Weak plot?? I don't think so. I'm very adept at spotting plot holes, believe me. I hereby challenge you to list some of the plot holes present on both seasons if you can.

Not impressed?? Well, one man's trivial is another man's wisdom. Personally, I was impressed by the plot cinematography, and most importantly, the execution. The witty dialogues, the suspense and surrealistic display of cut throat world of politics is exceptional to say the least.

Spacey's portrayal of Francis Underwood is off the chain. He made the character his in every sense. Robin Wright's Claire Underwood is your typical ice queen, the "WOMAN" behind the MAN. Both of 'em nailed their respective characters on both seasons and I would very much love to see what happens next.

January 2015, where at thou? OITNB, True Detective, GOT, Shameless (US), House Of Cards... Can't wait.

Like seriously?? You're still celebrating a long forgotten and cancelled TV show?? Too much time in your hands, mate.

Network shows bore me nowadays. I find them either too tamed, too childish or unoriginal. With the exception of NBC's The Blacklist, I can't stand watching shows with dialogue conspicuously watered down to exclude profanities, scenes noticeably devoid of nude scenes, even when shot inside a strip club or brothel, tamed gun fights conspicuously devoid of good ol' blood and gore. Provocative sex scenes non-existent. Memorable Quotes a pipe dream.

I have premium cable frontrunners like HBO and Showtime and basic cable heavyweights like FX and AMC to thank for my present predicament. They serve 'em up hardcore... just the way I like 'em.

So many new shows coming out... Alas, 95% are from network, and predictably... boring. Most definitely not for me.

I learnt a lot from American Pie series, especially from 1-3. I learnt of the word "Milf" for example. Truly inspiring.

Pure unadulterated blue Meth hoax. The rollercoaster known as "Breaking Bad" grinded to an end earlier this year and decommissioned thereafter. The spinoff "Better Call Saul" is expected to be opened to the public early next year. Everyone is invited... after all, it's a basic cable rollercoaster just like it's predecessor.

Cronos is Titan, no? The topic said Gods/Goddesses. Titans are not Gods in a traditional sense. According to greek mythology, the greeks rarely view them as deities.

Atlas is a god however, though not particularly an exceptional one.

In original Greek mythology, Kratos is not a God. He's merely a servant (an enforcer) to Zeus and the rest of Olympus.

I respectfully disagree. Dude has potential.

As for Dutch, it goes beyond mere daddy issues. Hers was a story about a young girl who left home at a very young age. Found herself in a cold unrelenting harsh world where "surviving" is the only way to stay ahead of the game. She got the smarts, tech savvy and most importantly - like most hackers - despised the government. Someone like that doesn't need a lot of convincing to create chaos with just a few strokes of the keyboard. I'm not saying that I approved of what she did, but I can relate.

Sacrifice has been a major theme running throughout this first season of The Strain, but as the clock ticks down towards next week’s finale, a sense remains that, for everything that the characters have lost so far, it still won’t be enough.

"Episode 12" sees a last-ditch effort by Eph and the group come together, with the aim of informing the general public about the strain. And though that plan appears successful, the only thing that’s clear when the dust settles is that the group remains hopelessly outmatched. Every time they cut down a vamp, another five are there to take its place.

Currently taking a break from the temptations of TV series... what with my masters coming up and all. Too many fantasy and magic in TV series nowadays. I like 'em practical and hardcore with ample mature content.

Have no favs. Before I invest on a TV show, there are certain criterions that must be addressed. There are 4 of 'em:

-Blood and gore
-Nudity and sex,
-Use of strong language (profanity), and
-Witty dialogues with memorable quotes

I judge all TV shows I come in contact with, with the above. The very reason I love TV shows like Breaking Bad, GOT, Spartacus, Strike Back, The Sopranos, Broadwalk Empire and The Walking Dead, and despise shows like Agent of F.O.O.L.S, Devious Maids (Mexican Telenovela in disguise), Witches of East End (More like Pussycats of East end), Crisis (Thank the stars it's cancelled), Elementary (A lousy interpretation of Sherlock Holmes), and all the CW productions with one notable exception - Supernatural.
