(not religion), upbringing, etc. There is hope, its not a mirage. quote author=IYANGBALI post=93432597]its in their blood they just dey pretend ni
Dont worry, this is as a result of mistakes we made in the past like collecting bribes to vote the wrong persons, showing favorism, illegal movement of ballot boxes etc. Have you asked yourself how you can make a real change in the next election? For power, they say belongs to the people. If Ned has hand in occultism, will you do the same to be rich? You dont need to vex because you dont really know the source of his money. If you have a better govt, like in overseas, there wont be need to commit some atrocities we africans do cos of money. This is a wake up call and i hope you really sit down and have a sober reflection on it. Thanks. IYANGBALI: |
Keep waiting for Ned, he is coming ![]() quote author=Zzor post=93432419]No Ned for this Nairaland sef,all we have here are "e go better men" mtchew
Bro this not about having a conquered land but we coming together as one. We all have seen the "death" of any of the major tribes leaves the other vulnerable as long as we are in as one Nigeria. You can attest to the fact, after the fall of Ibos in the civil war, the Hausa/Fulani used that chanced to colonize the affairs of the country till death. You need to wake up, have a rethink and stand against the wimps of corruption. quote author=Obalatule post=93437642] Yorubaland is conquered territory, Hausa/Fulani will take half while Igbos take the remaining
[ You are not Ibo but its a shame to hide under Ibo name bro. Anyways you dont have to blame the traders, blame the govt. U remember when Nigeria and Ghana were 5and 6 but now Nigeria has become toothless giant of Africa. I really pity those who support this administration selling their conscience because of small benefits they get which doesnt last. Since my life even the time of thr military, Nigeria has never been like this. If you are a true lover for the betterment of our land, we need to stop attacking one another this is the GREATEST FEARS OF THE POLITICIANS- UNITY OF NIGERIANS. THEY want us to bicker and remain divided, its high time we all understand this before its late. Please help spread the word! quote author=NkemChukwudi post=93435928]Idiotic IGBOTIC bloody Liar!!!!! $1m dollars ![]() You paid $1m you are crying, begging the government to evacuate you from Ghana? where are your Ghanaian lawyers? And you all look like Aro Chukwu residents? See as he dey breathe heavily, go and see a doctor ASAP! Abeg GHANA deport them to Onitcha please...we have too many of them in Yorubaland......
[ Thank you bro i appreciate. Yes i believe dry bones can rise again in Nigeria. It is our duty, to start talking to our friends, when our friends be it our age mates or errand boys, when they in turn talk to their own friends about the dangers of been tools in the hands of these Politicians then a chain will be formed. Nairaland is the first platform, and many are reading this but its not enough, if we dont implement what we have read. We may end up ranting like cornered mouse. I can see the positive effects of my words and those who have been crying out especially in NL-there have been drastic change in ranting and bickering. I have noticed it, and its a very good thing and that is the hope i have found knowing we can change the mindsets of Nigerians for a better Nigeria. Am willing to die for the good of Nigeria, if my death will really bring the needed change for this country, truly i will lay it. Afterall, we will all die someday. It is time bro, lets unite and start talking to the boys picking dirts, the thugs those vulnerable to the manipulations of these Politicians. Once again, thank you bro for your understanding. ![]() quote author=WhizdomXX post=93431413] Nice one Rawhumper. How wish we have more people like you here and in Nigeria. Imagine the crowd of youths that gather every 4 years to hear their manifesto and sing their praises for #500 naira notes. Look at Edo rallies today despite the fact that these guys have failed the people, the youth still pack to their rallies without wearing masks despite the Covid, cramped together just to hear the same bullshit they've heard from the same people from the past years but no result done by them in the time they were in similar positions. Ironically after collecting #500 handouts they cry of bad governance.
