He is very radical and pretend to be fighting for Muslim concerns but believe me, majority of yoruba muslims dont like his ideology.
Were is your statistics? Stop saying what you don't know. If not Prof., lots of yoruba moslems wouldn't v got federal appointments in this govt.

Ain't it funny, that the yorubas are now only seeing what others saw since 2014??!!!!

I always say it,if it's bad for the SE,it's bad for all south.
If it's bad for SS, it's bad for all south.

The mischievous jihadist used the derogatory term "5%" to describe his own citizens and the yorubas laughed and made mockery of the SS and SE.

The jihadist and so called leader of all doesn't have a single SE among his service chiefs and the yorubas made jest.

There ain't no single Igbo man in the helms of affairs in the presidency, the senate, the house of representatives and the judiciary and the yorubas made fun of their own fellow southerners!!!!
I'm not Igbo but the igbos didn't bother much, they are doing well and managing but the yorubas, are they happy today?
Can they beat their chest and say with all honesty that they are happy today?!

Well,my prayer is that God should unite us southerners,so we can liberate and emancipate ourselves from internal slavery and colonization....then we can sort ourselves out later.

VIVA ODUDUWA

Where is Lzaa imhotep biko. cheesy
Are you in their mind to know whether they are happy or not? For your information the Yorubas r very much happy. Mind you, about 33% of Buhari appointments are to them and that means a lot. The south east and South South do not have such appointments.

The truth is that we yoruba moslems are better and safe with the North. The appointments given to us in the south west is too little considering that we r majority.

not hating, just saying the butter Truth
Honestly SW is always hyped. Lots of propaganda with nothing to show. In 30 or 40years time, you will be told that Tinubu and SW States were the best from 1999. You will hear that Fashola performed more than the whole country put together. They will also tell you that Ambode built Lagos and that SW was ahead of other states and regions in Nigeria from 1999 to 2020. But no one will tell you that Sam Egwu of Ebonyi state practically developed villages and it's people into a city and state. They will not mention Chimaroke Nnamani who developed a new parallel capital Nkanu. They would v forgotten that Fashola was never a match to Peter Obi of Anambra state, or that Obiano was better than Ambode, or that Sullivan Chime transformed Enugu into a modern state. SW Governors are media governors. What has Fayemi done? What about Akeredolu, or Rauf? South East and South South will always probe their own any day any time but others will not rather they prefer tiwan, tiwan.

PoliticsIYC Dares Afenifere ,’count Ijaws Out Of Secessionist Oduduwa Republic’ by reality1010(op): 9:22pm On May 13, 2020
The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) on Wednesday dissociated the Ijaws from the agitation for Oduduwa Republic and urged those behind the moves to steer clear of Ijaw lands and territories in their quest.

Kennedy Olorogun, Chairman, IYC Transition implementation Committee spoke to newsmen in Yenagoa following reports credited to Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a chieftain of Afenifere associating the Ijaws with Oduduwa Republic.

Adebanjo had in media reports credited to him included Ijaw territories as part of proposed Oduduwa Republic as indigenous People group for United Nations recognition.

Olorogun noted that the Ijaws were a distinct ethnic nationality and do not to be subsumed or used to agitate for relevance and advised those behind the plot to have a rethink.

“Ordinarily we have nothing against people fighting for self determination because it is in tune with our aspiration as a people.

“However, we note that in a recent presentation to be part of indigenous people organisation of the United Nations, the promoters of the Oduduwa movement included Ijaw lands and territories in the present Edo and Delta States as part and parcel of the Oduduwa Republic.

“We wish to state clearly that though we are not against the aspiration of the Oduduwa movement self determination movement, however, Ijaw lands and territories should be left out of the composition of the Oduduwa areas.

“The Ijaw people are indigenous and distinct people in Nigeria and Africa and not part and parcel of any other ethnic nationality in Nigeria.

“The Ijaw territories of Egbema, Okomu, Gbarai, Olodiama and Furopagha in Edo State and Gbaramatu, Ogbe-Ijoh, Isaba, Egbema and Diebiri in the Warri Federal Constituency of Delta State which were included as part of the Oduduwa Republic are not Yoruba lands but owned by Ijaw people.

