Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has set his sights on drastically reducing the traffic problem bedeviling the State by introducing a world class traffic information and management system.

The globally tested traffic system which has worked for many cities similar to Lagos may have caught the eye of the Governor who wants to see Lagosians spend less hours in traffic and more in their offices and at work, according to the State government.

Investigations have revealed that in the next couple of weeks, the governor will work with some experts to design a system that fits the Lagos traffic pattern.

Lagos is home to some of the worst traffic congestion in the world. Traffic congestion is a daily challenge in the metropolis with highly undesirable socioeconomic and environmental effects, increasing stress and pollution levels and reducing overall productivity. There is an urgency to decongest perennial traffic spots like the Third Mainland Bridge, Abule Egba, Apapa, Ojota and Dopemu.

The State says it will introduce a world class traffic information and management system. A smart network comprising of hundreds of cameras, road sensors and electronic displays have been specially designed to collect and deliver real time information to city commuters that will help regulate traffic.

Highly visible displays and a mobile phone application will flag highly congested hotspots, suggest alternative routes and estimate arrival times – all in real time, according to the traffic management blueprint.

The State government says it realises that information is power and is set to empower Lagosians with more traffic information ahead of time.

Ambode has also said he is confident of reducing the time spent in traffic, drastically improve each commuter’s quality of life and improve the city’s productivity as a whole. The Governor avers that in big cities of the world, traffic information systems have helped improve traffic flow to a large percentage.

Since he took over the reins, Gov Ambode has spent more time trying to solve the Apapa traffic conundrum and other traffic related problems in Lagos.

My brother I studied Physics (B.Sc.) i am on my M.Sc. physics (Condense matter physics )program

so I understand that its practically impossible to study B.Sc Physics and mathematics in 2 years
and also its impossible yo study M.Sc Physics and Mathematics in a year

imagine someone that study Agric Economic for 4 years saying I study agricultural science for 4 years and study Economics for the same 4 years

or a NCE student who study eco-maths for 2 years saying he studied Economics for 2 years and he study mathematics for 2 year

my opinion
obtaining the two set of certificates at the same time is practically impossible
maybe a look at his transcript for the four degrees will explain more
and a look at the university's curriculum for the two set of degrees may also be necessary

So I went to an interview and after discussing with the potential employer, I realize it was a marketing job. In order to ascertain my ability to the job, he asked me to write down strategies I would use to market the product.

I had no problem with this so I went ahead and did so.

After reading it, he said he's not yet convinced. He gave me some flyers and said I should do what I can to get a particular number of clients within a given period. This is not free as I would be paid a certain sum of money. He also gave me some money for tfare.
What am able to bring in will determine if I get to continue or not.

Now my question is: Is this right? Do I have to prove myself before I get a job, apart from the normal interview process?

Pls mature advice needed, as I'm thinking of returning the damn money and flyers to them. Is there something I should have done that I didn't do?

A potential employer need to know what you can do and not what certificate you have acquired
for him its the best way to know if you can deliver or not
I advise you take it as a challenge, deliver the clients to his company even if you are not interested in the job, then make up your mind later.
The employer will respect you so much that he may give you a better offer

Guys, i was just having a conversation with my girlfriend/ wife to be about likes and likes-not in bed, and while listing her likes, she went on a story telling episode about her previous guy. The part of the story that caught my attention was when she said that her ex will do her for hours without resting. Is it even my damn problem or her's? I know for damn sure no normal guy will last for more than 20 minutes of constant thrusting. The word SATISFACTION is relative I guess you are satisfied with 15- 20 minutes while she want 4-5-6 hours

1. Bring friends along like Protocol officers.

The poor dude perhaps may have borrowed money just to make the date a memorable one. However he later discovers that instead of having a date with his supposed girlfriend alone, she eventually comes along with her numerous friends to siphon his pocket. Funny enough if he tells her his preparation was just for him and her alone, she will start nagging, giving unnecessary excuses like maybe he is a criminal or something, so she can't trust a stranger.

2. They get busy with their mobile devices

This is when they bring out their collection of mobile devices and start pressing them as if they have not operated one before whereby making the dude look foolish and non existence in their presence.

3. Make him overspend

Some ladies are parasitic in nature as they explore the rare advantage at the ink of any date by requesting for several meals, etc. I call them "the sharwama or hot dog babes" as they pick every dick and Harry of meals in an eatery during the first date.

4. They show up very late

When a date is fix at 3pm, they showed up around 6pm giving flimsy excuses of traffic jam due to a tanker explosion, armed robbery attack, boko haram bombing, etc. Thereafter, they won't show any remorse at the expense of expecting the guy to apologise.

5. Monosyllabic reponse to your discussion

How can a guy talks like parrot from morning till night, trying to prove good sense of humour only for him to get short and annoying responses from her like "k" "alright", "hmmm", "what", etc. His morale and confidence will burst like balloon.... one time!

6. Communicate with unfriendly body languages

Some use frustrating body languages like bad eyeing to downsize him, hissing continuously and frown @ him like tiger. In such scenario, the guy will have no choice other than to call it quit.


7. They deliberately start making several calls


This is the time they start calling their long time friends and relatives, keeping the guy in their lust prison like a dog. As a guy, so many things will be going on his mind as what he can do to have the lady's attention.

8. They are in a hurry to leave

Perhaps she is a student, this is when she claims about an early lecture to attend the next day after she came late o! She rush the whole dating thing by asking the guy to get her "take away meal" and she zooms off immediately.
