What exactly do we do in this country that is government owned. ? That we don't have to pay one organization? Is there anything? I thought we generate electricity. Which one is GenCos again?
guobe: I shake my head when I see young girls getting married to very rich men in the name of the man is rich so I don't need to study him ,I will just marry him so far he is rich.
Oh girl if you are in that school of thought, better rethink.
There is this particular man I know ,stinking rich then because now the money Don finish. The mans character is zero as in high tempered.
This young lady got married to him without her barely dating him because he was rich. Her own was rich man wants to marry me,I will accept.
When they got married the man insisted that she should be a stay at home wife because the previous wife he had was working and the marriage collapsed so he felt with a stay at home wife he will be able to control this present wife.
Fast forward to this present day,he has remarried his former wife that he left and wants to drive the present wife.
Ladies should be careful as all that glitters is not gold.
While you are right.
If he has remarried his former wife and like you said "money don finish", it means the first wife truly loves him and not for the money.
I feel like developing some digital skills to bully those who enjoy bullying other on this cyber space. Making a caricature of them and making it go viral would have been a good way to start😅😅. I would start with VeryDarkMan
grandstar: Most states are not economically viable. It is therefore all nonsense.
You don't need to create states to bring development.
Creating more states in this current economic situation isn't an intelligent thing to do. How will the new states government survive? It'll only result in more hardship for the people of the states.
Goodlady: How I Helped My Sister With Food Items And Accessories To Take To Canada. Recently, my sister escaped from this hard country to Canada for greener pastures. Many of you knew me on this site as that young girl with sharp mouth. Well, I may be choleric but I m also nice. So this February, sister went to Ontario. I knew she'd miss home. I went to Wuse market and nearby street shops n bought varieties. I waka-waka my rubber slippers cut. My sister is a picky type that eat light foods but she still love our local dishes. She's going to miss home 😭 and I just want her to v her favorite foods as long as she can. Though she can patronize African stores over there too. As I m typing this, I can't wait to see her, am so happy for her and I hope to relocate too via marriage in future. Hm, God when?
Anyways I ll list some of the items as I post them here. They are educative and useful for people going abroad too. There are some items you can take along like razor blades, shaving sticks, stock fish, palm oil, locust beans, garri, beans, rice, onions, matches, polish, makeup props, grinded beans for moinmoin or akara, crayfish, beans, balls, sellotape, dried pepper, potash, bathroom slippers, cleansers, needles and threads to sew post letter tear-tear undies or clothes. 😂 In fact, just carry any small daily use item we use here and conceal them well cos of over sabi long throat immigration officers at airport. It ll shock you you can buy a packet of blade that's not up to N1,000 for over $20 Canadian dollars, that's over N20K in Nigeria. Imagine blade pack kan for N20K? It no shock you? So below are items I packed for her and she's enjoying them there. 😂
Pic 1, Carton of coaster biscuit, table size mortar and pestle for her to grind pepper and packs of match sticks.
You don't compare currencies out there when making purchase, she'll be earning in Canadian dollar not in naira so she should be able to afford the blade at whatever cost it is sold there. If you wan dey convert, you no go eat sef. When you go buy 2 raps of eba and soup + meat for near or over $20. Where as in Nigeria, $1 or $2 max would do.
Paraman: Even though this news put a smile on my face but "in weeks" tu ni? 😦
NNPCL won't need to spend billions of dollars importing petrol, jet fuel, kerosene, diesel etc once the PH and Dangote refinery start selling. this will lead to the naira breathing some fresh air soon.
Does the fuel they are talking about include petrol?
NairaOcean: Four Nigerian policemen stationed at a checkpoint along the Jalingo-Yola highway have garnered widespread praise for their integrity after they turned down a staggering N8 million bribe offered by arrested criminals. The officers were approached by individuals attempting to secure their release by offering a substantial sum.
Despite facing financial hardships, the policemen remained steadfast in their commitment to upholding the law and refused the bribe. Their principled stand against corruption has sparked admiration from citizens across the nation.
The incident serves as a beacon of hope in the ongoing battle against corruption within law enforcement agencies in Nigeria, highlighting the importance of integrity and ethical conduct among public servants. The authorities have commended the officers for their exemplary behavior and pledged to reward them for their integrity.
ivolt: I know, I was just trying to point out that there is nothing special about the Kenya case. I am certain they are not the exclusive inventor of the biodegradable material. If we want to replace Nylon we can, the only negative is increased cost of goods.
Kaybaba5: They should have a better plan on how to deal with it cos it's going to cause unemployment and jobless people can contribute to insecurity that we are trying to put under control. This Styrofoam products are also used in UK We should stop creating problems for ourselves
If it truly contains what it is said to contain, then I think it is worth the ban. By the way, you can't relate its usage here to that of the UK. people introduce harmful chemicals to products when they see it would increase yield. It's possible that chemical is absent in those used in the UK. Consider the recent report on noodles for example. The one sold in Malaysia was said to be harmful when consumed while in Nigeria , it was said not to contain the chemical. Besides, different industries are involved in the production of the material and some might make use of harmful chemicals in the process and ship the products into unsuspecting countries where quality control checks could be bypassed.
Cassandraloius: The rate of irrelevant banning of things is becoming insensitive.
This is not irrelevant Bro. You should take time to see what it is said to contain and the damage it could do. I think SON failed on their part to carry out proper analysis of the material before allowing its import/production.
ivolt: Does Kenyans have exclusive non-export rights to the biodegradable bags?
not sure. They would definitely be willing to export. While that's an option, I think producing the bags in Nigeria would be a better alternative to that.
UptownVibes: Kidnappers just dey cashout o. Come blike say them dey pay Tax to FG.
DSS dey sleep now, they can't track shit.
Try insult Tinubulation now.. Even if you hide inside rat hole, they will come inside and fly you to abuja...
At least you'd enjoy free flight. The only bad thing is that the flight is too short so there won't be free food. I'd prefer Qatar airline though. They have TV on each seat. So one would enjoy small before the torture commences.
