PoliticsRe: Go And Die Widow: PDP Inaugurates Empowerment Programme by realteflon(op): 11:55pm On Dec 04, 2013
I am an edo indegen but watching that video today all thanks to PDP who are scoring points on osho poor leadership

1. So the woman actually knelt b4 the governor begging.

2.Its a shame on the gov. If the propaganda appology was thoroughly out of his heart, he would av gone all out 2 look for the woman where she resides and tender his heart felt appology blaming it on anger not the other way round inviting her 2 govt house. A case example is the former UK prime minister Gordon Brown when he went all out after the lady he called a bigoted woman and appologies to her the same day. Ours is a reverse

3. God would accept Gov Oshomole's appologies if he had used his personal monthly salary 2 pay compensation to the Go and Die widow rather than the states tax payer's money
PoliticsGo And Die Widow: PDP Inaugurates Empowerment Programme by realteflon(op): 11:30pm On Dec 04, 2013
Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party on Tuesday said it had raised N1m for the take-off of a “Widows Empowerment Programme” to help widows in the state.

The party also used the event to present  N250, 000 to the widow and mother of four, Joy Ifije, whom Governor Adams Oshiomole scolded penultimate week for blocking the road with her goods, telling her to “go and die.”

Oshiomhole had, however, apologised. He offered a job and N2m gift to the widow on Monday during a tea breakfast with Ifije and her son, Bright.

However, while handing over the money to Oredo Woman Leader, Mrs. Pat West-Erhabor, for onward passage to Ifije, the PDP chairman in the state, Chief Dan Orbih, said the governor’s action was belated.

He said, “It took Edo PDP’s outcry to rouse the governor into action. The gesture is belated.

“Despite the intimidating atmosphere under which she was presented the money, the widow maintained her innocence that she was not trading on the kerb or walkway.

“I also want to say that watching the presentation ceremony, I was disgusted with the governor for subjecting the widow to her knees. If someone is apologising, is it the person you are apologising to that should kneel down?

“Even if the person, out of fear or intimidation, should kneel, you stand and not subject her to humiliation. For us in PDP, N2m will not wipe away the tears of widows in Edo State or even in Nigeria. So far, the PDP has contributed over N1m for our empowerment programme for widows in the state.”

When contacted later in the day, Ifijeh told our correspondent that she had not collected any money from the PDP.

How, this story is full of lies. Unemployment is there, housing deficit is there, poor education is there, power supply isn't enough like south Africa who can boost of 41k megawatt.

Nigeria will even overtake some Asia countries when things begin to fall into the right places

Death didn't gave him the chance to fly to places like UK,or America where our former and present politicians go to die so that they will make haven.
PoliticsRe: Taraba Speaker Confirmed Dead by realteflon(m): 5:17pm On Nov 04, 2013
Layoo quote:

In Nigeria the soul of every dead person rests in peace.

When abacha died people reminded his damned soul to rest in peace when he gets to eternity but unfortunately for him, it was too late.

When the political thug father of Ibadan died a special prayer was offered on his behalf and clerics assured the family their father has gone to rest in paradise.

Eternal rest is not cheap to come buy neither is it an honorary title or degree that is conferred on people

It is an "achieved status" that individuals must attain while still here. it is not a god-father thing or man knows man

God doesnt hear prayers offered for the dead. once you fall down and die like this man, your case file that contains all your dirty works is closed and sealed and placed on your chest.

No prayer can reverse it. it is this file that speaks on your behalf whether you are to rest in peace or suffer in eternal pain.

All the human rituals you do to win elections and all the public money you stole and stach up in your bedroom and foreign accounts will not allow you to rest in peace.

Our prayers for you will only amount to a lip service to make your bereaved family feel good while you are crying in pain because of the heat of the FIRE of hell.

Repent now and return all the stolen money and God will forgive you and your souls will not perish.

For what does it profit a man to gain this whole world and lose his life or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Ignorance in full show. Why do you need someone to pray for physical money for it to grow? stupidity.
There are just too many wicked people in Nigeria and they are aided by our governments failure to cater for the people. People have lost faith in their leaders and thus seek for help from the so called spiritualists/imams/pastors etc rather than their God.
Wicked men (so called religious men) are preying on the weak and desperate Nigerians. They are selling hope to the poor and miserable people. Decieving in all patterns, sow seed, bring fowl, come for cleansing, all na same scam. You have no job/business/plan for money and yet you borrow to sow, if you like let your Amen/Amin be the loudest when they give those abrakadabra shouts of 'recieve', nothing for you! Faith without works is dead! Factories are shutting down and churches/mosques are buying the property, people are loosing jobs and running to church/mosque and yet we are praying for a better tomorrow. Where does all the tithe/saraka go?
Wake up my brothers and sisters, Chinese people that have turned their fate around by industrialization, are they children of satan?
I will still blame the government because if the basic amenities are available, it is easier for people to think and harder for them to be fooled by these criminals.

PoliticsUbah Stakes N5 Million For Anyone To Debate Him On Anambra by realteflon(op): 9:51pm On Oct 23, 2013
Labour Party candidate, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah has staked N5 million for any man or woman in Anambra State with the knowledge of a more qualified person to govern the state to come and debate him on it.
Ubah in an interview said that his gubernatorial bid is an act of sacrifice as according to him he left a flourishing business to come and serve his people. He dismissed as unnecessary innuendo assertions that he lacks a paper qualification saying none of his rivals has a Havard qualification as he has.