[ Sure you are right bro to an extent but you failed to realize that in life when you seem to protect someone invariably you are protecting yourself because someday that person you protected may someday protect you. Hope you understood the above, i dont believe it was only the Yoruba armies that made the Fulani troops under Usman Dan Fodio not to attack the East. The real reason was the Rivers, the troops didnt have the means to cross over because of the rivers bro. You know the Biafran war made way for the Hausa/Fulani to take over the affairs of Nigeria. After the defeat of the Ibos, the fate of Nigeria was in the hands of these people. They manipulated non Hausa/Fulanis who came to power even when Obj in his second Civilian rule tried to crush the North politically, these same set of people fought back. Bro before the defeat of the Biafran people, Ibos were in power(majority of the soldiers then were ibos and almost all the Ibo officers were Sandhurst). That was why Sarduana Of Sokoto encouraged the Northerners to join the Military according to him, thats where the true power lies. The Ibos lost their best officers doing the counter coup not even the civil war. Yes i accept our past leaders made mistakes including the Yoruba leaders toi, lets not point fingers but stand as one and not say i belong to APC or PDP but try as much as possible to flush out any having APC even if they CROSS CARPET to another party, we will nail them. So therefore, let us start by refusing to be used to rig elections, steal ballot boxes, cause havoc during elections because it is still we the people that can stop them for a better Nigeria. Thank you. quote author=OROSUNBOLB post=93431754] On what basis did you say this - "its the presence of the Ibos that have not made the Hausa/Fulani to carry out total Islamization of Nigeria." ? There is no historical records of any war between Igbo and fulani in the past. So how does your presence prevent "total islamization of Nigeria" ? I certainly know that Osogbo,my hometown is a Yoruba city and that's where the fulanis armies of islamisation and colonisation were defeated by the Yoruba armies ably led by Ibadan war Generals in 1840. It is on record, you google it. Therefore,if today you are not having an emir as your ruler in Arochukwu or Nkalagu,be humble enough to say a big thank you to those brave Yoruba warriors that stopped the army of the caliphate at Osogbo.
Sure life is meant to be enjoyed and am happy and thankful to God for everything. Do you know the feeling of having a sexy girl ride a guy? Especially when she teases me by going down on it very slowly making you feel the lips and walls of the V, as the fluid increases within her V? What a feeling. KristaPretty: |
Yes but in the case of Ojukwu, you would have done the same. I concur he acted hastily and tactlessly. In the case of Zik, he was a stooge and Nnamdi Kanu isnt serious and knows what he really wants and he has a bad strategy. Massob should not have been disinyegrated because of the different views of its leaders, that alone weakened it. Well what i stand for is a united Nigeria with a weak centre. We stand against those that have put us into the mess we going through. The Yorubas are not the real enemy of the Ibos and Nigeria, infact i must say Obj was one of the best Presidents Nigerua ever had. We had a strong economy, nobody is perfect but he did his best for the country and brought in good things though he made some mistakes but his good works outshine his bad works unlike what we are seeing presently. Its time the Yorubas and the Minorities and the Ibos come together. Enough of this bickering and backstabbing....what have these gotten us to? I must commend Naira landers for the less hatred in recent times unlike before, this is what the Politicians want us to be doing attacking one another. Am happy, it shows at least our words are working though it may look as if nobody cares but it does. TheChameleon: |
[ You get mouth oo... ![]() I even thought the same. So this guy now is feeling like he has fvcked? There are most guys in here, after fvcking such kind of low class dirty girls they count it as been badt guys...bullshit!! quote author=Praisles post=62849922]NA 2 men i see for the picture o.
[ I can also detect the sarcasm in that your statement. One thing you must know everybody has his/her perceptions about life. As for me, i cant die for love and i see anyone who does as a big brainless fool. Have u ever spat out honey from your mouth before? When i can get my type of ladies in a shopping malls, taxi, hospital etc with that killing ass and pointy boobs, i most times get them. If its ugly and low class bitches, i would have retired but nah if you noticed most girls nowadays are naturally endowed ( not artificial hips cos i can detect that easily believe me). quote author=KristaPretty post=93430091] My dear continue being an Untamed Alpha jare. At least when you get old you add that to your life achievement.
Lol really LWKMD honestly, ima ife anaru. You cracked me up , i have already achieved alot on that field, at least make man pikin no lose in both ways in Naija abi? Thanks to you ladies! .KristaPretty: |
I dont agree with you, bro NL used to be a warzone, bickerings here and there but after a lengthy and steady orientation on unity and constructive criticism i can attest that it is working in NL. It may be like nobody is listening but if you sensitive, you will notice the difference. Gratefulheart01: |
[ You can say anything about the Ibos but they are not cowards. In as much i hate violence and bloodshed but i must say the bitter truth which is, its the presence of the Ibos that have not made the Hausa/Fulani to carry out total Islamization of Nigeria. Anyone can argue and say whatever but its the bitter truth, if the South want to survive, they must unite with the other minorities too and work together. Every individual matters in this struggle, be it Ijaw, Opobo, Idoma etc we all need to work together or we get ourselves destroyed and enslaved forever! quote author=TheChameleon post=93428856] Only bastards deny their origins. Be proud of una cowardly men and harlot women That's all.