“We call on the promoters of the Oduduwa Republic to henceforth not include those areas as part of their Republic. We are not part and parcel of their Republic and do not wish to be part of it.

“We also call on the Indigenous people organisation of the United Nations to take note,” Olorogun said.

some days ago there was a topic about which region is capable of becoming a country among the six Geo political zone, there were sentimental debate mostly blw the west and the east region, anytime a person from the Niger Delta try to defend his region concerning the topic, someone from the east will tell him that, there is nothing like Niger Delta republic. meaning Niger Delta is under Biafra.
in the same topic, someone was saying that we lack human development index.
that language is very insulting to the collective people of Niger Delta. the eastern people where busy talking how they have high human development index in their region, but according to the latest poverty report from NBS, it stated that the south south region have least poverty, but the case of the south east is different.
the south east can't have high human development index and the rate of poverty is also high. that tell you that the south south have high human development index compare to the south east. Delta state came second with the lowest poverty rate, very close to Lagos state. every region accept the latest NBS report, even the northern region didn't complain about it, but the east where accusing the west concerning the report.

Operation: Second Eleven has already happened.

A group of un-elected bureaucrats, party officials and military men are running the show since the death of the defacto president, Abbe Kyari.

Osinbanjo is either in hiding or in custody.

As for Buhari, that one is not even aware of his surroundings as he has gone full blown autism.

The question to ask is why is the SW not demanding to hear and see of their last and only hope?

Has Tinubu been bribed with another twin set of bullion vans and a fake promissory presidency to keep things hush-hush over the power vacuum in Abuja? This is plausible as that one can sell his own head if the price is right.

Now is the time for the Ojota crowd, awon alutta people that said they were the ones that crowned GEJ as acting President to come out and do the same juju they did in 2009 for their own. Do this and we will know you are the real and only king makers.

Come to think of it, the lock-down in Ogun (the VP's state) and Lagos (his political base) was not necessary because these cowards will not riot or do sh!t.

OP, you v finish these people due to their greed and selfishness. They thought Nigerians were fools when they were putting up all manner of posts. The thugs used by Tinubu to rig election and destroy GEJ votes are the One Million Man Boys terrorising them now. How Kama works. Osinbajo while in office kept sbising GEJ even when PMB refused to do that. Funny enough the VP was given a long rope to do as he will forgetting PMB men were watching him and also bugged the phones of his boys. There r lots of corruption cases that if he venture any move,PMB boys will finish him. We must learn to be clean in whatever we do.
PoliticsRe: Ex-lagos Dep Gov, Other Returnees From UK Stranded At Lagos Airport, Threaten To by reality1010: 12:03pm On May 09, 2020
Indahosa:
The 253 Nigerians who were flown into Nigeria from the United Kingdom through the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, were neglected for hours by the Federal Government on Friday.

For over six hours, they were left under the sun at the tarmac, waiting for the aircraft that was expected be dispatched by the foreign affairs ministry to convene them to Abuja, where they would be quarantined for 14 days.

The stranded returnees included the aged, children, toddlers and few others on wheelchairs. They lamented their neglect by the Foreign Affairs Ministry which they said did not send any official to the airport to receive them.

Although the British Airways aircraft that brought them landed at the Lagos airport around 2.45pm, they were left unattended to for six hours. Around 4.30pm, airport authorities took pity on them by serving them bottled water under the sun.

Though the plight of the returnees had been attributed to untidy arrangements made by the ministry of foreign affairs, eminent people among the returnees including a one time former Lagos State Deputy Governor, Abiodun Ogunleye, made spirited attempts to contact the minister on phone, but to no avail.

The returnees who out of agitation as at 5pm protested their neglect even as they threatened to leave the airport by force while some said they might reject the move to take them to Abuja.

According to Ogunleye: “We were not treated badly in UK. Why should we be subjected to ridicule in Nigeria? They just dropped us here at the airport and they said we cannot move. No government official to talk to us.

“We have very eminent people here; who are we to talk to now? They said the minister was to make arrangement for us. This arrangement is not tidy. We deserve to be well treated in our country”

A journalist, who was among the returnees, said Nigerians returned home only to be exposed to ridicule in their country, saying: “The aircraft that brought us has even loaded to go back to the United Kingdom. We arrived around 1.45pm. It is now 5pm. No official came to us to receive us and give us further directive.

