iammo:Wike is only enforcing the federal government laws,no inter state movement in the airspace, even Caverton knows this. Bristow that has more clients is adhering to the laws. All terminals have adopted stringent rules to prevent the spread of the virus knowing the peculiar nature of their work environment. The key word here is 'safety'. Does Carverton or Bristow fly passengers from Naf base located in Ph to Escravos in Delta? |
iammo:Apparently the ban also affects airspace,i.e movement from one state boundary to another. Caverton flying to offshore locations is not the issue, flying passengers from another state to locations in Rivers is where they ran foul of the law. Bristow helicopters has far so been operating within the confines of the law which is very clear.Fly from Naf base to any offshore or onshore locations within the state but dont cross state boundaries. |

SUMMARY OF THE FINDINGS FROM THE BLAST SITE AT AKURE From the Blast site at Akure. My Research group carried out a detailed analysis of the impact site. A circular impact crater with 21m diameter and 7.8m depth was found which suggest a natural phenomenal. Water was found oozing out from the edges of the crater. A preliminary insitu vibration, noise, seismicity, water analysis, radioactivity studies, rock and soil investigation were carried out. Our findings suggest that the impact of the blasting covers 1km radius of the surroundings of the crater. No evidence of fire or Burning of anything was found within the vicinity. No evidence of radioactivity radiation was found within the crater and immediate vicinity. The field evidence point to a conclusion that A METEORIC FROM AN ASTEROID BELT THAT TRAVELS AT A GREAT SPEED FROM SPACE IMPACTED THE LOCATION AT AN ANGLE OF 43 degrees created an ejecta at South-Western part. No evidence of buried vehicle, buried ordinance or IED was found. However, crack opening that vary in thickness from 3mm to 4metres occurs on the wall of most of the buildings but not at the base of the buildings. Also, foreign rocks and strange metallic objects we're found within the crater. Most of the destruction occurs on top and roof/ceilings of the buildings. Thank you, Professor Adepelumi A. Chinese don’t want conflict and war. They want a peaceful rise, security and harmony among all peoples of the world. Chinese feel wars destroy lives, livelihoods, infrastructure, and culture…time, money, and effort better spent creating wealth, health, and a better way of life for Chinese citizens and for the world at large. However, in today’s world, she feels she must be strong enough so she will not suffer again as she did during her ‘century of humiliation’. The Chinese government is based on ‘meritocracy’ and a political system that creates discussion from the bottom up so at the top, the best decision has been decided by those who are closer to the problems and issues that need to be resolved by government plan or edict. Senior members of government have had to demonstrate their economic and political leadership skills through successful administrative governance at lower levels. For China, a one party system has always worked well and efficiently. If you look closely, the ‘Emperor’s mandate of heaven’ is very similar to the one party system in today’s China. If the Emperor (President in today’s world) can’t deliver the goods or not in the best interest of the country or her people, he/she can/will be replaced. Multi-party efforts were experimented in the past and they brought dissension and inefficiency to the political structure…so for her, a pyramidal government where citizens get to vote and say what they like and don’t like gets passed upwards until it can be distilled at the top for actionable resolution. Obviously many problems can be handled at the local or provincial level, but those requiring national attention are brought to the nation’s leaders for solution. In this way, national leaders can focus on macro level problems and provide national level leadership (future vision). There is a ‘escape valve’ mechanism that allows the citizens to ‘petition’ the central government if they feel the local government doesn’t adjudicate satisfactorily or aggrieves their issues and problem. In some areas, it seems to work, in others it is questionable. In the past local governments tended to block citizens from seeking this adjudication. China wants others to understand China and her culture better and China wants to understand and work with others better. China hopes that a world community that is peaceful is beneficial to all citizens of the world. Masao Miwa |
I don't know anything about him, Except that he’s Chinese, he sat beside me right across the aisle, all calm and quiet, minding his own business. We were going to Lahore, it was a five hours drive. I want to say that I liked him, there was something about him that just felt right. He was a good man. A part of me wished to interact with him but I didn’t… just for the sake of his space and peace of mind. Two hours passed and the steward announced of a short stop at the rest area. This is when he looked at me and politely asked “for how long the stay would be here?” I said, 15 minutes. At the rest area, I got out of the bus and stretched my legs. It was quite a place actually, there were restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops. So then I noticed the Chinese guy coming out of McDonald’s, he walked towards bus with quite a handful actually, wielding two big ice creams cones, burger and a drink. Instead of going inside the Bus, he stopped before the driver and steward who were standing right in front of the bus and presented them the ice creams with a gentle smile and leaned his head while at it. Both of them paused in awe for a second, hesitated but then accepted the treats with a smile and thanks. He then went inside the bus. And here I was, looking at this scene. It amazed me, how thoughtful and kind of him really! No this wasn’t a show off. It was a built in attitude, a dogma. I could sense that right there. Though I like to think I am a kind person in general, I toot my horn of empathy here and there, but this gesture of him just told me that I’m not even half of him when it comes to decency, generosity and courtesy. No, I have never done that. More pathetically, I have never even thought of it. And to add a little insult to the injury, I have never seen any one else doing that! My Goodness, this one Chinese Guy just outclassed me and anyone that I know of. No wonder, they’re progressing way better than us in every aspect of life. So to answer the question, we “the Pakistanis” can definitely learn a thing or two about being more lenient, empathetic and kind from the Chinese people. Promoted by Adam Fayed