[ Its really sad that most Nigerians out of joblessness dont mind their business. Similar happened to me but not with a married woman, her aunt was Fmr Commissioner of Police, but thank God the girl was the one visiting my house and i had a Commissioner and another DIG of Police then as my blood uncles, when the woman learnt of them she withdrew her threat and i was the one been begged cos i wanted to make it an issue with the woman. They even threatened the girl to lie that i raped her, she refused and in a meeting said she was coming to me and i never raped her. This is one of things that made me to appreciate women. If my jealous neighbors minded their bisiness, this issue wouldnt have occured. Too bad, a life has been lost. :quote author=Updating9JA post=93420477] https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/man-killed-for-accusing-neighbour-of-sleeping-with-co-tenants-wife/%3famp=1
[ In as much i abhor rape, taking ones life because a wrong he committed which you have not committed doesnt make you different from him because you are guilty in other things too. The rapist can be beaten to coma then handed to the Police. Its more evil to shed blood, i pity the police, Dss and Military that kill innocent people...they dont know they themselves wont live long and their children will also partake in that curse too. It is just the simple law of nature bro. Think twice and reset your mindset. Thank you. quote author=IamD18 post=93413170]And what happens next? He goes to jail, comes out and continue again. If by this time, you don't know that jungle justice is the only befitting punishment for rapists and false rape accusers, then you are either a rapist or a false rape accuser.
[ You women have alot to play, its high time women take up their responsibilities and start educating their children about bad governance. See it as your duty to teach your children, since naturally women stay closer to the kids than the men. If other women take up this incentive, i believe there will be a drastic change in future. Presently, we have to enlighten, men and women the need to shun violence and partisanship, it has got us no where. We should please look deep and see that these politicians have really played us long using us both as tools of violence to carry out their political ambitions as well as exploiting us in every area. That is why i beg those in Edo, Rivers, etc to say no to violence, whether from APC or from anyother party. Let them sort it out by the ballot. Enough is enough!!! Less talk, more actions(These politicians call us fools when they are alone drinking and dining). quote author=Wiseandtrue post=93407164] I was about to type "I hope it's not talk as usual" when I came across the comment above Revealing their intentions, how unserious they are and how unserious they will continue to be!!! What has changed on the state government not to talk of local government ![]() On local government issue, nothing has changed!!! If anything changed from your side please share!!! Poverty eradication by paying N30,000 to a selected few then taking it back through multiple taxation from everybody ![]() This government is not ready to serve the poor which seems to be in the majority in Nigeria!!! Even the 774,000 jobs meant for the poor was shared amongst themselves So who are they trying to deceive with "calm down" now ![]() Make sure you settle that boy ooooo let it not be like that of the Rex institute!!!
[ Do APC think Nigerians are stupid. Am glad they even agreed that revolution is needed to remedy Nigeria but to have Buhari lead it, is an OXYMORON. Yes PDP did not do better and didnt implement the recommendation but APC is the most party in the history of Nigeria. That is why they use violence in every election, because they know Apc cant win a single seat in a free and fair election. It is imperative, Nigerians start to know its their future and our childrens we morgage when we help a corrupt party be in power. I must say, am pleased to see less hatred amongst nairalanders unlike before and also less deaths as a result of armed robbery. It is our collective voices that will make the difference-i implore you Nigerians on behalf of the weak and poor to please dont be the thug Apc or PDP will use in any election. Your life is more valuable than that change they pay and remember, these Politicians dont really care about your deaths. Please think twice for the good of all. quote author=Omooba77 post=93406202] https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/08/apc-to-nigerians-calm-down-restructuring-has-begun/amp/
I didnt say that, did i? Just gave my own opinion, i say this to both the girls and to the guys, nobody worth your death or you taking anothers life for whatsoever reason because of love. Believe me i have multiple pretty girls of different cadres, but i dont give shit about what they do as long as whenever i need their attention i get it. This not about been simp or not, its about staying alive and happy. quote author=KelvinCX post=93421709] I'm not a simp
There is hope, it depends on the individual and his or her experiences in life as well as personal attributes-all these play a major role in ones life. I have dated a girl for 5years before without cheating on her but had to quit. I have met girls that truly would make better wives(maybe), but its kinda late ,as far as am concerned marriage is a contract. I despise guys or girls that commit suicide because of heartbreak, if i get to their graves i will spit on it.They are very stupid! People shoukd try to boost their confidence, not leeching to somelse in the name of love. BronzeMajik: |
Thanks to technology and social decadence. Most sex i have nowadays, are only based on physical attraction, thank God for the looks at least i dont sweat or promise heaven and earth to a girl to get laid. Gracias senorita. BronzeMajik: |
To be honest, my perception about relationship has changed so i dont know what to say. I dont give my heart away and i can also invest in my wife not gf to avoid this kind of situation like yours. Does it really worth it? Dying because of someone who never knew u existed before, all in the name of love. Wake up mi lady and wise up!!! BronzeMajik: |
