I submitted on the 29th of April ( Friday before the public holidays), my application was taken to the embassy on Wednesday may 4th, and was returned to VSF on Friday may 6th.

don’t want to quote absolute figures. The total balance of account submitted excluding pensions was well over 100k euros if converted.

Told them I was going to spend 10 days .

Income tax clearance ( as many as I could lay my hands on)
Paid tour ( one for each day)
Vaccine card

-VISA Alert!!!!…just got my passport an hour ago.

-First timer!

-No travel history or VISa stickers of UK, US or any of the first world countries.

-only had Dubai stamp(visited In march) and Brazilian visa( haven’t travelled yet) on my passport.Copies of Visa Stickers/stamps of Countries I had visited( kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa) were removed at VSF.

-Single!

-Passport was retuned to VSF in two days, so I thought I wasn’t given the visa( going by the narratives here).

- one month Tourist visa given with an instruction to report to VSF on a particular date.

Thanks to the gurus on this thread. It was the easiest process since I have been applying for visas. I’m so happy.

Hello people,

Please I have 3 questions.
1. I want to fill an application for a Schengen visa through the French Embassy even though my first port of entry is Portugal. I'm still going to France from Portugal but Portugal first. Is that allowed?

2. I registered on the website for the French visa and I've filled the form. The only issue is that there is only space for one accommodation. Does it mean they don't want to know where else you might be staying?

3. I saw an option to download a form in Pdf and fill, is that really an option or can I only fill the online form?

P.s. The only reason I'm going through the French Embassy is because Portugal is only open for essential travel from Nigeria so I can't apply through there. Also I won't be travelling from Nigeria but from London so I figure that I won't have any issue travelling from London to Portugal.

Please, at VSF, do I have the option of filling an address different from my present residential address where I would want my passport to be mailed to?

chose 16/05/22. The box was green which means its free. I got the "payment successful notification " from the payment site ( Flutterwave) . But No appointment notification in my email . However , i noticed the payment site timed off while trying to connect back to the VFS site.

I applied for and appointment with VFS global.

Payment was successful.

however when i logged in in to access my appointment letter, i saw " Appointment has been cancelled or not scheduled. But i have paid oh. What could be wrong , please.

There contact number isnt connecting.

I have sent email , no reply.

Twitter handle not responding to messages.

Any one with such issue?

You can use your sibling's address
If it makes for easy commute to your school and as long as you're sure that he/she has a legal status in the UK so that it doesn't cause issues.

If not applicable, use your school address, please.

I work and earn substantial amount. Will not apply with my husband but will most likely travel with my son who does not need a visa.
How much balance do I need for this one week trip in march.

Your bank account balance is dependent on other factors such as your employment evidence your monthly salary and the balance on your account over the three months period required by the embassy, about 2m more or less is reasonable. And what’s the status of your son which qualifies him not to need visa?