New Force? Well it all depends on who mamman daura picks because he has the ear of the president. But don't forget that his wife will attempt to stir the system which will definitely not work. All she wants is a say in the system and not to control it,much less when she is a northerner in a northern government. All that Daura needs is to compel the president to make a statement before others on something which he must have been told to do so. It means who ever is doing it must do the discussion and hang around so that no one comes in to convince PMB. However Daura must work with Kingibe and the president ADC. If he does not Nigeria will be in mess.

Long term goal is not secession or holding on to a failed union, long time goal is human and infrastructural development of our region, tell me any states that do everything in unison like Yoruba states, where’s there’s freedom to practice the religion you like, support any candidate you like, that’s our long term goal.

Our long term goal is to retain the industrial hub of the nation and the economic capital too, our long term goal is to connect all yoruba major cities together with a road like East - West line (USA), our long term goal is making Yorubaland peaceful so others can come to live and prosper and in turn increase our IGR, our long term goal is security of lives and property in our region, (creation of amotekun and very soon state policing) our long term goal is maintaining the best crop of lawyers in Nigeria Incase there’s a reason to secede, there won’t be bloodshed... If you study Yoruba history, you’ll know our thirst for liberty and progressiveness knows no bound, why our forefathers left ife to conquer territories

Maybe if IPOB study more bout the ANC and Mandela, they’ll know what’s call a struggle, how to liberate your people, sacrifice you’re to make, the type of government you want to run, your economic policy, Kanu hasn’t talked about that, just insulting... I wish they succeed with their secession quest, but Kanu is a distraction for their course, they won’t agree lol cheesy

I believe ndigbo have more prospects than kanu, go through history, secessionist leader doesn’t do act like him

I haven’t find that in biafra related post, just making mouth and beating chest

But if the Yoruba nation decides to secede this union one day, nothing on earth can stop it... you can check history

Long term goal is political tolerance with "oruka",jazz to anyone who is in opposition to you political you will burn his house and property. Remember Yorubas r still praying to drive Igbos into the lagoon and claim their properties. Long term goal to seccede from Nigeria with Tinubu, kikiki! Long term goal is to speak evils of IPOB but envy their non voilence strategies. Long term goal is to use Amotekun to achieve Oduduwa republic with MURIC. I pity you people.

Imo and Abia follows in the poverty index ranging within 21-40% bracket.

Enugu State surprisingly crashed and is above the 40% poverty index. Theirs is even inching towards 60%!

Ebonyi State Poverty remains the highest and one of the highest in Nigeria with an index inching towards 80%. This is disturbing.

PoliticsYoruba Politics And Oil Corporation In Nigeria by reality1010(op): 5:42pm On May 07, 2020
Since yesterday my neighbor has been annoyed and pouring vituperation on the Yorubas over what he described as oil politics in Nigeria. Douglas who hails from kalabari wonders why the Yorubas v taken commanding positions in all the oil companies especially SPDC. To him it has affected the commitment of these corporation in setting up a COVID 19 infrastructures in the oil producing areas where these companies earn billions and trillions of dollars through oil exploration. As ide from River State that just got a little gift from Shell Petroleum Development Corporation which came after much talk and threat from the Governor others v not made any contribution all due to the Yoruba politics in oil companies that exploit the SS/SS/SE. As far as the Yoruba people r holding commanding positions in these oil corporations our people will never get jobs there and the oil companies will never move their headquarters to the oil producing areas. The most annoying part is the abuse we receive from these people when they tell people that the oil producing communities are lazy and lack skills to fill in the required spaces they want. Until the oil producing communities r only allowed to occupy commanding positions in oil companies the politics will continue.

I have been seeing claims and counter claims of the death of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on social media. Whether Kanu is indeed dead or not is not the point of this thread. The point of this thread is those who claim that Kanu has died and was buried abroad are parading the picture of the burial of late Biafran activist, Professor Innocent Odenigbo, as that of Kanu.

