landforeast:Once again i like this idea. This is how we can move east forward. Those in business and civil service can be reached either in their offices or shops. For genuiness try involve the states. Also, you can use this method to market products made by our people. For instance, during xmas you can market Ebonyi and Anambra rice. Create an APP where one can download, register by opening an account, connect same with a bank account so that someone can pay instalmentally for like 3 months or at once to purchase rice and he or she will pick up the rice at his or her nearest location or you deliver it to his house in the village. It will save us the stress of carrying rice from one far location to another. Some of us can purchase for you to supply to our loved ones in the village. By this you will be creating a huge market for those producing rice in the states, employment is there, marketing and financial revolution will be achieved. Please let think about this and start because people would want to book rice ahead and production will commence early. Also make it cheap because we will be booking ahead, the only thing you will factor will be the transport fare. God bless ala igbo because Igbo Amaka. |
reality1010:Let the private developers involve the states in this project, and see how those in civil service can get this land. |
landforeast:Please reduce the price for land in enugu. the state is a melting pot for igbos and south south especially people who reside in Abuja and the North. Why did i say this. You can leave Abuja at noon , get to Enugu in the next 6 or 7 hours, get to your house and rest. The next day you can decide to travel further to your home town if you like. Or you can spend some day and go back to Abuja. Please bring this land investment to the us in Abuja and the Northern parts of Nigeria. Enugu is peaceful and a modern city. The state should open up new areas for people. Same with other states in the east. Thanks and God bless you people for this idea. |
ZorGBUooeh:They made noise as if amoteku will destroy the herdsmen but after all the media hype and gathering of their fake, lazy and deceiptive leaders all of a sudden they fiddled out. The north allowed them to do their garagara knowing fully well that nothing would come out of it. If someone had gone in the question what they were doing, their noise would v increased for attention. |
MelesZenawi:Nnamdi Kanu is the one killing these Oyo people. He gives bribe to traditional ruler to shield him. He also tells OPC to keep saying they are mapping out strategies to contain the several killings. |
NEWSREPORT:Inject the criminal with poison let him die like rat . He wants money at all cost |
7lives:Igbos are Igbos, no matter what you say or do in your capacity you cant stop them instead they will keep soaring higher in every field of endeavor in nigeria and outside the shores of nigeria. Though Igbos particpated in the oup but the fact remains tha it was a Yorubas coup. We still see yorubas trying to replicate same agenda with Amotekun and Endsars protest but it is not working. Suddenly one of your professors have started yoruba seccession from nigeria. When you look at his ways of operation you will see that it is an agenda that has been there with them. Igbo are part of nigeria and will remain because they are everywhere. |
7lives:Funny enough, that your people wanted Obasanjo to help you leave Nigeria during the civil war and Abacha time. And everytime you keep saying Igbos wanted to annex yoruba land. what a shame and self denial. |
Dedetwo:Gradually the truth is coming out. People can see it even happening now, how some people will speak ,incite others pretending to be true in character and consciousness but when reality comes they chicken out and volte face. Imagine , the Obasanjo telling us how the Yorubas wanted him to secceed out of Nigeria during the civil war but he refused , and a repeat during Abacha time. Very funny, and tomorow they will be attacking the Igbos, what a childish behavior. |
marsman:Your claims on this platform are riddle with lies. I still cant tell why some of you lie decieving yourself. Zik was a nationalist and so he was and wanted to be. wHe was also an Africanist especially when you look at his influence on Kwame Nkruma which you did not mention. This influence was responsible in the Ghanain fight for independence. Now coming to Zik's influence in the South West, that region was part of nigeria and lagos was the capital and center of activities for the white man and everyone,so you cant blame Zik for his role in that region rather you blame Awo who brought in tribalism to fight a national course. On the issue of seccession, take time to listen to Zik's interview when he was alive. He told the white journalist that interviewed that he didnt support secession after Awo and Sarduana gave in to it becasue he knew what the white man wanted. He was the target and they knew he would accept it but he surprised them by saying no. Also come to think of it, is it the acceptance that is the grux or the direct action? Yorubas specifically will say seccession but when you bring them out for it their position will change. We have seen how Yorubas will say true federalism , fiscal federalism etc but at the conference they will change. Is it not Senator Adefuye and other yorubas that refused to grant South south resource control after all their noise on how Awo used resources in the region to develop the place. So keep to yourself that issue. Presently, Yorubas are begining to ask for succession after all the abuse and name calling on the Igbos for calling for seccession. Igbo land is developed more than other regions. Go round the country and see yourself. Apart from Lagos and Abuja whereelse. Even with no federal presence the people are living fine. How proficient and efficient is the socalled federal presence in your place? You still dont have water and electricity but individuals have been able to provide these things for themselves besides the humanitarian ones from people. Lots of you guys should concentrate on how to develop your place and make it nice, for the Igbos, they v gone beyond the Nigerian mentality. Remember w have more Igbos who understand Yorubas, hausa and speak the langauge than you do about the Igbos, and that put them in a better position to assess others, however they dont do that because they are capitalist in nature. |
