Nigeria is not a nation and can never be one. India and Pakistan separated when it dawned on them that they were incompatible. That was commonsense there.
Here in Nigeria, we know we're not compatible yet we pretend and base our decisions on hurting others even when the decisions won't help us in the long run.
Nigeria's problem is fundamental besides other myriad issues. Without solving the fundamental one, nothing else will work. The main question now is this; can the fundamental problem be solved? Yes it can but no, it won't be solved because commonsense isn't common in Nigeria.
The fundamental problem is the structure of Nigeria. If it is not changed, forget it, Nigeria will descend to the worst contraption in the nearest future especially when their no longer any free oil to lubricate her rickety wheels.
I'm not like you who's all emotional than logical. Nigeria is DOOMED. Take a look around and tell me what you see. Not at war, yet her army are scattered all over the six regions to 'control' the violence all over.
Terrorists are pampered and enlisted to join the army while non-violent protesters of any sort are gunned down.
Look at the economic trajectory... gloomy like the vulva of an overworked farm cow.
Look at her infrastructures, dilapidated and unreliable.
Her tourism is dead. Nigeria can't host an AFCON currently and even moving forward. Nigeria is dead.
You're here thinking I'm campaigning for PGO while trying to defend a fraudulent personality who stole power but can't handle it. For you information, I have never campaigned for Peter Obi because I'm a futurist who plans many years ahead of the present and can foretell to a reasonable level whether a particular decision will be helpful in the longrun.
Based on my desires for Nigeria, PGO will delay it but BAT just like his predecessor, will bring us closer. True to my projection, they have brought us closer. See how suffering on monumental proportion has been unleashed on the inhabitants of Nigeria who mostly lack commonsense. Since they refuse to learn from other countries experience, they will have to learn first hand through their own experience which won't be palatable. We are in that desperate time now without help from anywhere. At the end, most will agree to trade Nigeria for their own lives.
I reiterate the good tidings that will succeed the demise of the evil contraption so those undeserving of the suffering within her can progress in peace.

We pretend alot. Those opposing you are praying for Nigeria to fall. The Yorubas will be glad to exit Nigeria now because they have everything. bEFORE ANY BREAKUP, WE NEED TO HOLD A CONFERENCE of Ethnic Nationalities to conscientise all the 250 ethnic groups about nationhood so that in the event of a break if any ethnic group is joing another to form a nation ,both must have equal status and understanding and not one dominating the others.
Breaking Nigeria into countries will help us alot. Development will reach people.
Europe was once like us but from the European wars to WWI and WWII saw ethnic agitations that spilted empires. today we love Europe

You need to get sense pls. No one says Igbos dont commt crimes, crimes are part of human but some of you think Igbos are saints just like a crimnal will do evil no one will say much but when a Pastor does it , the act will go viral just like that of the Igbos. Well i understand the high expectation placed on the Igbos knowing that they struggle for their survival which everyone can see.
But the question is how many of the other tribes have you index when they commit crime?
Ritual killings is a house to house activities in the Southwest including armed robbery and kidnapping, worse with the Hausas and Fulanis which is every day, but how many of these people have you given us their names? Im suprised you dont know anyone among the thousands of these people.
They are arrested and later freed.
If Igbo person commits crime please let the law take its cause, if another tribe let it also take it cause. Why we have crimes unabated in our society is because of the failure of those who are supposed to combat it.

It is not easy to speak against a common habit associated with your people. From Awo to the Oba of Lagos who said he would drown another Tribe in the lagos lagoon , to the tribal bigot in UK that once called for genocide against another tribe, you Tinubu , Bayo Ononuga, the lagos agbero king MC Oluomu, Dele Alake and others that promoted tribalism, this lady knew it is a crime against God and humanity.
If nairaland is interested in standing against tribalism , this lady in question should be tagged on the front page of Nairalan with 5Gold Stars so as to encourage unity in the country.

Ajayi Crowther was a slave who was freed and commissioned to use Christianity to free other slaves. The way he spread the gospel is how other Igbo slaves did in Seirraloeno and elsewhere.

Even at that much of what people call history in nigeria are lies.
For example, the Yoruba people in the past claimed that Benin people originated from them , not until one of the Oba had to correct the fake history by narrating how oduduwa left Benin to establish Ile ife. And later he sent his son Oramiyo to Benin when the latter was having trouble with the leadership.
I will also refer you to the recent statement by the Oba of Benin reminding the world that Lagos belong to Benin. The Benin Obas are custodians of history and they come out once in a time to correct us of the falsehood that people have written about people.

