It is simply not possible in every possible scenario you can imagine. Boko Haram cannot even Islamize Borno State alone as an independent Islamic state, let alone the whole of Northern Nigeria. Let's even assume that is even possible, just for the sake of argument. How will they go about Islamizing the south and its 100 million Christians? Will you as a Christian (I presume; sorry if I am wrong) simply stand by and watch Boko Haram take over your state? Will the international community simply watch Boko Haram take over Nigeria? smileyoo: |
I am not mocking anybody. It is painful enough for me to wake up in the morning and read news that a church was attacked, a community was attacked, and so-and-so people were killed. It is sad, and I wish we didn't find ourselves in this precarious situation. I find it appalling that people are putting religion at the center of such a fundamental problem, making it an us vs. them. How are we going to solve the problem if everybody keeps thinking and feeling that way? When a Christian is killed, the Muslim will turn a blind eye, and when a Muslim is killed, the Christian will act as if nothing happened. How does that solve anything? Oracleee: |
Every Nigerian has to speak up; all I am saying is that the moment you put religion at the center of everything. It becomes an us vs. them, and we will not be any closer to solving the problem. TenQ: |
Religious people and sense can never alignDatNiggaDaz: |
May your own end be worse than content creation's. Nonesense. I am just stating the obvious fact. People are dying, yet you religious folks always aim to spin the narrative to suit your perspective of the world. Killermamba: |
How can you possibly believe Nigeria will be Islamized? How will that happen? Nigeria is a secular country; there are over 100 million Christians in Nigeria. So are they going to convert the 100 million Christians or what? Are they going to overun the military and stage a coup, is the rest of Nigeria and the world simply stand by as boko haram take over aso rock. How are you people reasoning things self? smileyoo: |
I left religion 3 years ago (bunch of organized lies) and I detest when religious people weaponize religion. DatNiggaDaz: |

I can't believe Iran have so much leverage over the entire world. |
Funny man. When you started the war, you didn't seek a coalition; now that the repercussions have come, you are seeking a coalition. You must finish what you started, Sir. |
This is probably because their objectives are different. |
What an unintelligent statement to make. |
You think the US is perfect? You think their intelligence is always perfect? You think all the actions of the US are in good faith? Now who is dwelling in false information? LotannaWallace: |
What a sad turn of events |
I really don't know how true it is that they are sponsors of terrorists groups like Boko Haram and ISIS, because these are sunni groups spreading sunni ideologies, I don't see what a shiite would gain by sponsoring them. But Hezbollah on the other hand are Shiites, so it is reasonable to believe Iran is sponsoring them. As for Hamas, even though they are sunni Muslims, Iran may be obliged to support them before October 7, because of the oppression the Palestinians. The truth is that we all consider Hamas a terrorist group (there is simply no defense for October 7), but then before October 7, let us tell ourselves the truth, Israel was oppressing, brutalizing and abusing the Palestinians (that's another story in its self). Israel believe that the land between the river Nile to the Euphrates is theirs by birth right, that is simply wrong. Arostar2023: |

I stopped practicing religion almost 3 years ago. These are things I used to know. Christlike01: |
Growing up, I barely knew anything about Shiites, other than the usual conspiracy theories about how evil they are. So because of this war, I decided to do a deep dive on what Shia is all about. Basically, the Shia sect were originally a group of Muslims who believed that after the death of Prophet Muhammad, his cousin Ali bin Abu-Talib should have become the leader of Muslims (this is a reasonable stance), but the other Muslims chose Abubakar since he was the one whom the prophet regarded as his deputy during his life (this is also reasonable). The problem started when Ali was killed and Mua'awiyya hijacked the leadership position. Shiites believe Hassan or Hussein, who were the grandchildren of the prophet, should have become the leader. But Hassan and Hussein refused to accept Mu'awiyya; they fled the city of Mecca, and Mu'awiyya hunted them with 3,000 men and murdered them in the most gruesome means possible. He killed all 71 of Hussein's family and companions. This was where conventional Shia Islam was born. those who defied the brutality of Mu'awiyya and chose death over servitude. This is the very foundation on which Shia Islam is built. Do not oppress, and do not be oppressed. So when Israel was oppressing Palestinians, they took it upon themselves to be their protectors. When Blacks were oppressed in South Africa during apartheid, Iran was the first to offer help. When they arrested hundreds of American soldiers during the revolution, Khomenei released only women and Black soldiers (he told them they suffered enough). So if the US and Israel think they can threaten, kill, or bribe Shiites into submission, they are in for a big disappointment. These are people whose faith is built on sacrifice and blood. Iran's only crime today is that they refused to turn a blind eye to the atrocities of Israel in Palestine, like the Saudis and the Qataris. If they had done so, they would be living large by now. |
So people still dey pray for 2026. |
How in God's name would I be happy with Hamas? I didn't even know anything about Hamas until well into 2024. Segxydube: |
Its not about how much Israel can harm Iran. All we are saying is fight your mate. SpatialKing: |
Now this is what I call a war. Not what Israel was doing in Gaza. If you want to fight, fight someone who has the capacity to fight back. |
Now this is what I call a war, no be that one wey Israel dey do for Gaza. If you want fight, follow person wey fit fight back fight. |
There is no 'other side.' This life is all there is. You die, you are dead, you are done. themanderon: |
This will take a nasty turn |
You go about sponsoring terrorism all over the world in the name of religion and you want to be taken as a liberator.