Kosiso12:Ipob should please be fast because the bandits and terrorists v agenda too If you don't protect your self you are on your own. Unfortunately those talking v no solution to the insecurity in the north and they want the east and south south to be ungoverned too. It's not possible. |
Romanoff:His talk on Zoom made no sense. He was busy talking about his profession as a mathematician. He also talked about a Nigerian system of practicing presidential and parliamentary systems together. He lacks political wisdom. The restructuring he s canvassing was the same people rejected at Aburi. This kind of restructure will break nigeria because the regions or zones can go their separate ways after contesting and fighting the federal govt |
ote author=TheRareGem1 post=94116252] Nigerians have urged the national leader of the All Progressives Congress to support Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for 2023 following his party's impending defeat in Edo state. The Nigerians who took to social media on Sunday urged Tinubu to drop his presidential ambition and support the Vice President whom many see as a man of integrity and achievements. Writing on Twitter, @manlikeGov said, "APC better present Osinbajo and El Rufai. People will not vote Tinubu outside southwest." Sunday Ogo also shared the same opinion. "If my party, APC, wants to win the 2023 presidential election then we should appeal to Tinubu to drop his ambition and rally around Prof Osinbajo. The North will likely embrace Prof Osinbajo." Seyi Pythonian suggested that Osinbajo or Fashola are better candidates for 2023. "Let me publicly say it here that I don't support a Tinubu presidency, my choices are either Osinbajo or Fashola. Let's do away with this notion that because of the party I have a bias for I'm being bankrolled. Please that's not democratic. We should have our choices because this is democracy," he said. There are others who firmly believe Osinbajo will not contest if Tinubu is in the race. "Tinubu singlehandedly nominated Osinbajo as Vice President. Tinubu is running for President in 2023 and I don't think Osinbajo will dare run when his political benefactor is running." In the Edo governorship election, the incumbent, Godwin Obaseki of Peoples Democratic Party is in the lead while his closest contender, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is behind by over 50,000 votes.
Support Osinbanjo as a south west candidate that will battle the south east candidate and south south candidate? But you need to know that the way Tinubu will fail is how Osinbanjo will fail woofully too. Will Osinbanjo campaign in Southern Kaduna,Pleatue state, south east and North East? What will he tell these people during his campaign when he s been mute on all the killings going on in these places? What he tell the igbos in the face of the numerous killings by security men.? |

Mgbadike80:Why protesting what God is doing? If these exclusion and marginalisation is not happening to the igbos some of you will not feel strong or compelled to support Biafra. A time will come when they will ask igbos to remain in nigeria and the questions igbos will ask them will be how many appointments were given to them? How many of them spoke against the killing of igbos in the north? Alot will really be said. |
Sammy07:There s need for everyone to key into this project because of the cash that will be made by farmers. Surprisingly, Nigeria's fashion taste is tied to cotton production. South Africa generate more income from fashion than Nigeria due to her cotton and textile industry, but Nigeria imports about 60% of her clothes which means lots of waste and external expansion of China, Indonesia etc economic base. With bountiful production, the entire value chain will be affected such as huge employment, large market base etc. |
Sammy07:about 33 states are into this project. south west and south south states planted last season. this season is having south east states into the project. thousands of people v keyed into the project already and more will be included. NACOTAN and CBN are the poineers and supervisors in the project. |

Over 300,000 cotton farmers have been mobilized by NACOTAN for the 2020 cotton farming season. They v also been arranged into clusters and given large hectare of land. In this regard, it means the 2020 cotton harvest will be bountiful. NACOTAN / CBN provide land, tractor, cotton seeds, fertilizer, chemical and extension agents services for the farmers. Farmers are only expected to farm, harvest produce and supply to the ginnery for payment. NACOTAN is able to make you a big time cotton farmers and you will make huge money from it. |

President Muhammadu Buhari is bent on making south east , south south and south west the hubs of cotton production in Nigeria. These three geopolitcal zones were not centers of cotton planting in the past compared to the Northern part of Nigeria where the cash crop had thrived and a crop used in the development of the country. Through the National Cotton Association of Nigeria and the CBN Anchor borrowers programme, the Southern part of the country has been integrated into the scheme to boost agriculture and economic diversification. Already thousands of people in all the local governments in this part of the country have been mobilized with fund, land and materials to start up. This gesture exhibits the committment by PMB to intergrate every part of the country into his administration and to make them independent from oil.

