Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by RealityShot: 9:22pm On Jan 16, 2017 |
godash: I've learned a lot on this thread and continue to. Thanks a lot to all the contributors here and to @feelamong for taking the initiative to start the thread.
I made my first Nigerian Treasury Bills (NTB) investment at the last auction after several years of fixed depositing. In trying to understand how the numbers tie together, I created a calculator for NTB investments and shared snapshots of it a few times on the thread.
Seeing the interest the snapshot generated from PMs I got, I cleaned it up and I'm now sharing it here for the entire community to benefit from. See the attached Excel file below.
To use it, just change the blue font cells to your particular investment situation.
Let me know your thoughts on it. However, I take no liabilities for your use of this calculator. So, use at your own risk. Also, like it, feel free to share it, and spread the love (of God)!
Happy investing everyone! Thank you for this! |

Strongbest: Heyllo Sir, the unit of colorant and fragrance to be added is as desired.
Just make sure you get the recommended colorant and fragrance.
And yes, you can.
It wouldn't hurt getting my ebook for detail explanation though because I'm not actually meant to teach all that here.
Thanks. |

Strongbest: Sir, you are there already. Just ask for an oil base colorant and fragrance for bar soap at the store, then add. That's all.
Thanks. Please how many units of colorant and fragrance do I add? Also is it OK to mix these in the oil before adding Caustic Solution? Thank you |

Strongbest: Lols. Well, I guess you already answered the question your self.
First, your decided to turn the soda solution into your oil even though it didn't dissolve completely.
Secondly, whenever your soap turns watery there's always something to do and I have explained that to some of us.
However, I'm happy you got your self a new formula and it worked for you. So, congrats Sir.
Thanks. Yeah thanks! Funny how big the soap is from that small mixture A big 150g soap! I don't like the smell at all.. Please when will you teach the second part about color and fragrance? Thank you Sir |

Strongbest: Using the red cover as our measuring tool:
1. Caustic soda......1 unit
2. Soda ash...........1 unit
3. P.K.O................7 units
4. Sodium Sulphate.....1/10 unit Hello Sir! I finally made my first soap today! However, I used the above measurements And the mixture got stiff as soon as I added Caustic solution... Also.. The soda ash did not dissolve completely in 3 units of water.. I added the ash like that and turned it by force.. Well water separated out of the thing leaving a pudding on one side.. I threw away the water and packed the pudding into my mold.. Lol Then I did another batch.. This time I used : Caustic soda > 1/2 unit mixed with 2 units of water Soda Ash > 1/2 unit mixed with 2 units of water It took a long time to stir it.. And it stayed pretty watery.. So I added 1/5 teaspoon Of salt.. mixed with a few drops of water It got thicker and soon I poured it into my mold.. SEE PICS Haha! Thanks for the tutorials! Why did your measurements turn out like that?

nature2abdul: It is not 'intellectual capabilities' we are lacking, but political environment.Nigeria have intellectuals in all fields of endeavor all over the world. Imagine that the diversification focus of this government is mainly in the North West and East. Coal that has been a major mineral in the Eastern part of Nigeria and even in Kogi state is now been celebrated as diversification goal of the FG. The only solution to our problems is restructuring! yep! WE need to change from Federal Repulic of Nigeria to United States of Nigeria |

From Nickel to gold to tin to crude oil, so stop hating i believe the north (if not sokoto) is mining DIAMONDS ! but ofcourse they wont publish that! the gold mines..who is accounting for the productions? Is it included in the national revenue sources? pst! We aint blind or illiterate..we see what the north is doing in this country |

obailala: Bro, we must learn to walk first before we think of joining others to fly. As it stands presently, Nigeria isn't even crawling. Even in the next 50 years, coal is still going to be relevant for world energy despite the current global campaign against it.
Another very important point is that even with a hundred massive coal plants in Nigeria, the environmental emissions will not be up to 0.01% of the emissions we get daily from the over 15 million generating sets that presently light up the country. although your figure for the number of generating sets is very low... YOU DESERVE A BIG HUG! well said! |

gamaliel9: On coal, the governor said that the Cement Company of Northern Nigeria (CCNN), otherwise known as Sokoto Cement and owned by the BUA Group, has started using the mineral as a source of energy in operating its plant
BUA will use coal sourced from Sokoto to fuel the 40MW power plant being constructed at the factory
Is CCNN different from Sokoto Cement? Is Sokoto Cement different from Bua? "has started" "will use" no.. bua group is a group of companies, CCNN (AKA Sokoto cement ~ jsut another "local" name for CCNN company) "has started" CCNN cement plant is already using the coal "will use" Bua Group is building a new power plant which will use the coal when completed.. |
