Hey gentlechief, I've been trying to contact you, can't get you with mail, can you please send me a pm? Or let me know how I can contact u

GentleChief:

Bros dont mind them. They think we are stupid.

Most here might even be his alternate monikers.

I have sworn in my life never to buy used again especially from Nairaland.

If I wait for the seller today and hears nothing reasonable, I will move on to my next plan.

It will take 1 million generations for me to forget what he did to me.

Since I came here I have never tested any German food.
Ich koche gerne selber zu hause (I cook my food)

It help to save cost...

Germans have different types of junk food.... I find most their food as junk.... If you are the type that likes eating junks like
Sausages, pies, drinks, yogurt etc... You have the tame your appetite or else I give you just one week and you will turn to Yokozuna.

Thank God for rice, spag and bread....

No beans here... If you see, it's very costly.... In just one shop I saw beans in Jena... A packet of beans that contains like 3 milk cups... I was seeing 1.70euro.

Are u at Jena? I searched for the beans at Jena Asia shop, couldn't find Nigeria beans, where u see the beans?

Please house anyone paid from Nigeria for their uniassist charges, just tell us how u made Ur payment because many of us don't hv people in Germany to pay and u just can't transfer Ur money without being sure, u know we suffer get d money please help those of us trying to pay, abegggg too

The best bet is for you to transfer to them, none of us have people in Germany before applying or coming here but we've all benefited from people we don't even know, though there are fraudsters but not all, some of us just wish to help and give back. You can go to your bank to make the transfer for you if you don't trust anyone in Germany to do it for you.

Would layover in Cairo on the 9th and land in Germany on the 10th.

If your start date on your Visa is 10th, you can't travel on 9th, your visa isn't valid till 10th

Goodmorning guys,

Please those that used Fedex prepaid envelop, were you able to track it when it was sent back to you by the Embassy?

Passport was delivered on Wednesday and till now the tracking data is saying not found. Enrollment deadline is 11th.

Yes, it will show on the tracking once they send it, but they don't update their tracking immediately, it takes hours

Good evening everyone. Please can someone put me through on how to book appointment for documents certification? I have notarized copies from my previous applications but the school stated certification. Thanks.

Notarization and certification is same thing, you can use the one you have, unless the school state it that only certification from embassy.

I received my VISA yesterday

TIMELINE
AL- 12th June
Booked AD- 7th June
Interview - 21st August
AM- 16th August
VISA- 23rd September

TESTIMONY
The journey started on 5th April after I received an admission rejection mail from a Norway University I've put my mind on, I thought of looking for alternative and I came across this thread that same day, I read every post on about 3 parts, created my Uniassist Account on 10th April, and applied to 4 schools total 165 euros, got 2 admissions and 2 rejections. Booked for interview date on 7th June without admission (but with the fear of not getting date later with all what I was reading here then) used Oct 1st as Start date, received Interview date the same day for August 21st.
Received First Admission letter June 12th with enrollment deadline of September 30th, and the fear of Few weeks between Interview and Enrollment deadline came in, I asked for advice here, majority said I should cancel and rebook with an earlier starting date, but the fear of not getting another AD couldn't let me cancel it, I sent a mail to the embassy and explained the situation to them, they replied that there's no way they can issue Visa between 5 weeks. But the testimony of some people here kept me going, I decided to stick with the date but decided to ensure I fund before interview.

Fast forward to Interview, I stayed at Sappers Lodge for 8k, went to the embassy and I was one of the first 3 Mr Paulinus attended to after sending some people back, I was interviewed at the outside counter close to the gate, I was very afraid when I saw my other mates going inside and I was told by the security to wait for the outside counter that that was what Mr Paulinus wrote on my Letter. I asked like 3 times and started praying like hope it won't end up to be like an error from them. A dark woman interviewed me, I think counter 1 (the one close to the small gate that goes in to other Visa Section), she asked if I've blocked and how much, told her 8640, she said I will have to sign and top it up, I started arguing with her that it's not yet September 1, she insisted that's it and I have to send the new confirmation very very soon, She asked all the normal questions, no phone was used, I was barely hearing her, many times I asked her the questions again, I didn't know when the interview started (Maybe because no phone was used) , I was just giving few answers thinking it's just pre-interview questions and I'll drop all I've crammed during the proper interview till she asked what do u know about Germany.

Questions like:
V. O: Who do you know in Germany
Me: Nobody
V. O: What's your plan after study
Me: To come back to Nigeria to establish my career and after that go into politics
V.O: you sounds like one
We both laughed.

I sent new blocking confirmation tru mail on 3rd September, A.M dropped 16th September, sent Travel Insurance and Passport 19th Sept, received package 23rd Sept.

Everyone that contributed info to make this place a home, thank you! Thank you fam, Thank you NL!

I'm sorry for this epistle, thought it might be useful for someone out there.

There's no need to include it in your documents.
But you can mention it on your CV

Thank you for the advice, but can it be stated on CV?

Good Morning,

Please is it advisable to put an appointment letter of a new permanant job (say 2/3 months old job) to the documents submitting for Visa Interview? Knowing fully well that granting leave is not possible.

Please advice, thanks.

Transcript alert Fam!

Do not staple as Paulinus will do all of that.

Congrats, Am soon!

Please the 'do not staple', are we not expected to staple documents that av 2 pages together? Like CV and Admission letters that have 2 pages each, we should just go with it like that without stapling these pages together? Please explain