Its always a game, even life itself mi lady. May d best win in there. Stay tight. Evercurious: |

[ Congrats bro, seems you made it here in Abuja. Its good to stay focused. quote author=law001 post=44289592]This thread is inspired by a touching story of a Nairalander (Pretty002) on fp today. READ! https://www.nairaland.com/3019959/trials-fresh-abuja-resident Introduction: Abuja is a fast growing city that presents great prospects hence many Nigerian Youths especially graduates ( a handful from neighbouring countries) troop into this Nigeria Big Apple to either pursue their career or work for a living. No doubt, Abuja's population is increasing by the day majority of which are youths. Hence it is peculiar to meet various challenges in this fast growing city. Some of the problems that are common will be listed and discussed and possible ways of coping with then will be proffered. While doing this, I'll briefly state my personal experience as a Fresher and how I'm surviving as I'm still a fresher. Please note that there is no hard and fast rule of survival. What will work for Peter (my late father's name) might not work for Paul. Read and learn. 1. Accommodation: This was and is still the biggest problem in Abuja... for those who didn't read Pretty002's story, she discussed extensively how she has been suffering from this same issue. But do you know that there are more empty houses in Abuja than the ones people live in? That's by the way side though. For freshers, this poses a big problem. For those planning on coming to abuja to work or stay, accommodation in Abuja is very expensive far expensive than Lagos. For those doubting Thomas, come and see for yourself. So when coming here, plan on where to stay at least for the first few months before you can get your own place. Solution: Please and please before leaving home, create a network of TRUSTED friends minimum of 2 living Abuja already that you can stay with for the time being. For me, I had 3 friends I could stay with when I was coming to Abuja. And to avoid too much shakara from any, I was shuttling the 3 houses during the weekends but I spent the week in one of the houses cus it was in town closer to my workplace. Always suggest and support any arrangement that will encourage better leaving for your host. As for me, the very first dat I stayed at my friends place, I contributed a larger part in buying gas, I did the dishes even when I didn't use them. Subsequently, I supported him financially in paying for water bill, bought groceries and cooked. Please don't see it as slavery. You are the one at the disadvantaged end here. Except you are very comfortable, do not stay in your friends place more than 3 months. Have a plan of getting your own place when you get a job, no matter how small or how far the place is. Lastly, on accommodation, please ladies! Do not stay in a guy's house unless he's your brother or close and very close relative. 2. Getting a Job: This is also another tough part in Abuja. Getting a job is not easy at all. Although I got my present job 2 days upon landing Abuja, I have friends who up till now are still searching for job. Please plan well and don't rely on that uncle that promised to give you a job once you move to Abuja (due respect to those faithful to their words). As for me, immediately I stepped into Abuja, I started searching for job the next morning. I moved from office to office, I printed my CV and made lots of copies. I submitted my CV in several offices. On the next day I continued. I still remember my line whenever I entered any office. "I'm a lawyer, my name is... I moved into Abuja yesterday and I decided to move round to see if there is any vacancy for a lawyer". The answer was usually NO until I walked into my present office and fortunately for me, there were conducting interview for lawyers and luckily I was the only one employed after the interview. 3. Cost of transportation: after accommodation, transportation is the most expensive thing in Abuja. Some people spend about A thousand naira going to work every day. Have a plan of financing your transportation at least before you get a job to when you get a job and paid. Do not rely on your host to give you transport even if your host is your relative. 4. Feeding: this won't pose a major problem unless you are eating at your hosts house. Always support the cooking arrangement in the house. Do not be a virus. Even if your host is not the cooking type, please suggest you guys cook to save money. And even if you don't know how to cook, try it. No matter how bad your cooking is, your host will see your genuine interest in supporting him/her. 5. Neatness at all time: Please always appear neat and presentable at all time. It is very sacrosanct to your living in Abuja. Always clean your surroundings, where you stay and work. No matter how dirty and untidy you are at home, please always clean your hosts apartment whether you contributed to the dirt or not. 6. Define your class: Please be informed that all classes exist here in Abuja. Below low class, low class, below middle class, middle class, below high class, high class very high class, etc. It can be tempting to leave above your class especially if you meet the wrong persons when you get here. As for me, when I got here, I stayed with a friend that loves drinking every night, I mean every night. Even though I was not the one paying, I felt it is not appropriate to do so especially as it was affecting my new job. So most times I discourage them from going or I don't go with them and this prompted me to get my own apartment quickly as I didn't want to lose focus of what brought me to Abuja. Abuja presents an environment to lavish your money if you are not wise. Spend cautiously and remember those you left home. 7. Be prayerful: This point is very vital. To me, I got my job through the prayer I said before I entered the premises of my current workplace. No matter what believe you have or your religion, please be prayerful. It's sacrosanct to your survival here in Abuja. Conclusively, please note that I am less than 2 months in Abuja. I got my apartment from my first salary, soft loan from a friend and home support. Although I was flat broke after I rented my place, I'm happy and I have rest of mind.
