nani667:It was a good movie and I'm glad that it's doing well. Scarlett Johansson deserved it, and so did Florence Pugh. The latter's Yelena is already one of the best MCU characters in my opinion. I wish Antonia was more of a character than a plot device but other than that I loved it, I'll probably put it in the category of Captain America 1 and Thor 1. Honestly, the only thing I felt was missing to make this movie stand next to Winter Soldier was making the Red Room an actual threat connected to the rest of the MCU. They could've shown that they were behind something *tangible*, actually name dropping a significant event or two, rather than the nebulous "we control the world" speech. Hell, maybe show they were close to filling the void Hydra left. But ya... I enjoyed the movie. I feel sorry for the neckbeards that hated the movie because.. feminism. |
Gaddam! This thread is filled with incels, lmao. |
It's such a waste to build a magnificent stadium like this for a boring sport like American Football. |
It's a fickle world, isn't it? People will condemn something when it doesn't favor them, but the moment they find themselves no longer at a disadvantage, they won't hesitate to do the very thing they initially condemned. I reckon there's a word for the phenomenon, I believe it's called hypocrisy. @Achilles100, I'm looking at you. |
IngeniousLeez:Mera was historically a minor character in Aquaman lore. |
Adakintroy:Graham Potter for starters. If his name is Gramez Potterico, he'd be a PL top 6 manager. |
palechestnut:Final Destination 6 is in development stage. It will probably hit the cinemas next year. Would have hit sooner if not for Covid-19. |
IngeniousLeez:You assumed that she will be replaced if she's fired but that might not be the case at all. Mera character is not important to the story, so perhaps, WB could completely remove Mera from Aquaman 2? It's a possibility. |
MrMacinterchi1:You're talking as if it's a certainty. Right now, it's a mere speculation. German FA hasn't said anything about replacing Jorgi Low with Klopp, and neither has Liverpool said something to that effect. Rumor doesn't equate to fact, take note. |
Adakintroy:England has a lot of tactical brilliant managers that go largely ignored due to the bias given to foreign managers. |
WriterX:From what I'd read from other sources, there's a speculation that Klopp would likely take the German managerial job if it's offered. BBC Sports (my № one source for credible sports news) hasn't reported it, so for now, it's safe to say it's a mere speculation/rumor. Thence, Mirror coming out with the Gerrard angle is nothing but pure fabrication. |
Take this news with plenty of salt. The Mirror tabloid is known for fake news. |
DandeNumeruno:I love this. *Slow clap* |
toluxe0075:One thing more pathetic than white conservatism is black conservatism. |
Davidganna10:Good! Serves her right. I hate racists. |
israelmao:Plastic is not eco friendly. |
Godzilla vs Kong is Superman vs Batman minus kryptonite. Godzilla stomps Kong. |
JuIiusmalema:I have accounts in many online platforms. |
JuIiusmalema:There is no maybe here, she's a documented racist. |
JuIiusmalema:She's Pro -Trump, anti immigration, has an account in Parler (Neo Nazi platform), etc. Find another person to crush on, this one isn't worth it. |
JuIiusmalema:Gina Carano. She's a racist. She won't look at your black ass twice. |
herbaylove:The MSI destroys the PS4 in graphics, FPS, and performance. The two are not comparable. In PC, you can play games with better graphics than consoles. Sure, it's true that gaming consoles are easier for casual gaming on the couch, but in terms of raw firepower, PC trumps console. |
herbaylove:Yes. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C4GkLohUkAI9pey.jpg Twitch streamers use this method all the time. |
herbaylove:With HDMI cable, you can link your PC to a 4K TV and use it's screen as your PC monitor. |
- Years and Years: Has a Black Mirror feel to it. Poignant stuff. Not Chernobyl extreme level of bleak but bleak in it's own right. Extremely watchable and fairly depressing. - Watchmen: A lot of individuals won't be able to appreciate the layers of profundity this show has, but I am loving it. Regina King and Buster Scruggs are impeccable. - The Mandalorian: This is probably the most I've enjoyed a Star Wars property in a long time. Premium entertainment. - Limetown: just completed the series and thought it was amazing. It has pretty good writing and direction, and is paced very well. •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° Check my siggy |
Falling Down (1993) Genre: Crime, Action, Drama, Thriller It's a 1993 crime thriller directed by Joel Schumacher, and written by Ebbe Roe Smith. The film stars Micheal Douglass in the lead role, in what is arguably his most complex role till date. In this film, he's both the villain and the victim. The theme revolves around mental illness, and the societal factors contributing to it. The story is about a man who had a nervous breakdown while stuck in a traffic dreadlock in a sweltering weather condition, and proceeded to unleash his frustration on the society. What I loved most about the film is the gallows humour. Even when it's at it's darkest, it's darkly hilarious. In my opinion, it should have been marketed as a black-comedy, in light of the fact that the plot contains critical components of dark humour. Michael Douglas depiction of mental illness is extremely convincing. He managed to humanize an otherwise despicable character in more ways than one. I couldn't help but empathize with his plight. Robert Duvall on this part, put in a decent shift, though by and large, inferior to Douglas' scintillating performance. Loved the 90s themed cinematography and score. What makes it even better is the authenticity of it. None of the faux 90s settings cooked up in the studio nowadays. Nah, this is the real sh*t. The 90s score contributed immensely in encapsulating the era's culture, and spirit. That being said, it does get a tad pretentious at times, and can get too clever for it's own good. Some of which are bound to be clinge-worthy to an attentive audience. To conclude, it's a lighthearted interpretation of complex socioeconomic issues pervading our society. Mental health issues cannot be overemphasized. °•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° Check my siggy |
avalon7:Laptop battery. Remove it from the computer and plug it in without the battery. |
avalon7:3 things cause black screens in PCs, namely; RAM module, CPU and battery. Follow the instructions below to the letter. RayMcBlue:If this extensive hard reset doesn't work, remove the battery from your laptop, and connect the laptop to a power source. If it still fails to boot up, then your CPU is probably burnt out. If it boots up normally, then the battery is defective. |
IbrahimMav:Congrats. |
frankobobby:Your system will run as normal since it's presently running on single channel memory. Ultimately, it's going to depend heavily on the games you play. While some games won't care, memory intensive game will see an exponential frame rate drop due to the mediocre processing power of a single channel memory. You really need a dual channel memory setup. 4x2 is superior to 8x1, 8x2 is superior to 16x1, and so on. |