There are lots of Revision on what people wrote in the past. You can get more from the history departments in schools of higher learning.

I like Obas they have history intact with them and anytime the opportunity comes they dish it out to correct lies.
It was one Benin Oba that corrected the falshood that Benin was found by Oduduwa. He rather clarified that Oduduwa was a Benin prince who left Benin during chose to establish the Yoruba kingdom, and along the line when Benin had issues Oduduwa was called to come back but he refused and sent Oramiyo his son who started a new dynasty.
When the Oba made that statement no Yoruba Historian debunked his fact rather they went silent.
Today, another Oba has brought out the fact that Lagos belongs to the Benin people. Those who are talking don't even know their history. No amount of your posts on social media can change history. It is there.
Some parts of Lagos are owned by the Ijaws too.
In Jos, the main town is owned by the Anaguta people, not the present-day Hausa Fulanis. Aba and some of its environs are owned by the Ibibio people, not the Ngwa people.
Let's learn to respect our traditional rulers who are well knowledgeable in culture to guide us.

There is no airline, Global and Local company that has not had cause to delay flights because of Technical glitches. From Emirates to Air France.

It is sad that the Igbos have subtly decided to attempt to demarket Ibom Air owned by a neighboring Akwa Ibom in a bid to promote an airline owned by one of them.

Today, Igbos are the second highest employees of Ibom Air, after Akwa Ibom indigenes. Ibom Air is owned by a State where over one hundred thousand Igbos are living peaceably and doing business without any form of attacks. The Igbos have businesses in Akwa Ibom and never has any conspire to demarket them. Tell me one single time Akwa Ibom people have shown hated against the Igbos?

For the records, Ibom Air is on the only Nigerian Airline listed in the top 10 airlines in Africa by the globally recognized Business Insider. Ibom Air was Leadership Company of the year and in only four years of commercial operations, Ibom Air is rated as one of the most successful airlines in the country.

Ibom Air has, as part of its assets, 10 A220 aircraft valued at one Hundred Billion Naira, and home Company to West Africa's only MRO facility. This is not a kind of investment you instigate hatred against.

These should be the concern of NLC and TUC and telling the president to revert to old price. Who does that? Who's Ajaero? He must be stupid. An elected president? Was the president elected by workers alone? Ajaero should find out who Tinubu is, if he doesn't know, Tinubu is not a baby he can threaten. He cannot use Tinubu to score points. Ajaero should go back to Obi that sent him that his Plan C would not work o.

Ajaero is just NLC Presdient that speaks for the workers.
The government should provide enough palliatives to civil servants if they want the increase to stay. It is not about Ajaero but the suffering being faced by Nigerian workers.
Werre do one get money to buy fuel at N537 per litre? Is it Ajaero that will give Nigerians fuel? Coming week will be very tough because the hike will reflect on items generally and Nigerians will groan under serious hardship like Jacob and his family who ran to Eypgt.

What the silly NLC leader should fight for is how Salaries will be increased to cover for this fuel issue. The call for the strike is sick if he is also working in the interest of the country. Now is the time for all to look at ways for this country to make meaningful progress.

NLC doing the same thing over and over again, subsidy returns, fuel price increases slightly and then, subsidy payment increases too.

If we follow the trend of things in this country, we'd understand that these marketers just want to make more money from the government in the name of subsidy while calling ridiculous amounts as the real price of fuel. Just last year, they said it will be 350 or thereabout per litre if the subsidy was removed. Early this year they changed the narrative and they said it will be N750 per litre. Is this not a way of holding the government bound to keep paying for subsidies whereas Nigeria consumes less than what they declare as the consumption per day.

We should start thinking of how to move this country forward and not backwards anymore.

That is what NLC is fighting for. The country cannot move forward with suffering created by corrupt elites. Since 2015 civil servants have not had increased salaries.
The former president jacked fuel price from 85 to 195 claiming he has removed subsidy. Which subsidy does this government want to remove again?

SouthEast people are more of private industries and organised businesses. Theyhave never participated in strikes rather they go about their businesses.
The truth is civil servants are the ones that need the strike most because their present pay cannot take them anywhere.
My advice is that Tinubu and his men should reach out to civil servants as they did during campaign begging them not to go on strike. They should be ready to provide them with alternative and not telling them to endure while they steal the money.

The solution is to avoid giving birth to Omo ale.
Avoid marrying a Yoruba girl because your children will be omo ale.

