Any story you read about Osu would be decades ago, anyone who tells you that such thing is still active today is only saying so out of hatred for the south east. I've been living here for years and I can tell you that I haven't met one Osu person in my entire life.

My own prediction.

Peter Obi will win South East, South-south and North Central and other people from all the regions that really want to save Nigeria from corrupt politicians will vote Peter Obi.

Atiku will win North East and North West.

APC candidate from South West will win South West

Then, Peter Obi becomes the President by the grace of God

The truth is that any direction APC turns it will not be in their favour, Tinubu is their joker and as it stands they are in a very place in respect of 2023 election.

The best option would have been for Tinubu to step down and throw his weight behind Osinbajo, but since this is not the case.... It is a win win for the north.

If APC manage to elect another candidate as their party flagbearer (Other than Tinubu), the possibility of Tinubu joining force with Atiku is very high and that would not be in the interest of APC, but it's even more dangerous for most of the political elites in APC because they have a lot of stake in Lagos state and Tinubu doesn't seem like a person who won't take revenge.

So the best option for the North is to allow Tinubu win the APC presidential ticket and work against him in the general elections, low key. They would have achieve two things, by securing the power in the north and not offending a powerful ally of the south.

My take is that Tinubu will win the primary election but not the presidential election.

Whether you believe or not, Atiku is the next president of Nigeria come 2023.

Reasons:
1. He will have majority votes in Northern region in general, Irrespective of the ruling party in the state!
2. Average Northern will prefer to vote for Atiku than voting for Obi, Tinubu or Osinbajo. It's just common sense!
3. Southern region votes is already divided between Obi and Tinubu/Osinbajo.
4. If Atiku/Obi had contested the 2019 election against any of the two ( Tinubu/Osinbajo). It could have been a landslide victory for PDP then. APC won that election because of Buhari's popularity in that region, but truthfully, the SW contributed as well.