Bendeco2020:Forget about hate, haters dont do any successful thing but they act as support to those they hate. Have you not seen that despite the hate on the igbos by the yorubas tribe, the igbos v continued to progress beyond their imagination in nigeria and globally. So leave them with their attitude that is how God created them. Just take a cue from the Isrealis and the Arabs. No matter the amount of hatred the Arabs have on the Jews it has never stopped the jews from being the world best. So it is with the yorubas over the igbos.no matter the amount of hatred it can not stop the igbo progress. Look at lagos and see the progress made by the igbos and the igbos v never engage in any act of voilence or fighting with their host communities unlike others. |
EBMedia:Which one is yoruba presidency again, are you people not tired. why are yorubas so greedy. the north is taking their slot which they v not taken for years and it is their turn after Obasanjo and Jonathan ruled for the South. Now it is the turn of the Igbos and South South , and South South to complete their tenure which GEJ started. So South west should perish any idea of presidency now after taking 8 years under OBJ and Osinbajo VP. Just know that thge idea is dead on arrival. Either south south goes to complete their tenure or south east commences theirs. |
socialmediaman:Your are right. This is what I expected the VP to do but he s threatening the whistle blower. Let him appear in public and clear himself of the allegations to prove his innocence. I believe it will help him |
Balenciagaokey:Wonderful! corrupt Nigerian leader. you were accused of corruption in an ongoing investigation of a top govt official.instead of submitting yourself for investigation you r busy threatening the whistle blower. |
Gracchus:No one mentions Tinubu ordinarily. Anytime you see others mentioning Tinubu, they r doing it for caricature. Funny enough yorubas r quick to tell gbos to leave lagos and south west region but they forgot that lagos doesnt belong to them. The igbos presence is the subject of why the yorubas hate igbos, but you travel to london, south africa etc to live happily whilst you hate people living in your place. is that not hypocrisy. wake up and move on with life. Igbo people care less of all you do to them. |
etokhana:This is surprising. A top official resigning and citing family issues. Well, its good,at least it will allow for thorough investigation by whosoever. Lets keep our fingers crossed and watch what will be the outcome of the US independent investigation. |
GBOKASINCHA:pls Igbo dont dominate anything but are partners in development. eg Lagos, Abuja etc |
MinorityOpinion:Of course you know Igbos are the least people to say hateful words unlike the Yorubas who are culturally abusive and hateful at people. No day passes without a Yoruba person saying evil words on the Igbos be it in Lagos, Southwest, or offices. In the past Igbos used to keep quite at these abuses, but now they return them fire for fire to the Yorubas. Watch out, In no distance time, Yorubas will push these attitude to the Hausa Fulanis. Honestly the rate yorubas are going with hatred on people will destroy them. Yorubas must learn to jettison tribalism, hatred, and abuse if not they will never grow. |
Iceberg3:What you call Yoruba unhappiness in buhari govt is just a tactical greed to get more. |