I was bored today and decided to log into nairaland to while away the time as usual. After getting a doze of updates on the novel covid-19 updates I decided to switch to quora and saw an interesting topic about the Chinese people. I would be sharing some of the comments made about these people, their ethics and general outlook to life... |

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has faulted its proscription on the basis that it was not approved by the President , Major General Muhammadu Buhari ( retd ) , as required by law . The group , popularly known as Shiites , is led by Sheikh Ibraheem El- Zakzaky , The IMN said Justice Nkeonye Maha of the Federal High Court in Abuja , in issuing the proscription order on July 26 , 2019 , relied on a memo by the Chief of Staff to the President , Abba Kyari , claiming to have conveyed the presidential approval for the proscription application to the National Security Adviser , Babagana Mogunno . The IMN ’ s legal team led by Femi Falana ( SAN ) , also referred to a recently leaked memo addressed to the service chiefs , in which the author , Mogunno , accused Kyari of usurping presidential powers regarding matters , particularly relating to security . The group also claimed neither Kyari ’ s memo nor a letter by Mogunno , dated July 23 , 2019 , requesting Buhari ’ s approval for the IMN ’ s proscription was exhibited in court. These are contained in Shiites ’ reply on points of law filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja in support of their suit challenging the court order proscribing and designating them as a terrorist group . But the Federal Government in its documents filed at the court insisted that the proscription followed the law In the reply filed on February 28 , Falana argued that Section 2 ( 1 ) ( c ) of the Terrorism Prevention ( Amendment) Act 2013 categorically provided that “it is the approval of the President that must be sought and obtained and not that of any Chief of Staff to the President ” . The group argued that its claim in its application for the reversal of the ban that the necessary presidential approval not obtained was not debunked by Federal Government . “ Aside from the furious ruse made by the applicant /respondent at paragraph 4 . 21 – 4 . 23 of the counter-affidavit , the material allegation raised by the respondent / applicant ( IMN ) that the approval of the President was never sought and obtained and properly exhibited as required by the Terrorism Prevention Amendment Act 2013 was never disproved and controverted by the application , ” Falana argued . He also said, “ The Chief of Staff, Mr Abba Kyari , however powerful , is not the President and assuming without conceding that the NSA sought his consent and approval to proscribe the respondent / applicant herein , any approval so sought and obtained is null and void for failing to conform to a statutory stipulation . ” The group also made reference to Monguno ’ s memo to the service chiefs to corroborate its point that Kyari had no constitutional role and that his memo said to have conveyed Buhari ’ s approval was a nullity . Their lawyers said, “Particularly , where the very state official coordinating and supervising all the security apparatus in the country has accused the same Chief Staff ( a merely itinerary employee of the President who has no constitutional role whatsoever of usurping the powers of the President , undermining security apparatus, allegations that borders on treason and flagrant desecration of the constitution . ” The group also said Kyari and Moguno ’ s memos categorised as Exhibit FGN 10 , “ was referred to in an affidavit ” but “ was not attached to the said affidavit ” therefore “ cannot be said to be part of the proceedings so as to be acted upon . ” https://punchng.com/abba-kyari-not-buhari-approved-our-ban-say-shiites/

The aim of ippis is being defeated with all these irregularities, last month salaries were also delayed. Last December it was glaring that ippis cld be a conduit pipe to siphoning funds,in some organisation workers on a same grade where paid different salaries.Who accounts for the shortfall in that situation? ASUU has seen that this thing is scam hence their reluctance to be captured in the system. What makes it annoying is that up till now no official statement from ippis on the delay. |