Ifeanyi Uba
“I am winning because I am the best candidate, I am winning because I have the solution to (the problems of) Anambra people,” he said.
“Whoever in Anambra politics that feels that he is better than me I challenge him with five million naira to come for a debate.
If anybody in Anambra be it Ngige, be it whoever thinks he is better than me he should come. It’s a challenge, if anybody is better than me in any line, he should come and challenge me for a public debate,” the former boss of Capital Oil and Gas said.
“I want to tell you about other politicians that are contesting.
Some don’t have any business with the masses, some have never been in the state, some were forced, some will run to debate in America and don’t even know the name of their deputy governor.
You know it’s a big crime for somebody to be in a debate and he will not remember the name of his deputy governor it happened in America,” Ubah said of the public outing between him and the APGA candidate, Willi Obiano.
“He was confused that is the truth. It took him two minutes to remember the deputy governor’s name.
Is that the kind of person we want in Anambra State? Somebody who doesn’t understand how to fix Anambra, that is why I said anybody that feels he’s better than me should come for a debate,” he said.

PoliticsDo Every Nigerian really has a PRIZE by realteflon(op):
I was in an argument with a man in his 40's yesterday who said every Nigerian has a prize and when you meet his or her prize, he or she would compromise, betray and disappoint the trust of a multitude of Nigerians following or looking up to him or her only all for his or her own gain and benefit ahead of millions of Nigerians suffering. Meaning the current Govt met his or her prize.

Our argument went on for hours. I countered him because I don't agree while he was arguing hard to justify to me every Nigeria has a PRIZE and once that prize is met he or she would abandon others following him

As i read the headline news today of Asari dokubo opening university, owning properties in abuja and tompolo owning estates in abuja and acquiring a private jet at the expense of million of Niger delta people they said to be passionate about and fighting for the right of the region for infrastructure and economic development. They got the milk and they silenced.

Also the fuel subsidy protest. NLC headed by wahab and TUC head by isele got some milk and betrayed millions of Nigerians who were going suffer the effect of high fuel price.

When will this selfish fighting ends. Do all Nigerians really have a prize. Or we still have people of integrity who would not for load full of milk betray million following him.

Awolowo was 34, Nnamdi Azikiwe 35, Tafabalewa 37 when fought the colonial masters diplomatically for the freedom of Nigeria which they started fighting in 1946 meaning thy were all in their 20's and they all had one common goal. Nigerian youth shall we allow the labour of our hero's past be in vain?
Let us agitate with one voice and common goal fight for total change and true transformation For our beloved Nigeria. How long shall we continue like this?

You see how this so called freedom fighter for Niger delta people has ended up. He fought a selfish battle for himself. Now because his voice became loudest, the govt of Nigeria listen to him alone while the underdevelopment and decay continues in niger delta.

Now you all know why I said unemployed and underemployed graduate's voice needs to become loudest hence forth if unemployment is to be destroyed in this our time so that not just govt hear us but also those outside Nigeria.

God Bless Nigeria
Crime(photo) Hit-and-run Driver Kills Pedestrian, Victim’s ATM Card Missing by realteflon(op): 12:53pm On Oct 09, 2013
A young man, identified as Oluwayemi Oguntimehin, was on Tuesday killed after he was crushed by a hit-and-run driver along the Mafoluku/Ibadan Express-way, Lagos.

The incident was said to have occurred around 7am.

An eyewitness, Ilesanmi Olabode, told PUNCH Metro he was on his way to his office when the accident occurred.

He said the deceased would have survived the accident if he had been taken to a hospital immediately. Oguntimehin was said to have suffered head injuries and fractured limbs in the accident.

Olabode said, “It was around 7am when I was going to my office. I just saw that the guy, while trying to cross the expressway, was hit by the car.

“I quickly rushed there and with the support of some other people, we carried him to the Mafoluku/Gbagada bus stop.

“I saw that he was still alive but all the vehicles we tried to flag down to help us take him to the Gbagada General Hospital refused to stop, including a Lagos State Emergency bus.”

Olabode, who works with a fast food company, added that a tricycle however stopped, but because there were not enough people to support, the victim was left to die.

He said he handed over the victim to an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, who promised to call his colleagues to evacuate him.

“But to my surprise, when I came back to check, I saw that Oguntimehin was still on the road and was now dead. One of his two ATM cards, which I saw on him, was missing. I believed it had been stolen,” he said.

The General Secretary, Council of Oworonsoki Youth Forum, Mr. Kabiawu Babajide, told our correspondent that Oguntimehin was identified through his UBA ATM card.

Babajide decried the attitude of government to the people in the area, stressing that the spate of avoidable deaths
from accident on the road was becoming worrisome.

He said, “We have witnessed too many deaths of students, church members, hospital staff, and PHCN workers on this Gbagada road.

“It is unfortunate that since 1979, the Federal Government does not have any contingency plan to save the populace from these frequent tragedies that normally occur at Mafoluku and Gbagada bus stops.”

The Lagos State Police Deputy Public Relations officer, Damasus Ozoani, promised to call back on the incident, but did not call back as of 8pm on Tuesday.

fpeter: I'm glad I stumbled on this article, this is my 8th year of graduation from the University
sometimes i actually wonder if schooling wasn't a wasted effort for most of us in Nigeria?
I have a job but I'm highly underpaid, to the extent that most drivers in my Org. actually
earn higher salaries than the so called graduates, I decided to call some of my friends just
this morning and we agreed to fast and do an all night vigil for us to get better jobs. Now
some people would laugh at this but we've done everything, submitted resumes, cried, begged
relatives in high positions until we became some sort of nuisances and now they avoid our calls.
This unemployment issue is killing the youths, causing lateness in marriage, gross poverty e.t.c

NOW IS THE SET TIME; LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD!!!!
My dear, you truly know how many feel and the effect of these unemployment and underemployment.
Pls endeavor to at the next meeting if you reside in Lagos. Tell others about this struggle and movement