For those who dont know, Professor Odenigbo was a die-hard Biafran supporter based the USA. He had worked with Ojukwu before, during and after the war. He later relocated to the USA where he lived and taught for many years. He was an outspoken Biafran activist who hoped to one day witness the independence of his fellow Igbos as Biafrans.

Sadly, that was not to be. He succumbed to Cancer and was buried in the USA in January 2015. His final wish was that he be buried as a Biafran.

Below are the links to two different blogs that reported his burial in 2015 as well as pictures. The pictures being paraded online as the burial of Nnamdi Kanu are that of Professor Odenigbo.

http://042vib3..com/2015/02/adieu-professor-innocent-odenigbo-iroko.html?m=1

http://restorebiafra..com/2015/01/we-regret-to-announce-death-of-prof.html?m=1
This is great indeed, the renowned professor was honored by the whites and buried with the Biafran flag wrapped all over his casket and carried by the whites.Pls print these pictures for people to see. Funny enough,a common trend in Nigeria and Nairaland is that mischievous acts against the Biafran groups especially IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu has always turned out good for the group. I can see that the guy is not distracted rather he is focused. He s been made popular each day and relevant by people.

nairavsdollars:
The media reported few days ago that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Lagos governor and national leader of APC upon return from the United Kingdom (UK) failed to self isolate but attended a meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Now Tinubu's Chief Security Officer (CSO), Lateef Raheem died of COVID-19 complications last week. Following this, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) conducted a test on Tinubu and his aides

According to NCDC, Tinubu's CSO died of COVID-19, another aide also tested positive BUT Tinubu and his wife tested negative.

Was it not Tinubu that traveled to UK and didn't self isolate upon return? How come his aides tested positive and he, negative?
Actually there is something we r not being told about Tinubu's covid 19 test. The truth is not far fetched if his CSO died of the virus and Tinubu is still alive having travelled to UK where most Nigerians got the virus. Unfortunately our fears r Beginning to unfold about the last days of the virus, how the elites will get the virus ,infect others and go in door for treatment while their poor workers will die miserably. I believe at this high time we need not be told how the CSO got it and who gave it to him. My concern is to avoid further spread of the virus and NCDC commencing contact tracing immediately. This means Tinubu will v to come out clean to tell Nigerians his status regarding the virus, and this must be in conjunction with the NCDC who is the main body saddled with responsibilities in managing the virus. We hope to fight this virus together and keep everyone safe.

It baffles me when northerners claim that their agriculture business is a contribution to Nigeria while Igbos contribute nothing.

The agricultural produce that the north is selling is personal businesses and the profit goes into the pockets of the individuals who own the businesses so stop comparing ii with proceeds from oil sales.

The money from crude oil goes into the government pocket and shared by all the states. Meanwhile the money you make from the gold in your region goes into private pockets in the north. This is how you people have been cheating the south for several years now. Too bad..

Your agricultural money is the same thing with the money an igbo business man is making from his business. They pay various government taxes so please stop deceiving yourself that your agriculture is a contribution like the oil money to Nigeria.

Even the agriculture business you claim you are doing has been hijacked by the Igbos. We buy up your produce and sell to other parts of Nigeria..

We import things and pay custom duties and taxes to the federal government so whenever you hear that the Nigerian Custom generates six billion naira every week, pls let it sink into your head that Igbo man money is part of it.

The Igbo business men in your regions pay daily/weekly/yearly taxes to your local and states government so stop disgracing yourselves here pls.

We also have three oil producing states and they contribute oil money too. Even if our oil money contribution is not as big as the other states, it is still a contribution
OP you v said it all.It is only a fool that will argue with you after this explainations. You seem to have gone too far in explaining what south east contribute to Nigeria as a nation.
PoliticsRe: Nothing Fears The North Like Disintegration Of Nigeria by reality1010: 10:32am On Apr 15, 2020
ezenwajosh:
Do you know that Northern leaders are manipulating the psych of their people with the many gifts they offer them at the detriment of other regions.

The North have created local governments out of deserts and empty lands, and with it they have sustained their poor masses and stopped them from rising up against them.

Most Northerners are paid in their local government headquarters, because they planned it in such a way that few people will be under each local government, with enough money to go round. Most people in the north, once you give them food, they have no problem again.

