It simply doesn't matter if Israel kill 100 Iranian leaders in a row, they cannot kill the ideology. Iranian government is structured in such a way that, it is not anchored to any particular individual. As soon as one is killed, someone will move in to replace him almost immediately.

The guy is in mourning now. He just lost his dad, mom, wife, and son on the same day; that's a lot for any man to take. Moreover, he was probably wounded in the attacks. He is also fully aware of the fact that there is a target on his back; any public appearance will not just put him in danger but also anyone around him.

The truth is that it could go either way. Iran could get a more moderate leader who will seek to make peace with the US or get the exact opposite. In any case, I think the late Khamenei, was a moderate leader and if the next leader happens to be more violent, that will be a problem.

I agree. they will suffer a lot, but if they can somehow manage to the see the end of the war and come out with their regime and sovereignty intact, then they have been victorious, I suppose.