It can not be waved with just the hand that it means nothing when a traditional rites is usurping government power. The threat by Oro to restrict citizens movemnet is an indication that there is no governmnet in Nigeria. What kind of rite do they want to perform that will stop movemnet of citizens? Did they get permission from the police? Every tradition has such power and if they employ it the citizens will suffer and governmnet might will be usurped by the locals. People have abadndoned this tradition and allow what they do to be open. The last time i heard about such tradition that restrict people's movement was during the old benin kingdom when the did the Igue festival tht restricted the movement of strangers including that of the British consuls but the might of the colonial government prevailed. Also some religious groups have tried to impose such restriction and it didnot go down well with the governemnt who has such right.
Is it that the police are the one that granted the Oro the right to restrict citizens movement? Or they just imposed it? The Oba and his priest should keep the spirit in their houses nurture them because our world is a human world, a world ruled by a government.
The government must come out heavily on these spirits and their human guidance if not others will do same in their domain. Soldier should be out to protect citizens freedom because it is only the government that has the right to restrict people's movemnt. They should deal with whoever harasses citizens.

Yorubas have never been threathened anywhere in Nigeria but each time they will destroy people's properties in Lagos claiming it is their own forgetting that Lagos was built by the federal government.
Im sure Gbagyis in FCT are watching them. Those in Port harcourt are watching the Yorubas. Those in Bayelsa, Aba, Onitsha, Warri and Asaba are watching the Yorubas.
What they are doing will affect them outside. Sure!

Nigerian Army should be on all roads through out to protect citizens. The Oro has no rite to restrict people's movement. From Friday till Monday election issues will be on, party agents, INEC and INEC Adhoc staff as well as domestic and foreign observers will be everywhere performing their responsibilities and the police and Army should be everywhere to protect Nigerians. Nowhere is festival done to restrict people's movement. The last time i heard it was in old Benin Kingdom during one of its festival where the British consuls were told neither to enter Benin nor stay around because visitors were not needed during the festival.
You know the final story. Benin Kingdom has gone modernise and is one of the best kingdoms in the world.
The responsibility is on the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Airforce, Civil Defence, SSS etc to protect citizens from this political threat emanating from greedy politicians.
Shiites tried to do same in Kaduna but has been resisted by the governement.
This must not be allowed. The security agencies should flog and deal with any body be it human and spirit who comes out to threathens citizens right of freedom.

Did they get permission from the police to go public on this issue?
Is like we are having two governmnet now. Soon these people will usurp the power of the government.
The federal government should act now and stop this nonsense.

The 2023 election campaign has tarnished the image of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is seen as a drug dealer, sick man, aged, bedwetter, godfatherism, arrogant, and rogue. These words are coming from his former associates who know him better. In the eyes of the electorates in the North Tinubu's image has been battered beyond repair, and i think something should be done to this man that was once seen as a political strategist. Men of good conscience should kindly call son to prevail on the father to rest from the election because it doesnot favor him. Before the APC Presidential primary, Fayose warned him of running against he wish of the party. Now, all that Fayose said is playing out on Tinubu.
Nigerians have no good conscience, they only hope to take the old man's money.

It is obvious that Tinubu has lost it, no more credibilty and noone mentions his name among the contender.
The socalled "Owners of Nigeria" are interested in Obi and Atiku leaving Tinubu. Im sure this has created the recent outburst being displayed by Tinubu's media aides against Nduka to justify the money that Tinubu is paying them.
Like Macbeth, these guys are tied to the stake and must fight till death.
We wish them the best as they try to convince Nigerians to buy stone for bread; how possible.

The River state commissioner of works, George Killy Alabo is said to be better than Babatunde Fashola Nigeria's Minister of Works and Housing. Going by the roads, flyover, bridges and houses constructed in Rivers State under the supervision of the commissioner of works compared to what has been achieved by Babatunde Fashola, one can only say that Fashola is no match to the Rivers Commissioner. More importantly, George's work are delivered on time and achieved on quality. George is the brain behind Governor Wike celebration but this cannot be said of Fashola on President Muhammadu Buhari who has not been celebrated by Nigeria notwithstanding the huge finance budgeted and approved for road construction by the President.
Corruption and nepotism have destroyed whatever good should be achieved at the ministry that is why we have unmotorable roads in the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari gave juice positions to those that supported his election however these politicians have failed to deliver projects under them.
But George Killy Alabo is being celebrated by every visitor that visited Rivers state because of what he has achieved.