The government of Buhari have thought the North that Terrorism can be a lucrative means of livelihood. We have seen Boko Haram members rehabilitated, paid and recruited into the Army. Fulani Herdsmen terrorists are pampered by the regime of Buhari. Bandits are allowed to be kidnapping people unhindered.

For the past 5 years, this APC government have been paying Northerners five thousand naira every month. During this coronavirus lockdown, they were paid twenty thousand naira each, leaving out Easterners.

Also, the truckloads of rice which Nigeria government seized from importers were shared only to the Northerners.

When the border was closed, Northerners kept flooding Northern Nigeria with foreign rice unperturbed through Niger Republic.

Even when the money is coming from the East, Fulani caliphate keep sharing it to their own people.

They have for more than 50 years raised a subdued masses, instead of a productive masses.

This will hurt them seriously in no distant time. The only thing helping them is one Nigeria. That is why the North can go to war to defend One Nigeria. The North is not yet ready for division. They don't have the resources to sustain their lavish lifestyle.

Some say Northerners are down to earth. It is a lie. The North is actually subdued. And since their leaders see to their welfare by stealing from Nigeria to placate them, they keep being loyal. They are constantly told how their leaders torture the East to make sure they get all that makes them happy. A typical Northerner will be more happier to be ruled by a cow, than be led by an Easterner.
Northerners love their leaders not because they are doing well. They love them because they are keeping the East down and making Eastern leaders their slaves. It gladdens the heart of every Northerner, even the most uneducated amongst them.

The North is sitting on a time bomb. Destroy one Nigeria and the North will destroy itself. One Nigeria is the bomb detonator. Nothing will expose Northern Nigeria like the disintegration of Nigeria.

To exploit the northern masses, Northern leaders have purposely denied most of their people education. They have formed a religious mandatory Almajiri system that destroys young boys for their selfish religious and political gains. Millions of Almajiri boys can't read a single English word and many have become men and married multiple wives. Have you asked how these polygamous Northern men manage to take care of their family? The government takes care of them on their behalf. The local government inhabits little number of people, that there are lots of money to do this.

When the payment of Northerners by Northern Leaders is discussed, ignorant people will start asking what our own Governors are doing. Believe me, I am a huge and unapologetic critic of these Igbo Governors, but in this case I perfectly understand the game of the Northerners. The North considered the internal problems of the North when structuring Nigeria. In fact, to say Nigeria was structured to serve the interests of the North is a perfect statement. The North only had land mass from the beginning. Not the number of humans they lied to have through dubious Nigeria census. Though Northern population is rapidly on the rise; the reason being that the northern leadership controlled by the Fulani, opened the borders for their brothers across west Africa to invade Northern Nigeria and become indigenes. They also advised their people, both rich and poor to be marrying multiple wives.
The North needs One Nigeria to be able to maintain their growing population. That is why the present APC government is paying their teaming population (Northerners) 5,000 Naira every month. This payment will not stop, else their youths revolts against them.

These things will hunt the North. There will be uprising once One Nigeria is buried. There will be no more stolen money from the East to satisfy their pauperized masses. That is why they are fighting and shouting that the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable. As shameful as it is, they are ready to die for One Nigeria.

Today, things are changing rapidly. The inevitability of Nigeria division is dawning on the Northern Leaders. How to keep up paying their non productive masses is their utmost concern. One of the reasons why they now look so confused and won't stop looting the national resources recklessly

OP ,it is deception that has beclouded the minds of the northern leaders These r their instruments :religion, almajiri, Boko Haram and the military, and fictitious population figures. These instruments r used by the north to frustrate Nigeria and keep it at their advantage. But all these will not last.Funny enough the north is quick to tell you that the oil in the south east and south south belong to Nigeria but the land mass and agricultural produce from the north belong to the north.this is hypocrisy of the highest order.Esch they pray oil to exhaust in the east so that the people there will go poor It is not only the north that prays for one nigeria.some south west state also do that because they cannot survive without federal handout. You saw what happened during the Abacha Confab, how the south west changed and betrayed the East to support the north against resource control. The truth is that Nigeria will never remain this way.It will definitely change. The evils that the north has meted on the East will be looked into then and I wonder what the north would do Nigeria for now is a game to watch.
